The Bortolazzo Group is some part of a billing company associated with ********************They have attempted to bill my insurance with an ineligible coding. Anthem/********** has denied thier claim. Due to the ineligible ********** The Bortolazzo Group is trying to get me to pay the bill. i just found out yesterday that there is a fraudulent itwm on my credit report in the amount of ******* from the Bortolazzo Group LLC, their address is ***************************************************** and phone number is ************, when you look at reviews on their company every one is a complaint daying they had a medical bill paid either in person or by insurance and Bortolazzo group charged them a second time which ended up on their credif tepoet like me. this is co.plete fraud and i am unable to get in contact with anyone there to get proof i owe this amount. this has abaolutely wrecked my credit for years unless it is removed. this company should be investigated.Initial Complaint

I visited ******************* on March 23, 2019. I was treated by Nurse practioner *********** ******. Amerigroup ******** paid my entire bill.On June 8, 2025i received noticed that I had a collections account from Bortalazzo group. The Bortalazzo Group sold "a bill" to a collections agency on May 25, 2025.I contacted ******** first. They verified my coverage and that ******** paid by bill.I contacted the collection agency they tried to shake me down for 40% of the bill and verified that Bortalozzo group was the "debtor" and Nurse Practioner *********** ******, a memeber of the bortallazo group, submitted this bill for non payment.I have lived at my current address since 2017. I have never received a bill from the Bortalazzo group.or *********** ******. Why did this Nurse Practioner fail to submit his bill to ******** at the time of treatment?I am requesting the bill and I am requesting that you all do the right thing and submit it to Amerigroup ********.The Bortolazzo group has ruined my credit by selling this "debt" to a collections agency.I sent 45 minutes on the phone with the Bortalazzo group only to be hung up on. *********** ****** why are you doing this?Amerigroup would've paid you. Your negligence has caused damage to my credit. ******** is wiping their hands clean.This is beyond frustrating.I will try to call the Bortalazzo group again.This is not right.Initial Complaint

My health savings account card services keeps kicking back a payment to these people stating they are not legit and not a reliable source for taking medical payments. I'm about to have my *** shut down because I cannot get these people to provide me with documentation that shows what medical services this payment was for so that I can provide to my *** company (******....which is another horrible company). I have reached out for help with no answers, and no responses. I keep getting paymentsmd when I call. The bortalazo company is a scam I've read everywhere and seen multiple complaints on their company. I was seen at ************************** 2 years ago and my insurance payed for my emergency room visit, 1 and a half years later I get a collections on my credit for ********************************************************************** proof that I owe this amount and refuse to negotiate or show proof of this debt.Initial Complaint

This company is a scam. I received a bill from them in December(12/11/24) for services received at the hospital. They gave me a discount for the amount if paid before 1/10/25. The bill disappeared by 12/18/2024 and didnt show up again until after 2/23/2025 for $500 more than the original payment. I called the company to get an itemized list of services and they could not tell me what I was being charged for. The code they used was for the facility visit which I already paid through the hospital.
