              I went to the Emergency room at ******************************** on 5/28/2022 for a leg problem. Supplied them with my existing insurance card, in that I was just moving to ******* from **** and still had coverage. After months of wrangling with Wellstar to provide me with a total after the insurance payment, I finally received a bill from Wellstar for $ ******, which was knocked down from the initial $ *******. I paid the bill online on 5/21/2023. Lo and behold on 4/21/2024 I receive an email from the bloodsuckers at Bortolazzo demanding $500.00. I called their 800 number and ended up with some partial-English speaking "agent" in the Phillipines that couldn't explain why I "owed" the money.

              We received a bill for medical services rendered on Friday 10/28, and on Sunday 10/30 at 6:35 PM, we received a second reminder that we have an outstanding balance. Their office hours are Monday-Friday 9 AM to 5 PM. I havent even had a chance to review their bill and compare it to my insurance EOB, and they are already harassing me for payment outside of their office hours. I havent even mentioned that the bill isnt even due until 11/10. This level of contact for a bill is unlike anything Ive ever witnessed in my life from a medical provider, and it comes across as completely unprofessional. Im sure this company would not like me harassing their physicians like this for a payment that is two weeks from the due date. Please change your practices.
