    On July 29, 2025, a large oak tree fell on our house, damaging the roof, eave, and gutter. I contacted a trusted friend and he recommended JC’s Tree & Stump Removal. JC came out & accessed the tree & gave me a quote of $4,000 seemed high, but I agreed. I told him that the tree did not need to be hauled away but deposited in the greenbelt behind the property. Prior to starting on the 30th, JC let me know that they would also have to cut the tree beside the fallen one so we lost two trees. I showed JC the property line and and informed him to dispose of the tree on the opposite side of the ditch. JC seemed distracted but nodded his head and said he understood. I assumed the tree would be taken care of, so I paid the $4,000 for the job. I am a 100% disabled Veteran & did not feel like walking to the back of the property, but I could see how the track ****** had destroyed the backyard. During my inspection on July 31st, I also discovered the instructions on placement of the tree was not followed, he had left it stacked on our property. There were multiple trees damaged and large limbs in the ditch. On August 3rd, I called JC and informed him he did not put the trees where we agreed upon and there were limbs in the ditch and the yard. He said he would take care of the problem. After several attempts to contact JC, we posted a negative review on ******. He returned the call within an hour and he talked to me in a vulgar and disrespectable way. JC proceeded to yell about us taking away his ability to care for his family, etc. He said he had sufficient equipment to take the tree down. So why didn’t he use a crane instead of cutting 2 trees down? In JC’s response he used the “*” word several times, ** this and *** ** * *** that. I finally put the phone down and waited until he had finished ranting and raving. I informed him as soon as he took care of the problem that we would remove the poor rating. That was 3+ weeks ago and there is still no communication with JC.
