On July 29, 2025, a large oak tree fell on our house, damaging the roof, eave, and gutter. I contacted JC’s Tree and Stump Removal and JC came out to access the tree. I communicated to him that the tree did not need to be hauled away but deposited in the greenbelt behind the property. JC gave me a quote of $4,000 which seemed high, but I agreed. Prior to starting work on the 30th, JC let me know that we would also have to cut down the tree next to the fallen one, so we lost two oak trees instead of one. I showed JC the property line and the ditch and informed him to dispose of the tree on the opposite side, JC seemed distracted but nodded his head and said he understood. I am a 100% disabled Veteran and did not feel like walking to the back of the property, but I could see how the equipment JC uses had destroyed the backyard. During my inspection on July 31st, I discovered that JC had not followed the instructions on placement of the trees, he had left them stacked on our property, also there were multiple trees sustained damage and large limbs in the drainage ditch. I called JC and informed him he did not put the trees where we agreed upon and there were limbs left in the ditch and the yard. He said he would take care of the problem. After several attempts to contact JC, we posted a negative review on ******. He returned the call within an hour after posting and he talked to me in a vulgar and disrespectable way. JC proceeded to yell about us taking away his ability to care for his family, etc. He mentioned that he had sufficient equipment to manage the tree. So why didn’t he use a crane instead of having to cut the oak tree next to it? In JC’s response he used the “*” word more than seven times, ** this and *** ** * **” that. I finally put the phone down and waited until he had finished ranting and raving. I informed him as soon as he took care of the problem that we would remove the poor rating which has not happened, and I do not want him back on my property.

We were referred to ** **** by a repeat customer. He called in desperate need of a tree service because of a big limb that had fallen out of a tree on to his house. I went out that same afternoon and gave him a price that he agreed on. We went to his house the very morning and remove the limb from his roof and also removed the rest of the tree. (I have before and after pictures of this job.) we spoke during the job and after the job was completed. **. **** and his wife were pleased with our work. He asked me for a invoice for his insurance company so I gave him one. The then wrote me a check for the completed job and shook my hand and told me what a great job I did for him and thank you for coming out so quickly. Also said he would refer use to anyone that needs tree removal. Approximately 2 weeks later I get a disturbing call from ** **** complaining about the job we've done and that I did not do what he said. He's a very unpleasant guy who obviously has something wrong with him. I've done what I told him I would do and he payed me. Don't know why he's making all this complaints but I have no plan on refunding anything to him nor going back to please him in any way!
