I placed an order for an IPhone XS 256GB UNLOCKED for the amount of 240$ in March of 2023. I received an email confirming my order and another the following day providing a visitors link for the tracking of the parcel. I signed up for tracking updates to email and phone. I have no record through email, text, or any other means of correspondence letting me know if my order was delivered. Even though I payed a premium for 2 day shipping I assume my order had been lost in transit. Consequently, I opened a support ticket to try and figure out whats going on. Support told me that they have filed an investigation with *** and asserted to me that the package was delivered to my address. I then opened another support ticket and was told again that because *** said they delivered the package it is my responsibility as the customer to contact *** and locate my parcel. The support was not helpful and continuously off-put my complaints regardless if theyd contracted a mistake-prone company. I am out of 240$ and a phone. I feel like Ive been scammed. From looking into this, I can see that your order was sent on 7th April, via UPS.
The tracking number for this was 1Z867E8W0395071845.This was then marked as delivered by the courier on 8th April, and was marked as delivered to Front Door, indicating that it was delivered as addressed.
Our claims team did review this when it was reported as not received, however our investigation has been concluded as the claim being rejected.
The item was delivered as addressed, and the courier confirmed this was successful, therefore we do have reason to believe the item was received as expected, and we will not be refunding this.

I did business with Decluttr by selling some old CD's and DVD's to them. They offered to pay me $11.66 for my items. Their website states they will send payment the date after they receive the items. I shipped them on December 29th, and by March 13th had not heard from them. On March 13th, I messaged through their website that I had not gotten paid yet. My account then stated that payment had been issued and to allow 7 days for it to arrive. We are now 30 days later, and I have still not received my payment. I have messaged them 2 more times through their website with no response. They do not have a direct email address or phone number for me to reach out. I was told that I could sell my phone here on D clutter website so I did and they sent me an email with the tracking number so I printed it out put it on a box and sent my $650 phone to them. they said they would pay me $641 but now when I go to a website they have the tracking number messed up and this is their fault because they gave me the tracking slip so they are stealing my phone and they wont answer any phone calls because the number they provided is disconnected and I have sent numerous emails without a reply. I went on Decluttr's website to see how much they would give me for an Iphone 11 and a 4 generation Ipad Air. The website said the Iphone was worth $215 and the Ipad was worth $270. I processed the items on their website and received two packing list for the items. The lists had separate order numbers. They were for the Ipad Air 4 it was ******* and for the Iphone 11 it was *******. I received the $215 for the Iphone but didn't see the $270 for the Ipad Air 4. They keep telling me I didn't send a second package. Both the items were in the same box. The box weight 2lb 4.2oz. It certainly would not of weight that much if I only sent an Iphone 11.Business Response

The company quoted $ in exchange for 3 old cellular phones. I shipped the phones. They downgraded one of the phones and mailed me a small check. For months on end, I inquired about the other 2 phones. The company took zero responsibility. After 18 months of emails, an employee gave me a *** tracking #. Order 1387962 was made for 1 device valued at $10. The device arrived and was not the model described, therefore we could not accept this. As a result, the item was shipped back to you via *** with the tracking number provided. This was sent to the address on your order, which is on Walnut Street.
We received no correspondence to indicate the address had changed prior to returning this.
Order 1370336 was made for 1 device valued at $9. This failed our quality assessment and was therefore revised to $1.50 which you accepted, and so was paid.
Two other items arrived under this order, which were not listed.
As per our terms and conditions, which must be agreed to prior to placing an order with us, For items that fail the Quality Assessment Process (see section below titled "Selling Your Stuff Quality Assessment") or that have not been included in your relevant online transaction (e.g., they have not been valued using Decluttrs online valuation engine and made a part of the sale you have submitted and agreed to), SUCH ITEMS CANNOT BE RETURNED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES AND WILL BE DISPOSED OF BY DECLUTTR.

As previously advised, we have 2 orders on our system under your name, both only containing 1 item. We do not have any record of an order which was placed containing 3 items on your account, and the 2 orders, ******* and ******* were for 1 item each.
Order ******* was revised due to the item being described as a Moto G6 Play, but the item we received was actually a ************ which had cracks to the glass, therefore we could not accept the item and offered to return it back. According to our systems this was returned to you to the address on your account via ***.
Tracking numbers only show results via *** for 120 days, and therefore it no longer shows as valid on their website, however we can assure you this was addressed correctly, and was never returned to us, as suggested by ***.
Nevertheless, we do understand the ongoing duration of this complaint, and we are happy to honour the $10 originally quoted for this device.
Order ******* was for 1 item, valued at $9, and you accepted our reduced price that was presented.
I understand you also send in 2 other items via this order number, however these items were not listed on the order, and we have no record of you valuing these devices via our system.
Any technical items which are sent in, and are not included on any order will be disposed of, and under no circumstances will we return these to the customer. This is explained within our terms and conditions, and you have agreed to these terms at the time of placing an order with us.

We are very sorry for any confusion, however the 2 devices you are referring to have been disposed of, as they were not listed on any orders which were sent to us, and therefore we were not liable for any value of these items. Our **************** Team indicated these had been returned, however the tracking provided was associated with order 1387962, which had the device that was revised due to the item being described as a Moto G6 Play, but the item we received was actually a ************ which had cracks to the glass, therefore we could not accept the item and offered to return it back. According to our systems this was returned to you to the address on your account via ***.
Tracking numbers only show results via *** for 120 days, and therefore it no longer shows as valid on their website, however we can assure you this was addressed correctly, and was never returned to us, as suggested by ***.We have issued the full original valuation for this item as a gesture of goodwill for the inconvenience caused.
The other 2 items you are chasing us regarding will not be made, nor returned, as you did not list them on any of your orders, and sent them as additional items.

I am very impressed that the presence of the BBB causes Decluttr to use the words "we are very sorry". in the very long time that I have been corresponding with at least 7 customer service agents, not one has been kind or decent and not a one has ever used those words. In fact, one employee told me to stop emailing her.
A *** tracking # was provided and yes, it was beyond 120 days and information was no longer available on their website but unlike Decluttr, I was able to have *** Customer Service provide the information to me explaining that the company sent the package to the WRONG ADDRESS. I did not change my addy, I did not receive the package. I gave Decluttr the name of the person who received the package.
I certainly did list the 2 missing items on my original order. Otherwise, I would not have an original quote for the 3 cellular telephones.

We have reviewed this matter at length, and are unable to locate any orders on the customers account where they listed 3 items for sale.
As advised, the tracking provided was for an order which was listed to contain 1 item, which was revised in price and declined. This was then returned, however we have honoured the original price for this order due to the inconvenience faced.
We have no record of an order which contained 3 items listed, and received 3 items under an order number which only had 1 item valued.
Please provide us with a copy of your order confirmation, alongside your welcome pack which displays the order number, and the 3 items listed and valued under this.
We only have 2 orders under the customers details, both of which were for 1 item each.
Once we have been provided with a copy of the order confirmation showing that 3 items were valued and listed prior to sending, we can look into this further.
