            I submitted an application for an apartment at Battle Creek Village through their website. The site said the apartment would be available on June 12, 2021. I paid the application fee of $502.95. Two days later, I was told the date on their website was incorrect and I would not be able to move until June 21, 2021. I needed to be out of my resident at that time by June 14, 2021. I spoke with the leasing agent Shonie Bailey and told her I could not wait until the 21st of June. I told her I would have to find another place if I couldn't move in on June 12th. I was mislead by their advertised move-in date of June 12, 2021. I have an email from the leasing office informing me of the date change. I believe they deliberately took my money knowing I if I could not move in, they could keep my deposit and application fee. I was told they would refund $250. and they will keep the application fee.
