Definitely bias the leasing agent ******** ale man chose & pick who they allow to lease the property. Leasing decisions are not made fair and based off of qualifications. I definitely make more than 3xs the rent. Dont have any criminal history,no evictions ,& meet all the requirements. I submitted application on 4/13/2024 for ******** 3 bedroom for the $99 special they advertised, & still as of today havent heard anything. Ive visited the location they are very rude will see people waiting will not ask or greet customers or ask do you need assistance. Walk right by . I had to keep going to there office Never gave an update wither I was approved or denied . Kept saying my documents needed to be reviewed . Why ? When I submitted them though snappet which reviews and verified PDF documents? I spoke with ***************************** multiple times about my application status because I was trying to move 4/27/2024 she said she would call me to update the status of my application never did, she called me once and told they needed more proof of my income since Im a car sales man and paid base pay +commission so my income is any were between ****** ******* or higher yearly I provided bank statements as well showing I make more than enough as well since she said they would have to maybe denied me & go with that I only make $****** like how your going to just decide thats what I make and Ive provided proof with an offer letter and bank statements showing deposits ? So I submitted more income since I doordash & I am a full time student as well and received student loan payout quarterly .She said she would contact me to provide a definite answer and never did. I fairly believe they were just telling me LIES so I would eventually stop coming to there office and trying to contact them and apply some were else because they didnt want to allow me to lease a unit but I will be seeking a lawsuit for discrimination. I paid my money provided more than enough income and was never even given a fair reply or answer because there isnt one they are just bias and pick and choose who they want to allow in the unit. I was even sent emails to pay a deposit and 1st month rent as well.Visited the office and asked her does this mean Im approved ? Do I need to go ahead and pay she said no your documents still in review . Ill call you never did Just LIE LIE LIE. I will be contacting her boss as well . Ive called they dont answer the phones. I also witness while I was there a resident a/c unit needed fixing she told him he just needs to be patient and wait !! Very rudely !!! Take your money elsewhere I advise you . I went again on 4/30/24 spoke with another leasing agent she said she couldnt help me or tell me anything cause she wasnt over my file she had her own files . I asked could I speak to the person who is over everyone she said she wasnt there . Left another message for ******** she never called me or responded .Just a waste of my $100 dollars .Definitely isnt fair or right !!! LIARS & very RUDE!!Initial Complaint

Dear BBB,I am writing to file a complaint against Rosemont ****** regarding a refund request and application status issue. On 2/14/2024 I paid a holding fee of $1105 to Rosemont for an apartment rental. However, I later decided not to proceed with the rental and requested a refund of the holding fee.Despite multiple attempts to communicate with Rosemont, including speaking with *****, the leasing team, and the owner I have not received a satisfactory response or a refund. I have also contacted all leasing agents, property managers, etc., via the residential portal, but to no avail.I believe that my request for a refund is valid, as I am still able to log in to the residential portal and have attached a screenshot for your review. Moreover, I have read the Georgia Tenant Handbook and understand that it is illegal to take a holding fee and move-in fees from an applicant without approval.Given my current financial situation and the need to find alternative accommodation for myself and my son, I kindly request that the refund of $1105 be processed immediately. This amount was taken out of my account immediately, and I am in urgent need of these funds.I am also requesting a second chance due to my credit challenges resulting from a recent bad marriage. I applied for an apartment at Rosemont Berkeley Lake in ******, ** at the end of May/ early June. I decided to pursue another property so a refund in the amount of $200 was issued to me via check. The first check I deposited at the **** The *** would not scan the check. Keep in mind I've never had an *** not be able to scan the check. On 6/21/23 I received a letter from **** of America stating the check was returned. I went by the leasing office and was told the reason the check was returned was because of a signature issue. A new check was issued. This time I personally took the check into a ******************** They told me they were not able to cash the check. They did not provide a reason, but something went wrong because the bank teller had to call a manager and pull the manager to the side to discuss in private. I deposited the check into my **** of America account. Again, I received a letter on 7/6/23 stating the check was returned. On 7/19/23 I went by the office again and was told the issue has been resolved. I provided my new apartment address and was told another check would be issued to me. As of today 8/9/23, exactly 3 weeks later I have not received a check for the $200 owed to me. At this point I would rather Rosemont at Berkeley Lake Apartments or whoever owns them, supposedly KRE Rose ***** LLC, direct deposit the money into my bank account or mail me a check overnight. I can't even find any contact info for KRE Rose ***** LLC. The info on the check shows ********************************************************************. So you have a property management company with no contact info online and 2 checks that have been returned. This is very unprofessional.Initial Complaint

This entire rental process was more stressful than it needed to be. I am in the process of moving from ** to GA. I stressed this multiple times in my email correspondence with Mr. ******************** our leasing agent. My sister lives in Lawrenceville. She went to see the apartment with the ****** app. We loved the apartment and decided to apply online. My sister was my co-applicant.I applied immediately to apt #****, on December 4, 2022. ************ sent me an email on December 5th to send over my paystubs.I immediately sent over my stubs on December 6th. On December 9th, I was clear in email to ************** that my sister would send her paystubs later on during the week. She was having issues accessing her VA stubs, since she is a Vet, she had to contact her main offices to get her paperwork. She sent her stubs over on December 10th at 11am.In that email, I asked ************** if there was anything that I could do to expedite the application.I emailed on December 10th and 12th to find out the status of my application. This was 6 days after I submitted my application. ************** got back to me on December 13th stating that my sister didn't send over her income details. I asked my sister and she sent me the screenshot of the email she sent with her stubs, on December 10th. He asked us to send it again. December 13th she sent it over again.I called on December 16th again. ************** states he didn't receive my any of my sister's emails. He then told me something about my sister's rental history that he should've called HER to ask. I'm not sure about her history, we live in different states. When I mentioned this to her, she was livid because ************** refuses to reach out to my sister, which has delayed the application.I called the office multiple times and no one would answer the calls. Any time I actually was able to reach **************, I got new information. I had to pull the information from him. There was no effective communication at all. He never followed up with me or my sister after visiting the complex either. I felt lost and in the dark with this process. This was completely unprofessional.Initial Complaint

Management had been made aware of water leak and mold problem in unit in august. I went to the leasing office in person multiple times a week and the attempted repairs by their staff only worsened the leak causeing there to be multiple leaks. There was an awful smell from the mold and the water was all over the floor daily. The water posed a slipping hazzard which I expressed as a concern for my disabled child. We had the leaking for over a month and they have yet to resolve the issue as of december. I had mold growing on the ceiling and wall connecting to my closet. The floor in my closet begain to mold my personal belonging such as luggage clothes and shoes. I am still paying full price as when my unit was functional and the living conditions tragic.
