1 starSpent about $5k on new flooring at a ************* (FND) store in here in *****. FND promotes and recommends using Installation Made Easy (IME) to install their floors and has some sort of arrangement with them. Had the living room, foyer, hallway, and utility room redone with one of FND's highest rated luxery vinyl flooring products. Only 2-3 weeks after install (winter), had a pin size leak in water pipe under the foundation of the house. Plumber had to go through foundation in hallway to access and repair leak. No water ever entered the house and only about a 7ft x 2ft area of the floor was pulled up by the plumbers, with the hole in foundation being only around 1ft x 2ft. I called IME to see if they would come out and quote me on finishing out the hallway again and was willing to pay for it out-of-pocket. After numerous calls, I finally had my original installer come back out to survey it, and they never contacted me again. After numerous more calls and no response from installer, I called IME back and requested a different installer. They also came out and then never returned my calls. I then called IME over a dozen times but never had a manager return my calls. About 6 months later, about a 10ft continuous strip of flooring came unlocked/unfastened. Called IME more times. They then stated that, because of the plumbing leak, my 1 year warranty was void in its entirety. I argued that the flooring in the living room had nothing to do with the flooring in the hallway and, in additional, the original installers trim work was coming unnailed from baseboards for 3rd time (they had previously come out to address this issue before my plumbing leak). It was sloppy work on the trim as they were haphazardly secured it with a nail gun that sometimes made no through connection. Still cannot get management to return calls. Next step I plan to take is small claims court if not resolved soon. Now just over 1 year in, we've had a decent looking floor for only 2 weeks.Installation Made Easy, Inc.

The customer confirmed that there was a water leak causing moisture. Any excess moisture such as a leak does void the installation warranty held by the Provider. Due to the moisture concerns that occurred after the installation IME would not hold the installer accountable to correct concerns at no additional charge. We notified the customer of this information when called into IME in January of 2023. No prior communication had been attempted by the customer to contact IME since the ****************** was completed in March of 2022.Review fromT. P.

1 starI used Installations Made Easy to tile my master bath floor and shower. The did a good job - 4 years later it looks great. However, during the same project they put new tile down on the kitchen/laundry/powder room floors. Within a month the grout on the kitchen floor began to break up. I called my sales rep who came out and they patched 10 different spots where the grout had already come out. Within another three or four months of that, there were at least another 10 grout spots broken and now I had three places where the tile was also broken. These were 12 x 24 ************* ceramic tiles. That was right at the beginning of Covid so we didnt address it just because of the world was in a weird place and having contractors in your house didnt seem like a good idea. Fast forward, three years later, there are now more than a dozen broken tiles and I would call the kitchen flooring a complete failure. Installation Made Easy admitted they used the wrong adhesive to put the tile down with the ******** DITRAmat Uncoupling Membrane and thats why it failed. But now theyre hiding behind a warranty period saying its been too long and theyre not willing to work with me to replace it. They knew and admitted within a few months of the floor being laid that the had used the wrong material, and thats why it was failing, I offered to buy the tile ($1,400) if they would pay for the other materials and labor to redo their mistake and theve gone radio silence on **** would not recommend them because they dont stand behind their work.Installation Made Easy, Inc.

First, I apologize for the experience that you have had with our service on your installation that was completed in 2019. Installation Made Easy backs the installation warranty that is held directly by the provider for a 12 month installation warranty. It does not look like you have reached out regarding any installation concerns during the warranty time period or after to assist. The provider had let us know that they have been working with you regarding the concerns and are waiting to hear back from you regarding proceeding with the installation. Because the installation warranty expired in 2019, you will need to continue to work with the installer to resolve the concerns. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.T. P.

Apparently you misread my review. "Within a month the grout on the kitchen floor began to break up. I called my sales rep who came out and they patched 10 different spots where the grout had already come out. They installer came out within 3 months of install and acknowledged the problem. I did reach out which is contrary to your third sentence. I did reach out to my sales rep and we met, had multiple conversations and text messages. That's where I learned they'd used the wrong adhesive to lay the tile down on the DITRAmat. He told me that he was working with Installations Made Easy to resolve the issue. I've been trying to reach him and when he ghosted me I decided to write the review. They are not waiting on me. In fact, it's the exact opposite. They are ghosting me. If you'd like, I'm happy to share the contact details of my sales ********** happy to share the text conversations if you need further proof of the timing and all that was done before the warranty period.I am getting the impression that you are now separating Installations Made Easy from the installer as if they are not connected. This customer made IME aware of concerns on 8/15/2022 stating damage had been done to the home during the installation that needed to be addressed (damage to an internet connect plug) - we reached out to the customer on 8/15 to discuss the issues and the customer let us know at that time that the repairs had been completed and that the final balance would be submitted because they were overseas and not able to complete the payment over the phone. We closed the claim as the customer confirmed the repairs were completed. Installation Made Easy has not had any further communications with this customer since 8/15/2022. No payments were ever received by Installation Made Easy from this customer.Review fromJennifer H

1 starIf I could give 0 stars I would. I've NEVER written a negative review here, but if I could save someone else from my mistake I would. The contractor recommended to me uses Installation made easy. I wrote a $5500 check to the company for down payment which they deposited through Installation Made Easy the next day via ACH transaction. THEN-the flooring installer (*********, **** **) cashed the check again, so $11k out of my account in less than a week. ********* couldn't remember what happened to the check, so they told me it was stolen. I had to close my primary checking account where ALL my monthly bills are withdrawn. Today is March 22, and I still do not have the refund. Installation Made Easy did not notify me of failed refund transaction March 9, but their representatives kept telling me the tired excuse of **** business days. Then when I figured out what had happened, they would mail the check. Now they're telling me the checks only process on Fridays. Unacceptable. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY OR FLOOR ONE. Floor and Decor should not recommend these people.Installation Made Easy, Inc.

1 starHorrible customer service. If there are any issues with your install, they just bounce you around voice mails and try to avoid providing a remedy or refund. ***** uses them for some install jobs and you get stuck with IME if you go through Lowes.Installation Made Easy, Inc.

Our records show that our providers attempted to reach you on the phone number that was provided on multiple occasions with no response or call back. 1 starI wish I could give a one-star rating. The actual contractor we were referred to was awesome. This third-party connection company (Installation Made Easy just connects you to contractors and acts as a middleman for the paperwork) was terrible to deal with. I signed the contract, got the job done, made the final payment and then the calls about "activating" my warranty started. The caller purporting to be Floor and Decor insisted I sign a "complete" statement whereby, in my opinion, it lessoned the warranty. Essentially, the only warranty made in the initial contract is that the work is completed in a ******* like fashion. The completion paperwork forces the consumer to agree the work was satisfactorily completed. I will not know if it falls apart or cracks for many months. I told the company numerous times to stop calling me and that I had made final payment and I was not signing the "completion" paperwork. I explained I didn't need to "activate" my warranty because it was already active in the original contract. Two representatives told me the calls would not stop until I signed the paperwork. Another representative told me the contractor could not get final payment until I signed. I explained to the representative that the payment was taken from me over a month ago and I had no obligation to agree to wave part of my warranty to get the calls to stop. So far I am at 17 calls and counting. I will be filing a lawsuit if the calls do not stop. Hopefully my calls will stop or I can help other consumers from being tricked into signing away part of their warranty under the guise of "activating" a warranty (my opinion).Installation Made Easy, Inc.

1 starI don't even want to give 1 start. Worst experience ever with Installation Made Easy supporting ********* Services. They are confusing about what needs to be done (e.g., there were two documents that needed signed and not just the one - not clear at all!), don't document anything you submit, don't make sure submitted paperwork is attached to your account, then harass you with phone calls and emails. Then, they threaten you with "collections". Terrible leadership, and yet there are a few nice folks on the phone. Expect nothing positive from them and you'll be just fine.Installation Made Easy, Inc.

1 starIME - ******** - We hired ******* Flooring Installations, **** to install our Nucore flooring what a mess. We met with him back in April, 2022; as of November 11, 2022, we STILL do not have our floors installed. He incorrectly told us we did not need a vapor barrier; both Floor and Dcor and an independent floor installation company contradicted him. ****************** continued to tell us that Floor and Dcor and the independent company were WRONG. We bought two carpet dryers, two dehumidifiers; have tried to get the humidity down to an impossible level FOR SEVEN MONTHS NOW.extremely high electric bills due to running the fans/dehumidifiers/heater to try to reach a 2.5 5% humidity level when the reality is we are never going to reach that level, it needs a vapor barrier. Please see below; this is the email I sent to Floor and Dcor; again, see that they directly contradicted ******************. waiting and waiting ********** Questions 1 Questions Tab Panel 1.waiting and waiting 17 hours ago installer said we don't need the 6 mm vapor barrier; our subfloor isn't going below 7 - 8% moisture; we were told by another company in ******** floors **** moisture out of the air; that we're at as low a moisture reading as possible.?1answer 1.ncanyon 5 hours ago Although NuCore Cabinwood is waterproof, it is not to be used as a moisture barrier. The subfloor must be dry **** 2.5% moisture content - CM method) per the manufacture's guidelines. If these requirements are not met a 6 mil polyfilm vapor barrier should be used. Please follow all manufacture's guidelines to avoid any risk of a voided warranty.PLEASE EDUCATE ***************************** REGARDING UTILIZATION OF VAPOR BARRIERSAND THE INAPPROPRIATENESS OF REQUIRING CUSTOMERS TO LIVE WITH SUBFLOORING FOR SEVEN MONTHS.
