1 starI was victim of a telephone scam on 8/6/25 utilizing Bitcoin Depot. Fortunately, Bitcoin Depot was able cancel one of the transactions in time and promised me a refund check of that amount within 30 days. Now, I have been calling on a weekly basis and Bitcoin Depot has been giving me the runaround, promising that the check has been approved but not sent yet. And then they wanted me to email a copy of my ID only after I called 3 weeks after the incident. There is no communication from them, only if I call them and ask, yet the answer is the same week after week. Now we are left with the thought that Bitcoin Depot is likely scamming us and won't send us the money as promised-there is an excuse every single time we call why it has not been sent. They refuse to let us speak to upper management after multiple requests and we were hung up on today by the representative.Review fromVicki B

Bitcoin Depot has no affiliation with the individuals who scammed ************* and we expressly deny any wrongdoing in fulfilling her order. We are sorry to learn that this consumer was dissatisfied with her overall Bitcoin Depot experience. When a transaction is initiated at one of our kiosks, the amount of cryptocurrency that will be received in exchange for the amount of cash inserted is clearly displayed on the screen. This amount includes all applicable fees, and prior to processing, the customer must agree to our terms and conditions and confirm the transaction. The ability to cancel the transaction is available at any time prior to reaching the confirmation screen. More information regarding our fees can be found at ************************************************************; Ms. ****** walked up to a kiosk and placed an order. She selected the wallet address that she wanted the cryptocurrency that she ordered to be sent. She paid for that order, and we filled the order accordingly. Our terms and conditions were clearly defined prior to the completion of the transaction. We expressly deny any wrongdoing with regard to fulfilling the order. Thank you!Review fromKayla B

1 star**WARNING: AVOID BITCOIN DEPOT AND THEIR KIOSKS**I want to share my experience with Bitcoin Depot and strongly urge anyone considering their services to think twice. While their kiosks advertise a $3 transaction fee, this is misleading. Many users, including myself, assume the displayed amount reflects what will be credited to their wallets. After inserting $200, I was shocked to receive only $139an astonishing 31% loss!Bitcoin Depot seems to rely on the assumption that most customers wont double-check the *** amount displayed. They present information in a way that can easily lead you to believe youre getting a fair deal, but hidden fees often result in significant financial ********* protect yourself, always verify the *** amount displayed before finalizing your transaction. A quick online search for "*** to USD" can help confirm if youre being shortchanged.Additionally, starting July 1, 2024, the Honest Pricing Law (SB 478) will make it illegal for businesses to advertise prices without including all required fees. This raises serious questions about Bitcoin Depots pricing practices. While they claim that fees are clearly displayed and customers must agree to their terms, this does not absolve them of responsibility for the confusion many users face. In conclusion, if you use Bitcoin Depot, be cautious. Protect your hard-earned money and consider alternative services to avoid hidden fees and deceptive practices. Your financial security is essential, so stay informed.Bitcoin Depot Operating, LLC

1 starBitcoin Depot is a total scam. After depositing $2,200, only $1,500 showed up in my account. After talking to a representative they explained that the $700 missing went to fees. Nowhere during the process of using the *** were these fees described clearly. Instead it listed that the fee was for $3 USD. It seems that they are there only for laundering money, because that is the only use that it could be good for. It makes much more sense to deposit the cash into your bank account first and then sending it to your Bitcoin account. Avoid it all costs!Bitcoin Depot Operating, LLC

1 starThey use deceptive marketing and business practices to lure you into using the *** as a quick and easy way to buy bitcoin and then they steal your money by only showing you the balance you are buying in bitcoin (which is volatile and changes from day to day) and give you a small amount. Someone needs to regulate these guys or throw them in jail. What a horrible thing to do to people.Bitcoin Depot Operating, LLC
