    I contracted with Improveitatl to install a new roof in August ****. The roof is leaking at the seams and has damaged my Sheetrock. I contacted Improveitatl and was told that it was not their fault. A leak would have shown up before then. Really subpar material and poor craftsmanship can take a little longer on a roof to appear. Plus, no one from Improveitatl has come by to inspect my roof to access the issue. so how can she tell me its not their fault: The lady I spoke with at Improveitatl told me roof repairs are only performed on Fridays and Saturdays but she cant tell me what day the technician will come to look at my roof. The cost of a trip is $100. I was told I would get a call but I have not. When Improveitatl was trying to win my business to install the roof, the called excessively and rung my doorbell uninvited.. Now I cant get any communication.

    I contracted with Improveitatl to install a new roof in August 2000.

    ANSWER: The actual install date was 9/1/2020

    The roof is leaking at the seams and has damaged my Sheetrock. I contac*** Improveitatl and was told that it was not their fault. A leak would have shown up before then. Really subpar material and poor craftsmanship can take a little longer on a roof to appear. Plus, no one from Improveitatl has come by to inspect my roof to access the issue. so how can she tell me its not their fault:

    ANSWER: I would never tell a customer that it is not our fault- what I did say was  "That I was sorry for any inconvenience and "Had it been an installation/workmanship problem the leak would have occurred within the first year."  

    The lady I spoke with at Improveitatl told me roof repairs are only performed on Fridays and Saturdays but she cant tell me what day the technician will come to look at my roof.

    ANSWER: **** services are only done on Fridays and Saturdays due to installations during the week. I explained to the homeowner that the service professional would call her to confirm the day and time.

    ANSWER: The customer hasn't given ********************** a chance to do the service. The customer sent a text to the office on Monday August 7, 2023 at 6;37pm and 6:42pm *(two different methods- *NEVER CALLED) , I called her back after receiving the messages the same day to discuss her concern @ 7:16pm (the office was closed). Within 72 hours she's filing a complaint. - WHY?

    This customer hasn't given ********************** an opportunity to schedule or inspect the roof. As with many businesses appointments are at least a week out  or more!  

    I have attached the message with date and times -

    ImproveIt of Atlanta would still like to schedule a time to inspect the roof and if the leak is roof related- the repair will be done.

    I am rejecting this response because:
    1) My roof is less than 3 years old and leaking in the valley. I have no idea of how long this has occurred because the water was to come through my roof, installation, and Sheetrock to be visible. I have no idea what damages and mold that could be in my attic.   Poor workmanship and quality can take more than 1 year to appear especially for a leak in the roof. 

    2) I agree with businesses being 3 weeks out but I still dont have an appointment.. But when they were trying to win my business they called multiple times a day. How long should I wait for a response.

    Better Business Bureau:

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. 

    According to the installer, the shingles were lifted when I had my house painted 3 years ago. The work of installer was done correctly. .The roofers sealed the area because the caulking was broken. Thanks for the quick follow up and resolution
