      ?? DO NOT LEASE HERE READ THIS IF YOU VALUE YOUR MONEY AND PEACE ??I gave a proper, written 60-day notice, as clearly required by the lease agreement. My lease ends September 21st, so I submitted my notice on time with documentation and even a certified letter. And yet, the Avenues at Carrollton are trying to illegally charge me a $1,300 lease termination fee for a termination that never happened.Let me be clear:-I paid June rent on June 28th -I paid July rent early on July 1st -I paid August rent early on July 9th -My rent is always paid early, never late and my credit reflects that -Ive received no itemized explanation, just an automated notice and a new balance thrown on my ledger out of nowhere They are trying to gaslight me and double charge me after Ive already paid thousands ahead of time. There is no lease termination only a written, documented 60-day notice as required BY THEIR OWN LEASE. The law in ***** only requires 30 days, but I still honored their ****** they want to ignore the lease, ignore the law, and hit me with false charges? Unacceptable. Whats worse is that when I needed maintenance, they were unreachable, but the moment I turned in my notice suddenly, they had time to harass me with emails.This is predatory, unethical, and illegal. All communication is being documented, and I will be escalating this to:-the *********************** Office -HUD -the Better Business Bureau -and possibly small claims court if needed This complex is unprofessional, deceptive, and financially abusive. Do not rent here unless youre ready to fight to keep your own money. And no Im not made of money, and Im not about to let yall play with what I work hard for. I will not be paying a dime more.

      During the pandemic, I got pneumonia after contacting COVID and got sick. I ended up getting diagnosed with Lupus throughout this ordeal. Luckily, Clark County had a rental assistance program and I was told that I was qualified due to the circumstances. The case manager requested that I submit certain documents, reach out to my landlord to do the same, and my application would be processed. Once my application was approved, I saw the approval amount was for my utilities only. Apparently the landlord forgot to submit proof of payment to the county, so they were unable to issue payment. I have emails confirming all this information. I went to the court, I tried everything but was told there are no protections in place for this type of issue. the ********** admitted to submitting the documents 18 days later, acknowledging their error. The company was sold, as was my debt, and it is accruing interest on my credit for a balance I should not be responsible for. I am disabled, now on dialysis, and cannot move due to this issue. i contacted Clark County, the **********, the new company, and a few lawyers and no one could help me. Since the organization was sold, another company is attempting to collect money I dont have for rent I should not have to pay.

      To Whom It May Concern,I am writing to formally document an ongoing maintenance issue that has remained unresolved since June 13, 2025. On that date, I submitted a work order regarding my dryer, which remains non-functional as of today, June 25, 2025.On June 13, I informed both the manager and property manager that my original work order was marked as complete despite no one ever entering my apartment to address the issue. I resubmitted the work order on June 15.After eight days without an update, I received a reply on June 23 from the property manager, stating that the delay was due to short staffing. This was upsetting because I had been waiting over a week with no communication, despite the clear urgency of my request.On June 23, I went to the leasing office in person and recorded two videos during my visit. In those videos, I can be seen respectfully demanding an immediate resolution, explaining that I would not leave until I received clear answers. They called the police on me twice because I was in a abusive behavior I want to emphasize that I reside on the third floor and am currently 18 weeks pregnant, with a documented medical restriction against carrying heavy items.Despite these circumstances, I was advised to take my laundry to a laundromat, and promised a concession. However, this suggestion is both medically and ethically inappropriate, as I am physically unable to transport heavy laundry due to my pregnancy and disability.This situation has caused me undue stress, hardship, and health concerns, and I believe it may fall under potential Fair Housing violations for failure to accommodate my pregnancy and disability.

      I am a tenant at the Retreat at ******************* in **********. I am writing this letter to submit a formal complaint regarding maintenance issues as well as communication with the front office.We have lived here almost two years. That entire time, we've had a severe problem with maintenance. It's nearly impossible to get a technician here. It's constant. It's stressful. It's time consuming. I've had ********* only one of numerous examples, I had a refrigerator leaking water and it took them over 6 months to address it. I made multiple requests online and in person. They finally fixed it, and a clogged sink, yesterday. Last night, the washer broke. It's fairly new. Who knows how long that will take. When they power wash, bleach water comes through the windows and front door. I told them last year, they promised that tape would be put up next time. It wasn't and it happened again. It got on shoes and my daughter's school work. I could go on and on...I'm a solo single mother on disability due to two health conditions. The stress this is causing is starting to affect me physically. I would never recommend this complex to anyone. Unfortunately, our lease does not expire until Dec 31st.       In 2010 I moved from ******* to Mt. Pleasant, **. The managers of the ******************* complex were wonderful people. They were organized, caring and transparent and paid attention to detail. This is the original company that took first AND last months rent when we moved in.After wed been there for a few years, the property was sold to a company that was nothing special. They did their job, but the caring and transparency, the attention to detail was gone. They collected the rent, and kept up the grounds nothing more.Around 2018 or so, yet another company took over the property. The complex began to suffer immediately. There was little organization, and absolutely nothing to recommend that place. I was constantly receiving someone elses bill, or getting a late charge because to their own admission their website didnt work properly. Then the pandemic hit, and just when we thought the mess at Edgewater couldnt get any worse, it did. People were moving out in ******, and the state of the property plummeted. By the time we decided to move, the place was a disaster. People were just showing things onto the breezeways and leaving.I have tried to contact the apartment complex, but it has since changed hands one again, and is now closed permanently, as it says on the website. No one answers the phone or emails. There seems to be nobody in this ridiculous chain to contact to resolve this matter. So here it sits, unresolved forever!I have perfect credit at least I did until these people got involved. But I will take a hit to my credit rather than pay someone $800 that I dont owe. However, my apartment-mate, who was also on the lease can NOT afford to have her credit ****** conclusion, I do NOT owe these people any money, and I will not be paying them any money. This is final! THIS IS FRAUD, PURE AND SIMPLE!

      On 04/17/2025 my pay roll deposit was not what I was suppose to see. Carroll's llc is in a agreement with pay activ.Employees use the services to ****** cash when need.But the cash employees ****** comes out directly for the week from which the employee ****** in or threw.Well my H.r or pay activ just jepordy my attendance.Someone didn't pay or take the ****** money I ****** directly out which is H.r job to do so. Now I have trouble getting to and from work. I work for a *********** in Ft.****** kentucky. I get off work at midnight have to walk over to *******/****************** because I now have no money to get home or to work due to the mistake that pay activ or my h.r has made. What I am asking it that someone be held accountable for theu actions and everyday that I don't make it to work that I don't lose my job and they give me every hour that I schedule to work just because of this mistake. My H.r hasn't contact me with no kind of resolution to this matter. It's been since 4/18/2025 since I left voice mail with my h.r to contact me and no one has contacted me from my h.r.

      This people is charging me$463 for an application to rent an apartment I disputed trough my bank got temporarily credit but they charged me again Its for rent an apartment but when I went to see the apartment was disguising full of roaches garbage everywhere and I decided to no rent the apartment and they denied to refund my money its the condition of the apartments make rent at another place.

      The date of the transaction was on March ******.The Amount paid was $380.00 The nature of the dispute is, I paid with intent to move to the apartments, unfortunate circumstances came up and I wasnt able to move, I have been calling since March 6, 2025 and have personally went to the property as well as called the corporate only to be pushed away or talked to rudely. The business has not tried to resolve my issues at all.

      I lived at The Five by Arium in ****************. I lived there in Fall 2019- Fall 2020. They recently sent me to collections for $60 dollars even though when I moved out we were in disputes about them owing me money, so that is why I didn't pay my final bill. I tried to settle with them but was never given response. This apartment complex carelessly discarded my crucial work package, mistaking it for expired food. The shipping cost alone amounted to $130, and the package contained medical device materials and marketing materials valued at over $500. Consequently, I had to incur additional expenses to send a replacement package, and my company reprimanded me for the loss of product.Upon moving out, I attempted to seek reimbursement from the apartment complex but was unsuccessful in obtaining payment for the package they had thrown away. However, after they charged me after my departure, I informed them that I would not pay since they still owed me money. I proposed a settlement, suggesting that they refrain from further payment in exchange for my agreement to not pursue legal action.The value of my items far exceeded the amount I owed them. Surprisingly, I received no further communication from the apartment complex until now, when I am being sent to collections. I had assumed that we had reached an agreement to let the matter go, given the lack of *********** is worth noting that the apartment complex is no longer owned by Arium. Furthermore, the living conditions during my tenure were appalling. I have attached a compressed file of emails between me and management, detailing our discussions regarding the outstanding debt. Additionally, I have numerous photographs and videos documenting other issues that occurred during my stay, including a gunshot incident on New Years Eve on the floor I occupied. I vacated the premises a month earlier than my lease expiration. I kindly request that you remove this item from my credit report.
