1 starCalled Orkin in ************ to take care of a spider problem. They checked our attic and told me we had a rodent infestation and that I needed to remove the insulation and then they would put new in all for the price of $10K. I knew that didn't sound right. I called two other companies that told me we do not have a rodent infestation. Later to do a quick ****** search and find that this is their go to method. Such a shame to find what I thought was a reputable company, be shady like this. Do ************* I found online:Orkin - Dishonest, and I feel taken advantage of I had Orkin come to my house on March 13th after spotting a mouse inside. When the technician arrived, he caused me a lot of stress by claiming that I had a mouse infestation and recommending that I remove all the insulation in my attic and replace it with their own. He pointed to what he claimed were tracks left by the mice in my insulation, saying there were a lot of them. The proposed solution was going to cost me over $10,****** wife wasnt comfortable with this, so we decided to get a second opinion. Orkin charged me $270 for their visit, but all they did was place four poison traps for the mice. A second expert I called out was extremely honest and thoroughhe walked through the entire house with me and showed me that the so-called "tracks" were actually just marks from the electrical wiring in the attic, not mouse trails. Turns out, I didnt have a mouse infestation at all.I contacted Orkin to complain and was told a manager would call me back the same day, but its been three days and Im still waiting for a response. I am demanding a refund. Orkins tactics were deceptive, and they tried to upsell me on unnecessary services. After I refused the $10,000 quote to replace the insulation, the technician called me back three times, and on the third call, he offered to do the work for just over $9,000. 1 starMy service technician GP was terrific, the ant pest problem improved but is not gone after over a year. However, the billing department over bills beyond the contracted amount. I had easy pay set up for over a year for a same monthly fee. But each time I called the ***** number to change the technician's visit day, the automated system would say "You have an unpaid balance." ***** billed above and beyond the contracted easy pay but never ever alerted me. The double billed for a service that I was already paying for. It is still happening and the ***** customer service talks in circles about how they did the math wrong. I have spent hours on hold. No help. Nothing gets resolved. I was told to cancel easy pay and to just pay be check each month to help resolve the problem. It didn't make sense but I did according to their advice. Now I get monthly statements in the mail for much more than the contracted monthly easy pay amount! They said to remove easy pay only to find that now they bill even more. There was no price break to use easy pay anyway. So I am canceling all ***** services because of the billing department shenanigans trying to overbill in a very sneaky way. But they will never resolve the problem. They raised the rate and double billed for a service that was already included in the signed contract. Now they say, "we can't see the contract anymore since you removed easy pay." It's insane. THEY TOLD ME TO REMOVE EASY PAY. Choose another company. The ***** billing seems quite fraudulent. They actually said: "Someone did the math wrong." So this is their justification to bill me more. Sounds like a scam to overbill. 1 starTakes money and does not provide services. ***** to rip off customers. Have not refunded money that I am due. Two incidents happened In May 2024. Orkin came for a termite inspection as they had for the past 34 years. I was told I had a serious termite problem. The inspector called in for treatment, he was told there was no contract, even though he was there for an inspection. I was told it would cost $1,100 a month for treatment, which I refused. After I refused the $12,000 annual price, it dropped to about $8,000, then to around $3000 which I accepted from panic. I do not believe ***** honored their contract or properly inspected my house if I had that many termites. I purchased a Dry Zone Dehumidifier for $7,000. In May 2024, the humidity monitor showed high moisture. It took two months of repeated calls to get a response. They finally came, said the pump was not working well, and said they would replace it. I waited a monthno call. I called again, and finally someone told me the warranty had expired the previous week, but theyd see what they could do. I never heard back. If they had called back when I called, the warranty would not have expired, In June 2025, I got a letter to schedule a termite/Dry Zone inspection. The inspector said there were puddles of water; the pump was not working and needed replacing. I told him what had transpired the previous year. He said hed file a report and someone would call. I then received a text quoting $88/month for 5 years to fix the Dry Zone. I was told it would be a new unit, though Id been told earlier it was just the pump. I had not had the Dry Zone for five years. I refused to deal with them further. I also paid off the termite contract fully, but an extra autopay went through and I havent been refunded. Shortly before being told to buy a new Dry Zone, I paid $270.40 for renewal for 12 months. Now the unit is not working, I am due a refund. 1 starWhen I told them Terminix could do the job for 4 thousand they said they would do it for 3 grand. We decided to go with them because of that. Just got the bill and it's almost $6,000.00. BE CAREFUL DON'T TRUST THEMRollins, Inc.

1 starThis business give false hope. I was told that the problem would be solved after paying $2600 to get the insulation, they told me that they would retrieve the mouse traps if any were caught and would also come out every 6 months, which did not happen. Their promise was not kept.Rollins, Inc.

1 starTERRIBLE. No other word to describe our experience with Orkin. From the second I made the first phone call down to the last phone call to cancel service. Starting off, calling the phone number listed for the branch closest to our home I was transferred to a call center unbeknownst to me. During that phone call we were "scheduled" for our first inspection and service. After 2 hours of waiting during the allotted time frame we were given, no one showed. When I called again we were told we were never actually booked for that time and day. After MULTIPLE phone calls to resolve the issue and speaking to the branch manager. We were scheduled for inspection and first tx. After the first inspection and tx we were told someone would be out in a month for a f/u **. I asked about how this is scheduled to avoid the issue we had previously. I was informed that it would be scheduled for us and I could view the appointment in my account online. Fast forward a month, we had heard NOTHING about a scheduled apt, I attempted to access said account online with no such luck. Finally I called Orkin to schedule our follow up appointment, to learn that we had an appointment made for us that we were NEVER notified about. The next day I received phone calls from an unknown number who never left VM. After the 2nd call I answered to learn that we were scheduled for a termite inspection and this "pro" would be at our home in 15min again we were NEVER notified of this apt or that there was a concern for termites from our first apt.After all this for the issue to NEVER be taken care of. Last piece, I called to cancel services with Orkin after being fed up. I was told that we had an outstanding balance for mosquito treatment of our yard that I had to pay first. Our home was never treated for Mosquito's, in fact I told BOTH "pro's" that came to inspect and treat our home that we did not want our yard treated for Mosquito's.Review fromTyreia R

5 starsI've had Orkin for years and they do a really good job. Since I've used them ice seen little to no activity for bugs and mosquitos. If I need them between my spray session (which is every 3 mo for bugs and monthly for mosquitos.) they will come back out and spray again free of charge. Every person who has came and sprayed my home has be nothing but amazing. I truly appreciate it!!Rollins, Inc.

1 starThis service is absolutely horrible. Cant get anything right. Have had problems from the very beginning. From days of service to actually coming to home. Never had same tech twice had to repeat everything thing over with every visit one dig bat said Im here for your ant problem. I was like ants its a rodent problem. Never got the days of service correct could only do Saturday of the end of the month and the dummies were coming during the week or better yet said they were here were never in my home and want me to pay for service never provided. Have home cameras and nobody was here on the day in question. Liars and bad service.A manager was supposed to call and lord knows that is NEVER going to happen.Falsified paper you can add as well.Still dealing with the mice situation due to incompetence of you idiots. Should really refund all money because situation not resolved. Horrible company and incompetent techs should not hire ex inmates for God sake. No class what so ever. 1 starScheduled our 1st service with Orkin for ant control and no one showed up on time. Finally a technician called after our scheduled time and said hed be late.
