Pronto replaced ceiling drywall and adjusted our gutter in 2017 after a branch went through our roof. They initially lied about giving us a 15% discount and did come back and refund the money. However I just discovered today that when realigning our gutter they also bent our roofs drip edge over the gutter and then screwed it into the fascia - creating holes where water has been seeping through slowly over time. They completely damaged our drip edge which now needs replaced and there was no way wed have known it because the screws were hidden behind the gutter. I am awaiting photos from my roofer and can provide them once I receive them. Id like for them to reimburse me for the replacement of the drip edge and any shingles that need replaced, as well as labor.Business response

The work we performed was done nearly 5 years ago in March of 2018. Our warranty period is within 90 days, which is clearly stated on within our policy.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: the work was faulty and blatantly negligent and has caused damage to our drip edge and could void our roof warranty.

We wanted to put in a kitchen island. I looked up contractors on ****. Pronto home repair came up and I called them. They said I had to pay $324 to send someone out. I paid and **** came over and gave us an estimate. We agreed to having the work done. He sent someone else to get details. They were to get the supplies. A couple of weeks later I called and he said he was having trouble matching our shaker cabinets. After a month and not hearing anything I called again. They couldnt find the supplies. I told **** to just refund me my money. They were just blowing me off. We had already agreed that since it was the island it didnt have to match. It could be a centerpiece on its own. I called about the refund a week later and was told it would take awhile to process. Ive been calling ****. He finally returned my call this week and said he was no longer working with Pronto home repair and was having trouble collecting money due himBusiness response

The customer was refunded in the amount of $324 that was stated in this complaint. We had phone conversation and email correspondence confirming that she did in fact received her refund.
This complaint should be removed. I will attach records of our conversation in writing to this response.

On June 20th Pronto PM (*********************) contacted me ref. Angies list. He reviewed my home task list,and gave me proposal.1. Drywall Patch in MBedroom ceiling downstairs 2.Patch in attic floor 3.Baseboard repair in the upstairsbedroom 4.Light fixture replacement 5.Replace lattice 6.Paint 2 cabinet doors The estimate was $1624.00. Schedule two days, 22nd -23rd of June. I paid $487.00 advance.Per *********, Pronto will start at 8-9 am on 22nd and finish on 23rd. **********, the Pronto Pro came late around 3 pm, on 22nd, brought materials, left. No work that day., On 23rd, schedule said 8-9 am, he came in much later, worked some, and finished #4 task -light fixure attaching to ceiling- which I had to re-fix. No other tasks were finished. ****** agreed to come back Monday,the 27th noon or Tuesday 8-9 am, but did not. He did not come on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday although the schedule indicated otherwise. I kept on calling/texting PM, no response.Finally ********* arrived on Thursday evening and continued with the sheetrock. He agreed to come back Friday, to finish the work, but did not come. Not heard from him or anyone else from Pronto since then. Pronto left me hanging in spite of numerous calls from me. Current status: 1.Drywall Patch in the masterbedroom ceiling This is very much incomplete and messed up.. The ceiling is now very uneven.It is not painted either. They left the room dusty/messy/unusable,messed up the fan/light- not working. They dragged their ladder on finished wooden floor. I have to refinish the floor 2.Medium patch in the attic floor -mostly done, 3. Baseboard repair in bedroom upstairs Not done 4.Light fixture replacement -Mostly done. 5.Replace lattice -Not done 6.Paint two cabinet doors -Not done Pronto has left the tasks and my house in worse shape than before. They left my house dusty, dirty and in total mess, caused damages to floors, in addition pain and suffering. No response to calls.Business response

Thank you for taking the time to speak to me about the status of your project. As we discussed, the project was left unfinished with no set timeline to return to complete the project. We really apologize for all of the delays. We have attempted to find a team who can go back out at the soonest possible dates to finish the items that we discussed, though, we have been unsuccessful in doing so. After our last discussion, we agreed to part ways so you can find another contractor to finish the work. I proposed that we would get your deposit back and credit you on all of the materials that we purchased for your project and cancel your contract with us without you owing anything to us. I understand that you want to counter with having us reimburse you on your damaged ceiling fan and some of the ceiling drywall work in addition to what I offered. We agreed to give it a day or two so you can collect an estimate from another contractor and then we will review that together. I look forward to speaking with you again in the next couple of days so we can work towards a solution together.

Work order#****** Pressure wash deck and staining, Install handrails for garage step and iron rail for front porch. Price charge to complete job $1437.84 I paid a deposit of $431.00 for them to start on **** 22,2022 Job was scheduled for **** 22,2022 they were to start at 8:00 a.m. didn't arrive until 1:30 p.m.Pressured wash my deck and left and didn't returned until **** 29, 2022 and started staining my deck he didn't finish the job he returned on July 1, ********************************************************************************** the mean time he had purchased handrails that was to be put on the steps in my garage which have not been installed and they charged me for the rail for the front porch that has not been install. They have charge me for the stain $78.62 and $150.00 for the rails for the steps in the garage and $150.00 for the rail for front porch which I haven't seen and the guy said would not cost that much and have not been installed.They sent me a Customer Sign-Off and Approval saying the job has been completed and it has not I didn't sign it.Business response

We were able to connect about further details and determined that the job was left unfinished, and since you were left without any updates in a timely matter, we have decided to stop work and cancel your contract. We have worked together to get your money back that you have paid up to that point and and those refunds were initiated. I'm sorry we were not able to help and complete the project but I am happy we were able to come to a reasonable solution.

On May 12, 2022 we searched Angie's **** dba **** for a contractor to hang two doors. The **** site said that someone would contact us immediately. We were contacted by a representative of Pronto Home Repairs, "Hunter Creed" who came to our house the following day. We paid him $283 as a deposit for the work. The work was supposed to be completed the following week but we have not heard anything from the person. When we tried to contact ****, the **** representative hung up on us.Business response

On June 5,2021 I had somebody from ***** came to my house to install a screen door. I paid ***** repair $1600.00 to install the door . A few weeks later the door a s**** came out causing the door to fall off the hinges. I made several calls to the company and I still never received any responses from them. I will like my door to be fixed.Business response

We were able to get in touch with ********************** and agreed on the repairs and the date we could go out and perform those repairs. We finished her screen door repair on 1/18/2022, to which she verbally approved the repairs via a phone call. She also stated that she will remove this BBB complaint. Hired Pronto for wallpaper removal, dry wall repair and painting walls & ceiling. After 3 days Randy told my husband the bathroom was done "just had small spot to fix". My husband works from home and did not have time to look at bathroom until later that evening. At that point my husband texted Davis with pictures and let him know there were A LOT of areas on the walls that were very bumpy and rough as well as areas not fully painted. Davis replied he would let Randy know. Randy arrived next day and made excuses for several issues including painting over a caulk strip instead of removing it. He assured my husband he would "fix" the issues. Again when done for the day my husband was working and did not have time to look at bathroom before signing off on job, his mistake. We are now left with a bathroom that still needs a lot of work and repair!Business response
