      I received an Aspire credit card on 3/15/22, I never added any features that would incurr additional charges. I rarely used my card and maintained a $0 up until recently in January 2023 when I began using my card. My minimum payment due from Jan. ** Feb. Changed so I looked at my statement today and saw a fee charged for credit protection I never requested. I called customer service was transferred to **** at Fortiva hich told me credit protection was added April **************************************************************************** since I had $0 balance all this time I was only charged in Jan and Fed in 2023 $23.59 which will be credited **** and removed within 10 days after arguing with her. These people are clearly committing fraud I never logged in online nor approved this through automated and she knew it! I live check to check and dollar to dollar so I am extremely careful with my finances and spending. I feel bad for people that spend more and will never catch this gimmick.

      Good afternoon, I would like to report a company that I consider to be horrible. The company is know as Fortiva ***************************************. This company is a predator that takes advantage of its customers. Ive been a customer of Fortiva for over 2 years. It was good at first but then fees were charged to my account that should not be charged. My account was also compromised. I called them and lock both of my cards intending to pay them off and close them. In December of 2022 I received an email saying that I was late on a payment. I dont pay my cards late. I have 100% payments history on my credit profile because Im trying to buy a home. I called again explaining that this was an error. I was told they would wave the fee and I should just pay my regular monthly payment. I was told that the bill is due 5pm and if I pay 5:01 pm I will get a $39 fee. I explained that I paid on time and this was an error. I was told if I paid my bills on time that would not happen to me. I asked to speak to a supervisor, her name was **** and she was very disrespectful. I ask to speak with corporate but she told me that was not allowed. My credit score dropped 70 points because they decrease my credit limit, added more fees and reported that I was over 60 days late. I disputed this with the credit bureaus and also sent a letter to corporate. I ask that this business be reported because it is predatory. The customer support is disrespectful and they dont treat you like a valued customer. I ask that they be investigated and exposed so that others dont get trapped by them. I now have to rebuild my credit to buy my home due to an error which they will not take responsibility for. I tried my best to communicate with them but they will not budge. They just keep adding fees and decreasing my credit limit which drops my credit score even more. Any assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated. Thank you ***************** 02/10/2023

      Entered by BBB staff DC. Consumer states received the bill on Dec 14, 2022 and paid it on Dec 17 and they received the payment on Dec 26, 2022. The business states they did not received it, so the consumer went to PNC and was told they did cash it. Sent a copy of the bank transaction. The bill totaled $635.29 and consumer sent $639.00.

      Aspire credit card just sent me terms charging me a ***** a yr card fee at **** month service fee. I called now to complain and ask why, they said they can change the terms of my credit card agreement at any time and did. Aspire card supervisor rep said due the prime rate increase they could charge a fee now and I said I was going to report them to the BBB, wanted the terms and conditions where it says that , also , what they were doing was a consumer rights violation, and I was recording the call and he said he couldn't talk to me then If I was recording and hung up. The previous customer service agent said the annual fee was added because I was in the second year of having this credit card. Which lie is it , right ?? The customer service lady told me, during the call , that if I didn't agree to the new terms with the ***** yr fee that they will cancel my card right then and there and I can't use it anymore for transactions. I said I was undecided on agreeing to the terms and to get a supervisor on the phone. This card was agreed upon and given with no annual fee attached , originally, over 2 years ago. They want me to agree to the terms and if I complain or say no to the fee they said they will cancel my card and I will just have to pay it off, of course.

      I have filed several complaints against Routes/Savva rental car company. I have also filed a complaint against Travelocity. None of these companies have solved my problem. I rented a car from routes/savva through the Travelocity website. I picked up the car on 1/1423 and returned the car on 1/15/23 from the *** location. I was required to leave a $300 deposit which Travelocity confirmed from my complaint. Travelocity also contacted the rental car company and said deposit are returned automactically after 10 business days. IT has Been almost a month and I have asked my ******************* Furtive to credit my account due to what I believe is fraud. The credit card company now wants me to wait ***** days while they do an investigation when the have all the facts in front of them. the contract and the charges and no refund to my account. I'm not sure why it would take ***** days. I asked them to credit my account and they can take as long as they like to investigate the matter. I explained to them that I haven't been able to reach the car rental company by email or by phone so it concerns me that fraud is in play here. the CC company is supposed to protect its customers from fraud and honor the fact that I'm claiming fraud and to investigate me for 90 days is unacceptable

      On 12/16/2022 I was approved for a credit card they told me to allow **** business days for my card. I reached out at the end of January they told me to allow more time because of the Holidays. I reached out on 2/1/2023 they told me to allow 3 more weeks plus 10 days and that I would need to pay for a card I do not have. I told them to cancel the account and they said they have but I would be charged maintenance fees on the card on 3/21.

      I purchased furniture from Bobs furniture I applied for financing and they told me I was approved for 0 percent for up to **** dollars . I have made all of my payments on time . A few months ago I seen my balance jump almost 800 dollars . I called and talked to a rep and explained I was never told about and interest being charged and if I was told I would have paid the account in full before the interest was charged . The rep then told me continue making my payments and when I get down to the interest charged to call back and and they will remove the interest and I would be paid in full . I called today and they said there was nothing they could do I would have to pay the full interest amount and current interest being charged at 35 percent that is ridiculous they are overcharging me .

      I feel I should have been more informed at the time of Purchase that this was 12 months interest free and should of had more notice that I was going to be charged such a large sum of interest . I tried to look at my account online and as soon as I look at a statement and try to increase size the site crashes and not able to see my bill . I was also told when I seen the crazy amount of interest charged to me and I called in and the rep at your company I talked to told me just to pay my bill down to the original amount that was charged to call back in and they would wave the interest .

      I am rejecting this response because: They are not hearing what I said if I was told originally from bobs this was a ****************************************************************** 12 months . If I wasnt told by your representative that I talked to when I was charged over 700 dollars in interest to wait until I had my original balance paid off then I wouldnt argue the point I figured use the banks money as long as possible if it was zero percent . And Im sticker shocked I have over **** dollars in interest for a three thousand dollar purchase. I also have a credit card acoount with you if this is how you treat your customers then Im done paying off both and closing my accounts with fortiva for good .

      The problem began with a salesperson from *************. The sales person tried to get me to switch from ADT to Vivint. He worked on me for 2 hours and then I said I will try it. I am 63, disabled and I work because I cannot make it on disability. I just came home from work and he cold called my house. I let him in and he told me all this sales c*** about how much better and less money and the usual c*** Then he told me about the loan with the other company. I called and cancelled 2 days later. I wrote to the both companies and called them both and sent certified return receipt. They refused to honor the right of recision and this loan company charged it off as a bad dent! That's unacceptable. I want this removed from my credit report. Both companies are equally responsible and Vivint and Fortiva are in this together. Please have them stop trying to ruin my credit simply because I chose NOT to leave ADT.

      To Whom It May ********** am writing in regards to my ASPIRE credit card ending in ****. for the past 2-3 months, I have called to find out why the following payments below were being rejected.April 5, 2022 - $140.09 Conf #***-8706931-22-1 April 21, 2022 - $147.68 - Conf #***-9114977-22-1 Sept 9, 2022 - $25.00 - Conf #***-12830013-22-1 Oct 3, 2022 - $53.00 - Conf #***-13426426-22-1 I was continually instructed to call my bank because the name did not match the account the request for payment was made from. I did so and my bank informed me there was no payments rejected for those amounts. My credit card was closed, I was reported to the credit agencies for late payments, and I was charged late fees. Thank God a customer service rep who cared looked into this in further detail, only to inform me it was an error on Aspire part. Processing department transposed one number from the bank account number that is why the payments were being rejected. It was not because the name was different on the account. I would like to request to have all late fees refunded and my credit payment status be reported paid on time. this has really affected my credit status tremendously. I am disabled and rely on my credit to supplement my fixed income. If you require further information, please feel free to reach out ************************* Thank you.

      Hello I am filing a complaint against fortiva. I spoke with the supervisor **** ID number 692 I asked if I could speak to a supervisor over her she said that was no one. I was calling to make a payment for my account that was due January the 9th of 2023 it is now February 4th 2023 I'm a few days behind I was told I had a late payment when I was asked if they could remove the late payment of $30 as a one-time courtesy she said yes but when I asked her how much were the balance be she continued to not answer my question and said she doesn't have to remove it then it will come off the overall amount when it was originally supposed to come off the balance of $208 then she said well we're all done here and hung up.
