This company has sent me over 20 emails about job postings. I have never directly applied to them or seen them advertised on any job board. But somehow they email me. They seem to offer a high hourly for a temp position. Sometimes an unrealistic offer, example $20 to do medical records, for entry level positions. Usually standard is $18. Anyway it's always an indian speaking representative asking for my resume. If I applied to them, they would already have the resume. They also ask a lot of personal questions, and make it seem as if i'm already hired. They also ask for the last 4 of my SSN. They say it's to create my account. Which I have never experienced with any other recruiter or firm in all my years. SSN is usually provided upon hiring. When I refuse to provide my SSN, that seems to be it. This is a major red flag. IF if were indeed a legit opportunity, I would atleast be set up for an interview. But none has ever occurred. During an interview I am never asked for my SSN. So I know its mandatory. It definitely seems like a scam to for identity thieves. I have attached an example of the email, with a thread of how emails I have received.Business Response

Thank you for your inquiry. To clarify, Pyramid Consulting has been a leader in the contingent staffing space for more than 27 years. We are headquartered in **********, ******* and have operations globally. We are also recognized by the BBB, and multiple industry organizations.
In reviewing the compliant we have found the following information:
The original resume was pulled from CareerBuilder on February 2, 2023. From there, our recruiters (many of whom operate from our offshore locations in ***** and ***************) reached out to discuss interest in an available position with one of our clients. A message was left at 1:57pm ET.
On July 5th an outbound call was placed to the candidate - that lasted roughly 2 minutes. At that point the candidate expressed that she was not interested in providing the client requested pre-screening information which in fact included the last 4 digits of her SSN. We make these requests as part of the screening process to identify candidates at our clients request, and to set up the account.
All of our roles are legitimate and are submitted based on our Fortune **** client bases. Many of the roles that we recruit for are not posted onto job sites, and therefore are not generally available. This is a standard industry practice, to ensure that vetted candidates are recruited.
On July 24th - the candidate expressed interest in the customer service role.
Multiple emails were in fact generated over a 6 month period by multiple members of our recruiting team, as the candidate's resume appeared to be an initial fit to open roles.
At any point in the process, the candidate could have sent us an email or requested that her information be removed from our system and that no further emails or communication occur. We have an opt-out option.
To close this out - we will go in and remove any more outbound emails to the email address on file. If the candidate would like her information removed, she can send a formal request to ********************************

Ive only been able to have a phone call with one person from the company regarding a job, when the position fell through the constant emails began. Each time I read the job description and replied with my resume I get no response. I try calling the representatives with the phone number from their emails nothing. I reached to them on LinkedIn nothing. I go to the website and send a message that way nothing. I call the headquarters staticBusiness Response

It sounds as if you submitted and were not selected for the role. Not sure what the "constant emails" refers to or from whom. 01/11/2023 I attempted a contract with this temp agency for a job and the manager called me a liar regarding pay rate. i needed the work and let it go. The rep then said he would submit me. However, I asked for the info including the managers name and req number as it was the SAME role i had applied too with another temp agency and told him this! I said I do not want to duplicate this and be knocked out of the chance to be interviewed. He said he could not provided me that info until I had the interview. I said then I can't. He said he can assure it isn't the same because it was posted different dates. Again, I said I am with another temp agency for the coordinator and don't want a bad name with this company because I want to work for them. I submitted my name and application under them anyways and it was for the same req and manager! few days later he calls and asks when my interview is and for the req number and managers name! I said what? You should have info and give it to me. He said no you tell me. I said I dint have any from your company. I sent you an email stating you do NOT have representation rights for me! He told me to "Chill out!" And I hung up on him. My current temp agency called and said they called the company told them I was with them and do not let me interview! They have gone out of their way to knock me out of now 2 jobs! And continue to fight employment! My current rep said he has never seen a temp agency fight so hard to be vindicative.Business Response

***** and manager later said they will withdraw the program coordinator position but they still submitted me for another position! He blamed me again for the miscommunication! I said to make it clear I do not want any contact at all or representation from Pyramid contracting from this day forward. Period. I dont ******** even get paid.
so even after they tried to stop me from getting the pother job they said theyd withdraw that position but they still submitted me for another one after me saying to stop representing me!
pls send them this info then you can close this. I have blocked their numbers in my phone and on indeed.com. I just want no more communication or representation please. Thank you.Customer Answer

I have been contacted daily by this company. They initially offered me a position and I refused. I received another email from another recruiter and refused. I have been getting calls, texts, and emails daily by this company and each time I refuse the position. Multiple recruiters have contacted me multiple times a day from different mediums and each time I have asked for them to stop contacting me and they refuse to acknowledge my request to not be contacted by them nor accept my decision of not wanting to work for them. I also serve as DPO within the organization. I checked our records and do not show a request from the candidate for redaction or suspension of communication. I did find in our CRM Database that a request was made to a recruiter on October 13, 2022 that we no longer contact the candidate. His record was marked Unavailable Indefinitely at that time which signals that we would not have recruiters reach out to him.
Prior to that there was an outbound call recorded on September 28, 2022.
I can go in and request that all outbound communication to that gmail address be blocked from server as an extra precaution.
