We rent a house at this address and on Friday night a big piece of a tree fell onto our house and caused damage to the roof and we called the emergency maintenance number to tell them and sent them pictures and it is now sunday morning after yet another rain storm and nothing has been done not even come to look at damages. This is just one of many things that need to be fixed here the back porch has been a safety issue since we moved in with rotting wood as a deck with multiple trip hazards. Moved here May 14th and have had issues. -No AC for 2 days. Was up to 89(forgot to get a pic of that high temp) with my 5 kids here(My husband got so hot and dehydrated he had to go to the hospital for 2 days! He spent his birthday ******** in the hospital also)-Yard was not cut when we got here.-Paint half done -Floor Register vents old and ***** to the point they won't open or close so I had to buy my own floor register vents.- Bathroom door broken -Backyard water faucet handle broken.-Backyard outlet not working -NOOOOOW the guest bathroom is leaking water into the garage and water everywhere. Literally only been here ALMOST 2 wks. My property manager **** ****** has only emailed me ONCE this ENTIRE ordeal. Very dismissive. Excalibur homes SO FAR IS TERRIBLE. I CANNOT BELIEVE we've only been here almost 2 weeks with ALL OF THESE ISSUES. -Ants coming through the plug sockets.Initial Complaint

I rented this residence with an agreement to not renew my lease and move out as of November 2021 with no further fees. Today I was contacted for the first time in years by a collection company claiming I owe a December 2021 rent payment from a phone number *****************. I have never received any communication from Excalibur via certified mail, regular mail of any kind or email. Even though they have communicated with me even after my move out via email to advise they were attacked with ransomware. Which I believe exposed my personal financial information. I have a receipt of my final payments made via certified check. This is beyond frustrating given they kept my security deposit citing damages and cleaning which were false! I cleaned the entire property. In addition, the entire time I lived at the property repairs were not made and no correction to missing garage remote which they claimed they provided 2 and I never had 2 only 1 remote was provided when I moved into the property. I want this resolved immediately and the debt company to delete all my private information as well as Excalibur.Initial Complaint

My fiance and I moved into this home on September 1, 2024. We paid the rent reservation fee of $3100.00 and then first month's rent of $3100.00 for a total of $6200.00. We were promised many things in the home would be addressed as long as we sent in the rent reservation fee. We were unable to see the home prior to moving in, which was odd. We were certain this company had some integrity and would complete the necessary work. We moved in and did the 48 walk through addressing these same concerns and still, a month later, nothing has been fixed. We were initially working with **** and then her manager ******, whom we thought would be helpful. She ended up not ****** at all and here we are a month later and things are still not fixed. The walls in one of the bathrooms are filthy. Just to name a few, there is wood exposed on the doors inside the home, no light in the laundry room, and the slats are loose. ****** has been very condescending and unprofessional. We have asked for contact information for **** ****** and have yet to receive it. We feel like we have been scammed. There has been no repairs made whatsoever. We have only been told the owners did not agree to the repairs, although we were told otherwise.Initial Complaint

I contacted this company to inquire about a property that have listed for rent. The person who reached out to me after my inquiry once submitted seem to not want to assist me and I think it might have to do with my picture showing in my gmail account and they see that Im a African American male. I think Im being discriminated against and think that its unfair. I feel like this violates the fair housing act.Initial Complaint

We moved into a rental property managed by Excalibur Homes on May 24th, 2024. As we started moving in, we found numerous problems with the house, even though the Move-In Report showed that all appliances and fixtures were in working condition.It has already been THREE WEEKS of living here, and our fridge, washer, and dryer still haven't been replaced or fixed. Reaching the maintenance coordinator is nearly impossible and extremely slow to reply. We've submitted multiple maintenance requests but have received the same response: the management is working on it and waiting on the owner's approval.It's ridiculous! I was charged for a broken stove top when it was the element in my oven ! Prior to switching to Excalibur homes, I had issues with oven! Dishwasher as well but it was replaced! My issue is that they replaced with new unit and I was charged! Therefore when my lease is up, I will need to take new stove with me!Initial Complaint

I received a letter stated I havent paid my rent for March and a notice of eviction will start so I sent over proof that I paid my rent for march through the portal that I have been paying rent to when I move there in to my apartment four years ago because the new portal would not accept the rent the old portal was with ****** ******************** which I will be filing another complaint against them too and I have been getting the run around about the payment and nothing still not resolvedInitial Complaint

My lease with Excalibur ended on 12/31/23. I gave them a $2,050 deposit. $1,350 was withheld from my deposit because of fraudulent information from the homeowner. The homeowner claimed a garage door was broken and they had to rekey a door. Several emails were sent to Excalibur showing where the garage door was broken prior to move in and no doors were rekeyed. Excalibur agreed with me and has been telling me my $1,350 will be mailed to me for over a month now and I still have not received it.Initial Complaint

I do not have a bathroom to use in my home I have called and contacted the *********** several times I have left messages I have did all the procedures they have asked me to do I have been without a shower with for 2 weeks No one is acting like this is a necessity and I would like something done about my rental payment because I have to keep going to hotels to rent a room to take a shower no 1 is trying to help me
