************ did not cancel his contract 4 months ago. We have been to his home four times for different service calls since July of this year including the call from 8-28-23. Unfortunately ************ has not done maintenance on his A/C system as we recommend. His drain line has backed up which is not covered by his service contract. He refused to pay to clear the drain line even though he was advised of that scenario before we went to his home. He called us to cancel his contract after the technician left on 8-28-23 and we advised him we need that request in writing via letter or email as per the contract. He has not done that as yet. ****** advised him at that time to consider keeping the contract because he has had several service calls this calendar year and would not receive a refund under the terms and conditions of the contract. He has received over $520 in repairs and service for his $397.10 contract to date and will not receive a refund.
We recommended he keep the service contract and consider adding a twice a year maintenance agreement for $159 to keep his A/C system in good working order. We would clear the drain line under that agreement at no charge, as it is a maintenance related issue. Drain lines go through the walls under under the slab to reach outside. They are part of the building structure and should be flushed a couple times a year and we offer that service through our maintenance plans.
