    On August 7, on the call with the sales agent I agreed to book my small (no big furniture, no assembly - only few items and less than 15 boxes), but long distance move (from *************** to *************) because they offered an additional discount for the same day booking and quoted me $600. The estimate accounted for 1h for pickup (load) and 1h for drop off (unload at destination), fees for stairs and additional fee for 4h travel time. I decided to take advantage of the FREE STORAGE for up to 30days. I repeatedly asked to confirm that there are no additional fees and that the estimate is the total amount for everything (unless extra time is needed for any bulky items, or furniture dis/assembly that we didn't account for before). I paid $300 deposit, and then $209 on pickup day on August 20. They loaded all items in 30 minutes. I haven't been given a copy of the paperwork that they had me signed because the "job is not done untill delivery" they also didn't let me sign them off at 10:00am when they finished. I called on 9/12 to confirm the delivery on 9/15 and was told that another ticket is needed for "storage out" and delivery and quoted me additional $1312 (including $89 balance)! They charged extra 5h of labor, additional travel time, milage, origin fee, destination fee and a transportation surcharge!I refused to pay additionally more than a double of the full amount that I was quoted originally (including "free" storage). So I was told that I can schedule to pickup my items at their storage, but I will have to still pay the balance, the labor time of minimum 3h and other admin fees. So either way additional hundreds of dollars just to get my items released. And absolutely no refund for what I already paid for even though they basically did less than 1 hour of work.I also just found out I don't even have access to the original contract because even though I saved the confirmation email, the link to the contract expired after booking, same as the estimates!

    This business is a scam $600 was the estimate. No. They will want more than $2,000 on delivery. And $200 extra a day if you dont pay it. Yes. I called the police. Nothing they can do. They have this down to a science. I could have bought new furniture for that price. If you are stupid enough to hire them after reading this, dont put anything you value on that truck. They wont open it until they have cash/Venmo payment. I am not requesting anything. Just need everyone else to know this is a scam.

    This was probably the worst customer experience I have ever had. Bar none. The company gave me a quote based on questions that they asked me and had advised me that if I paid a 10% charge surcharge, I would have a flat rate move. I agreed to that and spoke with three different sales advisers, and as an assistant about this to confirm and it was confirmed, and I kept asking them why the terms in the contract said that it was a quote because as an attorney, I should know better but unfortunately they beat it and switched me and change the terms on me midstream and then demanded five times what I had been quoted in order to offload my stuff from the truck. And they demanded payment in cash so that of course it's not retractable. On top of that, at the end of the time they didn't even finish putting together the wall unit or Bed or other items, and they left a bunch of items at my old house. So now I have to rent a truck and hire people to move the additional items that they failed to move. This was honestly such a terrible experience. Please do yourself a favor and stay far away from this company.The funny thing is that I took somebody's word on this before I did the right research. Unfortunately, did not do the research until last night. By this point I had already made a deposit. If you want me to deposit, don't go forward **** up your deposit and keep going. Look for another Mover because, this was the most dishonest ever. On top of that, the lead mover was rude and condescending toward me. No one deserves to be treated like this, especially with an a stressful situation such as a move. I'm a single mom and I feel completely taken advantage of. They told me they would take my stuff away if I didn't pay. It was like being held hostage. Essentially, it felt like I was a hostage for most of the day, and was held as a false prisoner to this company's ridiculous way of doing business. I feel so violated. And broke! Their license should be revoked

    On September 20, 2022 ,I spoke with ***** at all American Relocation and storage regarding a price to move my furniture from *************** ******* to ****************. I was quoted a fee of $2050. I was also asked how many rooms and items to be moved, she quoted me an initial down payment of $800.00 another $875.00 at pick-up,and once the furniture delivered $375.00 . on October 14, 2022 all American location storage arrive to pick up my belongings. I have packed everything except for large pieces of furniture. Once everything was on the truck the driver informed me that I owe $3,306.60 which was far beyond what I had been told. I had to drive her to get in touch with the owner of the company he told me he did not see an agreement with the price that I was told . And I wasnt able to ever ****************** again to clarify that that was the quote that she had given me. l was never told that I would be charged a separate fee for shrink wrap and walking from the truck to my front door, and for bulky items . I didnt receive my furniture until November 21,2022, nor did I see any damage until after the movers had left and assembled my furniture. I called the company and notify them that I had damage , but at that time, I only saw the damage to the bed. They told me I had 48 hours to make a claim. I never use the moving company before, but this was absolute the worst experience Ive ever had. They price gauge ,and the misrepresented the truth. with all of that my furniture was damage. Some of my items are missing. Some were broken One item in particular the base of my television was broken off. I was told because they didnt pack them. They were not responsible they wrap the tv, enclosed are a pictures of damage. I can say this has truly been an experience to remember this company is a complete fraud. Although I feel that I was completely overcharged, I would like restitution for the damage done to my furniture. Its not even a year old and every piece of it has been scratched or scarred in someway. Thank you very much for your consideration of my complaint.Thank you very much ***********************

    I am moving to ******** from *****. I decided to go with this company because they had the best prices. I spoke to ****** on 2/07/2023. We completed an inventory of a confirmed price of approximately $1900.00. On the inventory he told me to just give him the large items and no boxes. He asked me about the televisions. I did not have the original boxes so he would take care of them. He estimated ***** boxes which would not be on the inventory. I did sign the contract and sent them $628.00. Today a man named **** who said he was a manager and reported to the owner called me to review everything. He did not know about the boxes or the headboard which I told ****** about several times. **** was very rude and nasty. He said with the three additional items and the boxes, my total would be over $3000.00. I tried to explain to him the situation but he didnt want to listen. He said he had given me a discount but since I was rude he was taking it away. He TOLD me that I had to decide today to cancel, accept the new pricing. He also threatened to hang up the phone on me. I want the deposit returned and no longer want to deal with this company. There have been so many mistakes from the beginning and each person you speak to, I spoke to four, are not only rude but give you different information. **** said that I am passed the deadline to receive a refund. I know I made some mistakes especially in trusting them but they should take responsibility for their mistakes.

    All American Relocation and Storage Job No: AS2255942 I hired this company to move from *****, ** to **********, **. Upon initial estimate, I was quoted around 300cubic feet of space on the truck, totaling approx. $1600. Two days before the move, a representative from the company called to confirm my list of possessions, and she doubled the cubic feet to about 600 (total $3200). The day of the move (1/7/23), three men in a truck came to *****************, and the manager of the crew told me that this was going to be 900 cubic feet (totaling approx $6000). We were told by the "manager" that we could either pay or throw some things away. At this point, we didn't have much choice because we had to move from ***** and all of our things were packed, disassembled, and ready to move. Furthermore, the contract we signed says delivery in **** business days, and we still have not received our belongings. I have called several times each week and spoken to dispatch and customer service, and they keep telling me that they are waiting on a truck, driver, and route to be created in order to deliver our things. We still do not have our stuff. I have reached out to the *************** ***************** (where the moving company is based), the ****************************, and the attorney general's office of *******. I feel that our things are being taken hostage, or potentially being stolen. I told this to the company of the phone, and they got very defensive and said that I was on a recorded line and that I should not make false accusations. I am not sure where to go from here. Thanks for your help in advance.In addition to the Desired Resolution I selected below of "Delivery", I would like billing adjustments/refunds IF POSSIBLE. Above all else, I just want my possessions delivered.

    I reserved a truck with movers to transport my items from South ******* to ************ a week ago. The original quote was $1388.00 including a $300.00 deposit. There were only a few items to transport. When the movers from the company go to the final destination they told dm to pay $4394.50. I was in tears and did not know what to do. The movers finally negotiated with me to $2,000.00. This was not the original quote and I feel I was taken advantage of in this situation. They would not release my stuff until I paid.

    I am 71 and my wife is 66, and we are on fixed incomes. On November 22, 2022, I entered into an agreement with All American Relocation and Storage to move my household belongings from *****************************************************************************, to **********************************************************************************************************, a distance of app 7 miles. I was quoted $695 after I provided a list of the items that I wanted moved. I accepted the quote and put down a deposit of $200, with a moving date of November 23, ****, at 9:30 am. I received a phone call later in the day to go over the list and was informed that the cost would be $1195, because of bulk items and several items had to moved to the second floor of the townhouse. I said no and asked that they cancel the move. I then received a call from the Logistics Manager, who called to tell me that they could lower the rate to $945, and I said that they needed to honor the original quote. A couple of hours later, the sales person called back and said that they would honor the original quote, and if I didn't accept the deal they would keep my deposit. So I agreed to this and the truck with 3 people shoed up at 11:30 on November 23, 2022. While they were loading the ******* insisted that everything be shrink-wrapped, even though me wife felt it was not necessary. When the truck was loaded and they arrived at the new location, the driver said we have to pay the invoice before they could unload. My wife called and they sent her an invoice of $2270, saying that the invoice had to be paid in full, cash only, before they would unload, and that the bill goes up every 15 minutes the driver waited. So they basically held my furniture hostage until I paid. the new invoice showed various *** charges, including a fee of $800 for a roll of shrink-wrap. This company needs to be put out of business!

    company told to move my household belongings fron ** to *********** ******* is going to cost me $1446 with $400 deposit.I paid the deposit and described what i have to move and they told me i am paying for more space theb i need.When they came tp pick my belongings up i took some of my furnitue out(tv,rv stand, computer table/.The driver told me i have plenty of space for my things and then they load it on the truck.He sent a picture to someone and then magically the price went to $4400,I spoke to the owner ************************* and with much back and forth he said the whole think was going to be $2500 and with the deposit to give the driver $1800 and my balance wii be $300 and to give it($300) at delivery.I told i may need to store my belongings for a few day.He said that is ok we don"t charge for the 30 days but i didn"t need the extra daysThey picked my belongings on 10/23/2022 and i called on 11/3/2022 and then on11/7/2022 and then 11/9/2022 and then on 11/11/2002,they finally told me my furniture wiil be delivered on11/13/2022 and my balance will be $1500>i asked the owner why and he told magically i took more space during transit of my belongings,i have email of what he quoted **** my medication that they are holding up

    I was given a lowball estimate by ***** about an out of state move. It was around $2700. Once the move happened, it ballooned to $9524. When the movers were there, they complained about ***** saying she always does that ans that's why they hate people that work at desks because they don't know what really goes on. Well, With this company, you have to pay by ***** or Cashapp which is very shady. I had to pay 70% of $9524. I did. So, a few weeks later I was ready for my things to be delivered. I called on October 27th and the guy that answered told me that I had to wait until 3 other people scheduled a move. This was unacceptable to me. I called back Tuesday and asked for a supervisor. This nasty person got on the phone and kept saying per the contract I signed, they're within their right to hold my items. I said so what you're saying is you'll deliver my items when it's convenient for you? She wouldn't answer. So, on Thursday, November 3rd, ****** calls and says my stuff will be delivered on Saturday and to make sure I have the balance which is $2588. I made sure I had the money orders ready for them for Saturday. However. Yesterday, ****** calls back and says I have to pay, by *****, $788, because the movers can't "have a certain amount of money on them". This makes no sense if they have multiple moves. I paid it via Zelle and Cashapp. Saturday comes and my stuff is not delivered. I call both numbets that have called me from their business and no one has answered. Also, ****** tells me that 2 of my boxes can't come because something spilled. However she can't tell me what isn't coming and I haven't seen any pictures. They're trying to steal my items. This company is a complete fraud.
