    Strongly recommend against using Alex T********, doing business as Metron AC. We used his company to install our central air conditioning system, and then to do the annual maintenance. When he performed the annual maintenance, we paid him by check, and he said that it was destroyed by the ATM. We then used our credit card with PayPal, and, to our surprise, he ended up charging us over 12 times! (Incidentally, the check also cleared.) He claimed it was a mechanical error, but since we had already determined that he was going to install a Split for us for the amount that he had taken, we agreed that the Spilt was prepaid. He then stopped taking our calls, responding to texts or emails. To us, he is a liar and a thief. Should you choose to do business with him: 1) get a contract in advance; 2) pay him nothing until the job is completed, including the permit inspection, 3) pay him in cash only as he might claim nonexistent problems with the check or unscrupulously steal your credit card. We still do not have the Split, nor do we have the $3,060 he took from us. We were successful in recovering an additional $480 in fraudulent credit card charges from our credit card issuer, but we had to cancel that credit card and get a new one. Buyer beware!
