I has laser done here before and completed all my treatments but wanted to continue services. My sister got me a gift certificate to put toward my laser, It was during COVID so when I finally went back they still allowed me to use the gift certificate because they had it on my account as well. I believe the certificated was for $150 and I had to pay the remaining $150 or $200 (I cant remember) to continue my sessions. The appointments were so far out and not fitting my schedule so I had to wait over a month for my 1st appointment to be told I should wait due to products I was using that *** affect the laser. So I had to wait almost another month for another appointment. I had gotten laser that day but I didn't see any results from it which i was going to bring up my next appointment that I had to wait over a month again. I believe it was days before my next appointment i received a text saying they had to cancel my appointment and specifically said no need to contact them, they would contact me with the next available appointment due to being short staffed. Months went by and I didn't hear anything and due to my busy schedule and really bad procrastination problem I put it off and and never contacted them so now that I am ready to continue my services I came to realize they are no longer in business and I was never notified nor refunded or anything. I am shocked to find out like this and I did not expect this to happen. I don't know what to do , or who to contact anyone because the only number listed is a number that doesn't work and the address of the closed business.

In July 2023, I purchased multiple packages for laser hair removal which included 3 areas for hair removal and six sessions each area. When I showed up for my second session, I was notified by a letter taped to the door that Westchase MedSpa was temporarily closed for 1 month due to staff members having covid. I waited until November to begin calling to schedule my second session. I left a few messages and ultimately, the end of November, a recorded message answered saying the company was filing bankruptcy and would be closed permanently. The message states that I would be contacted in the upcoming months regarding next steps to take. By the end of December, I still had not received any correspondence, so I took action with my bank to dispute the charge. My bank denied the claim, saying it has been too long since the original payment (which was July). Now I am looking for any course of action to help recoup some of the money for services UN-rendered.

The customer is correct, we did file bankruptcy.  It is out of our hands at this point, the court appointed a conservator to assign assets and notify creditors (they were provided with names and contact information for all customers owed services).  They do not communicate with me on what happens after the bankruptcy.  I really don't know what to say to anyone, I don't know where they are at in the process.

I purchased a Groupon for laser hair removal and began my treatments with ******* Medspas of Trinity. I believe I had 1 treatment left when I was advised the Trinity location was closing temporarily due to short staff and I would have to continue at the Westchase location an hour away. On June 16, my last treatment I was advised I would need to purchase another 6 treatment package which I did for $160. I had one treatment in July. Treatments are at least 6 weeks apart. My next treatment was in September. I was advised they could not treat me after driving an hour there because of antibiotics I was on. I rescheduled for October. I received a text confirmation for my appointment. I never received a call to reschedule. When I arrived for my October appointment there was a note on the door stating that they were closed for the month of October due to short staff with a number listed for questions. I have called and left multiple messages with no return call. It is halfway through November and they are still closed. Their website is no longer up and running and it is too late to file a claim with my bank. This is not how to conduct business. You can't just take people's money and close your doors.

This customer was notified on October 6th via text message that shows read and again on October 7th via text message and email that her appointment was cancelled.  I will include the actual text and email message to follow.  Unfortunately, as the message states, we were forced to close permanently and file chapter 11 bankruptcy.  Mid-Florida court case number Case 8:23-bk-04993.  It was a very hard decision after 11 years but there were no other options.  I made sure I sent multiple emails and text messages to all of our clients as soon as possible.  They will also (as stated in the emails and texts) will be notified by the court appointed trustee on how to file a claim.  I lost everything (that I used my life savings on) and the assets will be sold off to settle as many claims as possible.

It looks like they have filed for bankruptcy and as a result have stolen thousands of dollars from their customers!! I purchased 6 sessions and only received one! This is so wrong. Our hard earned money is just gone

Unfortunately, the complainant is correct, we are permanently closed and have filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy.  It hurts my heart that after 11 years in business, I had to do it.  It was fallout from Covid-19 that I just wasn't able to overcome.  My customers and staff meant the world to me, and it was such a hard avenue to take.  I kept my business open as long as possible, paying staff out of my savings but my savings and retirement money is completely depleted, and I didn't have any way forward.
