1 starPurchased an F250 a year ago from Bill Currie Ford on Dale Mabry in Tampa. We initially had an issue with the finance guy when he wanted to give us a loan with a higher interest rate than what we were pre-qualified for from the same financial institution. We had to call Grow because he was swaying us to their finance terms and not budging on the rate even though we told him we were pre-qualified from the same bank and had arranged our own financing. We loved the truck, so we bought it but were not happy with the pressure from the finance experience. So fast forward now on to the oil change... got a call from Bill Currie Ford that it was time for an oil change although we don't drive on a regular basis and the oil looked good. They kept calling us claiming they were getting notifications from Ford, and they said they could come to us that way we wouldn't have to worry about the wait and their service department quoted $160.00. Now I'm a female and have NO IDEA how much an oil change on an F250 would cost. I asked if the price included all fees and she said yes. They showed up and after the job was done told me the cost was $227.53. I told the service techs that's not what they quoted, soon after I get a call from their office that there is nothing, they can do about it - the girl who booked it must have made a mistake, and she will talk with the service staff. You will have to pay the $227.53, I told them this was a 'bait & switch' and I would never use their service again. So, for those of you booking mobile service or buying a vehicle from Bill Currie Ford on Dale Mabry, Tampa - do your research and know what the rates are currently, as well as getting mobile service costs in writing. I have certainly learned my lesson. That's strike 2 for Bill Currie Ford and why I am making people aware of the poor business practice from this dealership.Review fromHeather H

1 starIf i could leace zero stars i would. This is by far the worst dealership i have ever dealt with in my life. I bought an f350 dulley on 3/3/25. After signing all paperwork i was then told it was not finished being "gold" inspected. They gave me a loaner ( ford bronco). And told me it would be completed the next day. After not hearing anything i finally reached out and was told it still wasnt finished because of the back up camera was not working. While purchasing said vehicle i was promised more than 1x by the salesman Adam that i would have brand new tires all around because i had voiced a concern about them being really low tread. He then advised me that its no problem " it doesnt cost the dealership anything for tires". After 2 days i finally was able to pick up my truck only to not have new tires on it, the back up camera parts were "on order". The gooseneck hitch plate that the sticker on the truck window says it has not there. ( The whole reason we bought the truck was to haul ) The a/c only works when it feels like, the transmission slamming down into gear when slowing down. The truck has no jack, not to mention the service tech put tires back on wrong so i couldnt add air to inside tire. There is 0 communication with all of them. They like to pawn the problem off to the next person. I was personally told i am whats considered a "hot case". But yet as of today still nothing from the dealership and my business is losing $ every day. DO NOT BUY FROM BILL CURRIE FORD THEY SUCKReview fromWilliam B

1 starI reached out to Bill Currie to request only a QUOTE for ordering a MY25 Bronco with X-Plan pricing. Instead of providing me a quote, they took my X-Plan pin and placed and order, then ghosted me when I asked why? And requested they cancel the order and free up my pin (you only get 2 pins a year) This is a shady tactic by a dealership to lock in orders without customer permission, so they can have them on lot to sell at a markup. Stay far away from this dealership.Review fromLionel B

1 starMy experience with [Bill Curry Ford] has been a nightmare from start to finish. They sold me a vehicle that had not been properly inspected, with a check engine light coming on the same day I drove it off the lot. On top of that, the vehicle had a leaking rooftop, damaged gas cap, and, most alarmingly, a bad transmission—none of which were disclosed at the time of purchase.
Getting a loaner vehicle was a battle, and when they finally offered a replacement, my options were extremely limited. They also failed to inform me of the Ford Blue Advantage Program benefits, which include a 14-day/1,000-mile money-back guarantee, despite prominently advertising it on their website. The finance representative even claimed to be unaware of the program, only for the dealership to later deny my eligibility because of their in-house financing.
This dealership’s lack of transparency and poor customer service have made this a highly stressful and disappointing experience. I would advise anyone looking for an honest dealership to steer clear of [Bill Curry Ford]. Bill Curry Ford that has left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. As a Black African American man, I went into the dealership prepared to make a purchase but was met with treatment that was less than professional and, frankly, discriminatory.
Throughout the process, I felt that my credit score and race were being unfairly judged, resulting in what I believe was biased treatment. Rather than providing helpful advice or attempting to work with me, the staff seemed dismissive and unwilling to offer fair terms. This experience has made me question the dealership’s commitment to treating all customers equally and respectfully.
If you’re looking for a dealership that values inclusivity and fair treatment, I would recommend exploring other options. My experience with [Bill Curry Ford] was a reminder of the biases that can still affect people of color.Bill Currie Ford, Inc.

******, we are very sorry for your experience. Subprime lending and in house financing can seem very daunting and intrusive. I will get involved with your vehicle and make sure I provide you the service you trusted us to give you.Review fromNick D

1 starBUYERS BEWARE.A 2023 *** with 3-4 owners on the title instead of 2 ********** June 2024 I purchased a used *** IX from this store. I asked for the vehicle to be titled in my business name and my name for insurance and tax purposes. I was charged $298 for private tag agency to cover expenses related to doing the paperwork with the **** on top the $1199 dealer fee.I had the finance manager do the paperwork twice before I left the store because it all had the business name only instead of my personal name and the business on the on it and I still have all the text messages to prove it. I even asked ******* (great guy) if I needed to come back again to re-sign a 3rd time and he said I shouldn't have to.Your store is having me driving a car without insurance since June until now, because they titled it in the business name only, and my insurance won't cover it unless my name is on the title. The vehicle will have 3 or 4 owners on the history not TWO, all due to the lack of interest from your paperwork guy in cash deals, on top of that I am the one who has to go stand at the ********** to fix it!All could have been avoided by a simple correction request to the *** to amend the paperwork and put two names on the title instead of one. Having 4 owners on the title matters to me a lot because I change cars every year, and buyers will just see it differently and it will end up costing me lots of money in 9 months when I try to sell or trade the ********** the meantime, if this car gets involved in an accident or gets totaled, you will hear from my attorney because you are liable for anything the insurance won't cover. Your staff assured me before leaving your store it was done right multiple times verbally.I will not pay for your mistake in money or take any of my personal time off to go stand at the **********. Feel free to contact me anytime if you are willing to fix the issue (my cellphone # ends in ****) and ******* has it.Bill Currie Ford, Inc.

I am very sorry for the lack of attention to your experience; I will reach out to you today with my title clerk and resolve this situation.

1 starDo NOT GO HERE. Our breaks fell off our car after their break job. This service department is not only bad but they are dangerous. If I could leave no stars I would. Recently we paid for a brake job $1200 before a road trip in the mountains. While deep in the mountains, OUR REAR BREAKS FELL OFF OUR CAR and break fluid started spraying everywhere. By the ***** of GOD we survived. Our car had to be towed 1 hour away to the closest repair center. We ended up having to rent a car and stay an extra 5 days waiting for all the repairs from the damage. Upon return, we promptly told the service department and they agreed to reimburse us for all the repairs, car rental, but not the lodging. BUT SO FAR NOTHING. DO NOT GO to BILL CURRIE FORD. All of this is my opinion
