This company collects a fee and does not protect you from any indignations caused by movers on their list. When I called to discuss my concern then I was met with condescension and indignatiousness. The couch and loveseat to be moved inside the house were just outside the door on a utility trailer. The movers attempted to move the furniture into the house without success. Since they had come to the house, I had to pay them for services. The following Saturday when additional family members were home, they were able to move the furniture into the house through a side door that is the same exact size as the front door that I had also suggested to the movers. The only difference on the side door is that the sliding glass latch had to be removed which is what I also offered to do for the movers. I reached out to the movers without an offer of refund so I contacted moving labors.com on the following Tuesday to find out the process for refund. Melanie blamed me for not calling while the movers were in the yard, not having the furniture available, or not after I figured it out Saturday. It has only been a week since the movers were there and I didn't know that it was possible to move the furniture into the house because that's the information I had obtained from the movers who are professionals. Also, I was so unsure that we could get the furniture into the house that I purchased a brand new set for the living room. While on the phone with moving labor the call ended abruptly and I called back asking for a manager. Melanie said that she was working by herself and Chris would need to call me back. My main concern is that I did not hear any true reason for moving labor would not refund their portion to me. The furniture was provided to the movers on the utility trailer at the front door. It only took me looking on the internet to find the correct turn to get the furniture into the door. Read the owner's reply in the previous complaints before choosing this company.
