I really wish we could help this customer. It appears the vehicle was repossessed by the lien holder and is entirely out of our hands. If the customer would have come to us before the repossession, we could have helped. However, it is out of our control at this point.*****

I recently moved in to the area of Peter Boulware Toyota and my car, a Toyota Corolla from 2015 with less than 70k miles started having issues where the car was shaking and the *** and Track Off lights were on. We took the vehicle to PBT and they diagnosed it with a worn out sparks plug and ignition coil. All these repairs plus the diagnosis cost over $700. We paid the price and not even 24 hours after we had picked up the vehicle, the same issues came back and worse. So much worse that we had to get the car towed. After their second diagnosis they started saying the issue was a misshapen valve that they had not previously inspected, the people at PBT apologized profusely because the issue should've been caught the first time they looked at it and claimed the technician had not done a thorough enough examination. This new issue would cost $4800 but they would comp the original $700 since that wasn't the actual issue. Upon hearing this number we sought a second opinion. The second ******** said the issue was the misplaced timing chain and the repair would only cost about $1600 and that all the valves were perfectly fine. No longer trusting the dealership we went with the second option. The car was picked up two days ago and it has been running perfectly. Thinking about how the car would have still not worked after paying the steep price makes me and my family think they just wanted to buy the car for cheap. FYI the AMAZING people at ****** Garage were the ones that fixed my car.

I just moved here from NYC to Tallahasse two months ago. I shopped around for three weeks looking for a car. I ended up going to Peter Boulware and getting SCAMMED. I purchased a Ford Fiesta with ~73,500 miles for approximately $9k. The car had a sticker on the windshield saying it had been inspected for transmission, tires, and breaks. Within one month, the paint at the top of the car started aggressively peeling off and rusting. I spoke to a manager about it and made 3 visits to the dealership to see the paint guy. I was told he would be there, and told it would be taken care of. They kept giving me the run around telling me to come back. When I arrived, they just left or that he had a went on vacation. Then, two weeks later, my car broke down on the 10 min drive home from work on Apalachee Parkway. I had not driven the car more than 1,000 miles, and the car is completely out of commission. They told me there was nothing they could do there. They offered to buy back the car only if I purchased a car that was wayyyyy over my budget. They refused to work with me, and tried to pressure me into purchasing a brand new car that is over 30k and having $500+ car payments. They eventually allowed me to make the same deal turning in my Ford for a $21k vehicle I couldn’t afford. There is a long maintenance list at Ford, and so it would take over a month to get the car looked at. Peter Boulware wouldn’t give me a loaner. They only let me use the $21k car because I planned on buying it. I asked for a loaner while it was getting fixed and they told me that I could rent one($). After two days, I refused the offer and left upset. I don’t have much money, and I didn’t expect to get jammed up by a place that was said to do great business. I put down $500 down payment and payed another $~1500 on the car to pay it off faster. That money is down the drain. Now, I am trading the car in at another dealership, getting a new car elsewhere, and looking into legal action. BUYER BEWARE.

Ms. Padgett purchased a pre-owned vehicle from us AS-IS. The vehicle clearly stated when she purchased it that it was AS-IS. We have no control over the backlog at the Ford dealership for repairs necessary for Ms. Padgett. Therefore, it is not our responsibility to provide a loaner vehicle. We understand her transportation problem and Brannon Snead, our General Sales Manager, worked with her to solve her transportation issues. We did not take advantage of her and tried to assist her. On August 13, 2024 we offered the full value of the Ford vehicle she purchased from us a a trade in on another vehicle. She agreed to this deal at the time. However, she subsequently changed her mind and informed that she was keeping the Ford.

For weeks, I have made numerous attempts to get PB to make right on the situation as there was no buyers guide given or shown. If someone cant afford crazy car payments, you guys shouldnt force people into to it. I saw numerous reviews where elderly were being sold cars with $1000 monthly payments and good people in need of an affordable vehicle have being sold used cars in need of serious work. That is exactly my situation and it only makes sense to look to you guys to get me out of it, not be ghosted when I refuse to be put in another tough spot. I only wanted a car with a warranty that I could afford. I trusted you and I trusted the dealership. It seems like a bigger payday was wanted rather than trying to help. After obtaining the service records for the vehicle from *********** ***** I learned that the car has a long history of transmission issues, last date being January 2024. I also have the contact information for the previous owner(email and phone).Ive emailed, messaged through social media, and called numerous times. This is now how you treat customers. The only place I havent called is 3 on your side. Everyone is an mvp until they give their money to this poorly run scheme

I don't recommend this dealer to anyone because they are liars and cheaters. They have no respect for customers, they just want to sell the cars to customers. They trick you and show you a document and then make you electronically sign another one very quickly so that you don't have time to review and make you believe that they are the numbers that they initially showed you.

I purchased a 2013 Chevrolet **** Silverado on 10/30/2023. I offered and was accepted to pay $14,000 for the truck I signed a document for that amount. I paid cash. I did not want any extra warranties or dealer added items and signed a document stating that. When it was time to sign the paperwork it was closing time and the manager rushed me through the paper work. I later looked at the paper work and realized I paid ******** for the truck, this did not include tax, title and license. I also discovered that the dealership installed a *** tracker that I did not want and stated that I did not want it. I called the salesman ************************* and stated that I did not want the tracker and that I was charged more than I was supposed to. He told me to bring the truck in and they would remove it. He made no comment about the overcharge. I sent ************** an email asking to forward the letter to the general manager since I did not know his address. He never acknowledge my email. I have called the Peter Boulware dealership to speak to the General/Sales manager and left voice mails, no return calls. I called the ****************** to make an appointment to remove the *** tracker, no return call, I tried to make an appointment online and no appointments are available for the rest of 2023.All I want is a refund of $3401.67 and tax. I will go elsewhere to have the *** tracker removed. I will add that I am a repeat customer and several family members have bought cars from the old dealership, none of us had any problems with the paperwork.

****************** purchased a vehicle from ** on Septembe 30, 2023. All of his paperwork, as signed by him, shows an out the door price of $20,000. His check was for $20,000. We gave him $2,921.15 discount on the vehicle to get to this price which included taxes, tag, registration and dealer fees. We do not feel that we owe him any compensation on this transaction. i have copies of all the paperwork and our General Sales Manager will be happy to sit down with ****************** and explain his transaction in further detail.

I shouldve looked at the reviews before buying a car from this dealership. I went in telling them I did not want any warranties for my car. Every time **** brought out a paper to discuss the trade in I told him I want to see the number with out the warranty added and he repeatedly told me not to worry about that. He would give me the price when we were in his office making the deal. Well when we got into his office to make the deal he slipped two warranties in on me. I didnt realize until I got home and put the drive in my computer and saw. I then had to go back to the dealership and fight to get my money back which I was told I would get back in seven days and I have yet got it back. Plus now *************************** is saying he didnt say 7 days he said 4 to 6 weeks. This dealership takes there words and twist them all around. I have bought 3 brand new cars from different dealerships and I have never bought the warranties for them. This is the first time I have been lied to and they have snuck them in on me. Also when you are signing the final paperwork he never lets you see the numbers. You just sign on his fancy desk computer that Im guessing they bought by ripping people off. Do yourself a favor and save yourself a headache and go to thomasville Toyota just over the state line.

************** purchased a vehicle from ** on October 7, 2023. She was presented the menu and agreed to purchase the warranty products. We have security cameras and DocuPad equipment to document how the transaction was handled. The cameras and computers are strickly for compliance. **** did not do anything that was intended to take advantage of **************. Her contract was funded by the lender of October 10, 2023.When ****************** husband opened the *** drive to review the documents, he saw the warranty products. He came to the dealership and requested that we cancel the products. We cancelled the products by issuing a check to the lien holder. ************** was provided a copy of the check #****** dated October 19, 2023 that was issued to the lien holder for full cancellation of the warranties. The funds are applied to her contract reducing the amount she owes the lien holder as the warranties were financed as part of her transaction.I am sorry for the confusion, but we did not lie to her, or sneak any warranties on her deal. Everything was properly disclosed. The cancellations were processed timely as per her request.

I filed for bankruptcy back in April of this year. I thought I'd get to keep my car, but unfortunately, I was told it was an asset, so I had to surrender it. I had to find another car so I went to Peter Boulware Toyota. I informed them of my situation and they said they could help me. I told them that I did not yet have my Chapter 7 bankruptcy discharge papers, but expected them late October or possibly November. They got the car financed, but the finance company backed out. Toyota, of course, wanted the car back. The finance guy rudely told me to bring the car back, because I didn't have my discharge papers. I'd given them $2000 upfront and I'd asked for it back. The man I spoke to said he didn't know. I called the finance manager and had to leave my name and number, but he wouldn't call me back. They have the car but did not give me my money back.

Horrible business. Service manager is racist. They discriminate against the elderly. They take advantage of the elderly and defraud them of their service. Toyota need to be investigated for fraud and customers abuse.

I purchased a car on July 5 and was told to pick it up July 6. I didnt hear anything July 6. I called after after 5 pm and was told it would be there July 7. I didnt hear anything July 7. I left a message with the manager, ***. Around 5:30, I called the mainline and was transferred to ****** (salesperson). He said the car didn't come in and would call us later. 8:00 pm the dealership closes, and I hadn't heard back. I emailed ***, never got a response. ****** reached out late that night to let me know the car will be there Monday. Monday, July 10, the car isnt there. The manager hasnt called. I spoke with ******. I let him know I called and emailed *** and never got a response. ***** said a manager would contact me before they close. No one called.Tuesday, July 11 still hadn't heard from a manager. I put a review on ********* someone commented they were going to go to the media. Then a manager (*******) called. She asked me what they can do to make it right, I provided suggestions, she said she needed to talk to her **. Wednesday, July 12, she texted to ask when the ** could call on Thursday, July 13. I gave times, she said the ** was in staff meetings and asked for Friday. I said I had a similar schedule. No response.9 am Thursday I texted "At this point, what I would actually like is a refund of my deposit, to cancel the loan, get the title of my husband's car back (or the $1,500 for it that was going towards the RAV4) and to take my business to **** to purchase the Bronco Sport we almost purchased instead." Then the first manager (***) texted me saying yes to the refund, canceling the loan, and getting back the title. I asked for a date to get the check and title, he told me he was going to ask. An hour later, I texted back asking if he had an update. He did not. It is now the end of the day, and I still do not know when I will get the $5,000 downpayment back or if the loan is actually cancelled. I've been sent no paperwork or proof of cancellation.

We issued a check for $5,000 to **************** on 7/13/2023. It is company policy to allow 10 days after a check is receipted to issue a refund. That allows time for the check to clear the customer's bank. Our check number ****** cleared our bank on 07/17/2023.

Deceptive practices. Attempted to purchase an automobile, dealership would not accept my offer - I left. Later, salesman called back and asked if I was still interested if they could give me the deal I requested. At this point the New Car Manager, Jessica begins texting me and offers me a deal. I confirm the deal, repeat it back, then ask her to verify her offer before I make the trip to the dealership. Then in text, I formally accept her terms. She tells me the paperwork is already written out. I contact my auto insurance company and then get a ride to the dealership. When I get there and am filling out paperwork, they have it completed but are asking for an addition $3k down payment. Jessica says it’s her mistake, that it’s been a busy day. At this point things get heated Jessica gets aggressive (she says direct) and she calls in the Finance Manager who supports Jessica. I must add that they did offer gas for my trip. I do have all the texts where I ask her to confirm the terms 3 separate times. I have these texts if anyone would like to see. Horrible experience on the lot. These people are not ethical and use deceptive practices to try and force you into a deal. I’m very interested to see how they spin a response, especially given that I asked Jessica to verify what she was telling me before I made the trip to the dealership. I bet they won’t respond. Also, interestingly enough, this would have been my 4th car purchased from this dealership.

We are sorry about the way the transaction went with ****************. ******* admitted she made a mistake about the down payment amount. There were multiple texts and she got confused between the $5,000 down and $8,000 down. However, we were never trying to deceive ****************. We would like the opportunity to satisfy **************** if he would let us know what we can do to make him happ. We did offer to pay for his gas for the trip.
