On Nov. 17th & 18th, 2022 Coolz Air Conditioning (***********************) installed a new 4 ton Air conditioner ($9,200.) in our home. On Dec. the 4th we came home from church to a flood. ***** was called & after some time working on the unit he admitted to our Guest and to us that his worker had installed 2 pipes incorrectly and that the float valves did not work. They continued work on it Mon. & Tues. He left that Tuesday late afternoon stating all was fixed. On Wed I had a general contractor come over to access the new air conditioner because I did not feel good about it being dry. It was installed in our attic. The Gen ********** told us that we had a mess. It was WET & that They CUT a TRUSS to try and make the air conditioner fit. The ** was too large in physical sizing to install properly in the attics allotted space. The emergency pan with rails had been cut causing air handler to be lower than needed for draining. The internal primary pan is holding majority of the water in the rear of pan. Not draining to the front drain port. There was water coming into the air handler instead of draining out. A ****** County Permit was not Pulled & the job was Not Installed to Code. He was not forth coming with his liability insurance to me and I had to defer to my **** *** to get his information. I was told on Jan. 3rd 2023 that a a claim was finally made with his liability **** On Jan. 17th an ins adjuster came to access our damages. My Mom is 82 years old and I live here taking care of her. She is a cancer patient currently on chemo and has scared lungs from covid and is also on oxygen. She is a diabetic from the cancer meds and also battles orthostatic hypotension. ***** repetitively lied to us about their being no water damage and assured us that he fixed everything. He did Not! The ** unit had to be completely replaced. The **************** have to be replaced, a closet where water was dripping has *************** Vanities have to be replaced.
