They do not take pride in their business! Even their sub contractors dont! Where do I begin! ******* left out on the ground for months. Warped! Joints in the roof have 1 to 2 inch gaps. Roof not safe to put up solar panels. Had to put a new roof on last than a year in the house. New roofer could not put shingles bails up on the roof. The roof was bowing. Garage floor has large drops of concrete on the floor. Yup, we trip over them all the time. Electrical panel is upside down on the garage wall! Plywood put down on the upstairs floor never nailed down! But the sub contractor who did the carpet still put the carpet down! No surge protectors in the bathroom outlets. Thought that was code? Some electrical outlets didnt work. Had one installed in walk in closet. Did not work unless you had the light on. Who leaves a light on in a closet all night long? Painters missed so many spots. Molding cutting has gaps. Doors hung with some hinge pins missing. Handles on some door fell off. Now we come to the grass! They never leveled the lawn. They never rolled the lawn after rolling the grass. Oh, the sprinkler system they put a sprinkler right at the back door! All said and done! We tried taking them to court. But you guessed it they have a multitude of lawyers. Corporation against a homeowner who is just trying to pay the mortgage. Court cost for us to great for our budget. Oh, before I go! The inspector! Well seems he inspects a great many of there houses! Seems to me a conflict of interest. What ever happened to take pride in what you build? Sorry Maronda Homes! Go back to where you started and build better homes!

This review is for Maronda Homes ********** (Flagler County).I signed a contract to purchase an existing home build in ********** the original purchaser backed out on in January 2022. At first all was well but then issues with the builder began. Original closing date was supposed to be the end of June 2022. We finally closed in the middle of October. All the delays were attributed to ***** when some were issues from suppliers. The execution of the project was lackadaisical, issues that should have been caught by the construction supervisor were not. We were not treated honestly, were marginalized, bullied and simple requests ignored. Simply put there were/are too many issues from poor supervision, contracting work done at a bare minimum lacking pride of workmanship, poor execution, total laziness by several sub-contractors to be listed in this short review. While point some issues to the construction supervisor, he became upset at the constructive criticism and yelled at us to, "Get of our '****' off our property!!!" Problem was we were under contract and this was our property. This was reported to Maronda Homes Construction VP and this point forward we met with the County Production Manager (the construction supervisor's boss). The landscaping crew were drinking while landscaping the yard, and the results were definitely indicative of this. The landscaping was so bad that Maronda Homes agreed to replace the original sod 6 weeks after the original installation at their cost. The drainage swale grading was ruined by the two landscaping jobs. This has been reported to Maronda Homes and we were told Maronda would correct this. We were told the sub-contractor said the grade was fine. We have contacted *************************** and gave a detailed account for this, including pictures. Now we are being ignored by Maronda Homes and no attempt to correct their issue is being discussed. We just want the drainage swale fixed that their subs ruined so we can move on.
