    On 8/19/22 I purchased tickets totaling $186.72 to the monster truck chaos tour for the 7pm show on 8/27/22 in Poughkeepsie. First lie - it's not in Poughkeepsie. Not even close to Poughkeepsie.
    2. The "free" pit party is anything but free. For a child to go in a bouncy house it's $7 for 5 minutes in that bouncy house. $21 per person to get a ride in a monster truck that lasts about 30 seconds.
    3. The description of the event is a complete lie. There's no excitement. There were 3 monster trucks in total. All they did was go over tiny jumps. No donuts, no two wheels, nothing. There were 3 dirt bike riders also.
    4. A useless intermission that was beyond unnecessary.
    5. Charging $5 for water when you can't bring in your own reusable bottle for your kids in the middle of August when it's 90 degrees out. I can buy a case of water for $5.
    6. Purchasing popcorn only to find out it was $15!
    7. Parking was $15.
    8. Disgusting porter johns
    9. Last but not least the most disturbing part was for souvenirs they were selling toy AR15's that lit up and shot bubbles out of them. In the dark if they weren't lit up it just looked like a kid walking around with a massive gun. Last time I checked AR15's had nothing to do with monster trucks.
    10. This experience was so disappointing and such a scam. I would be extremely happy with a refund for my tickets.

    The trucks perform sometimes 3 shows in a day. They are mechanical and things do happen to the trucks. We have a mechanic, and he usually tries to fix the trucks at the event so they can continue the show. Sometimes this is not possible depending on what has happened.

    This event hosted was not was was advertised at all!. We drove 2 hours with our children to come see this event at the 2pm show in ********, ** and arrived earlier for the 2 hour pit party and there was absolutely nothing advertised there other the monster truck ride and the dirty bounce house which looked like it hadn't been cleaned in god knows how long and didn't even stay inflated. We paid a total of ****** inside the event plus 20 in cash for junk! The sodas were disgusting they tasted flat and honestly it's u telling how long they've had them the food looked like gas station food! The **** PARTY" that we came. We so early for yea nope, nothing happening. It was advertised all over ******** and I'm attaching proof there was no face painting and I have the screenshot of the FALSE ADVERTISEMENT posted on ********. It was bare, this was an absolute shameful event! We never met one driver at all!!! The event didn't even start at 2 then the first truck didn't even work but for literally a minute then took off back to the pit area because it had issues then when the trucks came out they really didn't do anything then the dirt bikes came out then the "20"minute intermission that turned into about 40 minute intermission. They came back out then basically didnt do much of anything after that. What did we pay for???? You all also advertise that it is an approximate 2 hour show NOPE!! This was an awful experience! My kids begged to leave! So disappointed!! We paid over ****** in debit not including our cash inside but including tickets a total of ****** for what???!!! Plus driving a total of 4 hours back and forth just to see nothing and my kids to be disappointed Do better!

    Purchased tickets for my family of 4 - $30 for each adult ticket, free kids ticket with each adult. Was excited to take my kids to see Monster Trucks and enjoy the activities and events that they advertise. Face painting, Bounce Houses, Monster Truck rides and souvenirs. We drove an hour to get there, 2 hours before show time to enjoy the Pit Party and activities... It was such a fraud. $15 parking, $7 per kid on the ONE bounce house - NO face painting - The place was just empty. There was nothing to do for 2 hours. But stand there in the heat! $5 for water, $15 for slushes, $10 for lemonade... $21 PER PERSON for a 2 minute ride on a monster truck. I mean the prices are OUTRAGEOUS. You were not allowed to take anything in, not even a water bottle! But what if you do not have the money to spend on a $10 lemonade? Or ONE $5 water? For a family? You're there in the heat for 4 hours with nothing for your young kids! The souvenirs were not even Monster Truck related. They were plastic toy guns and light up swords. For $25! The show was supposed to start at 7, and last for around 2 hours. It started at about 7:20, by 7:45 there was an "intermission" - 30 minutes later restart, and it lasted another 20 minutes, give or take. Every single speaker went out except 1, so you could hear nothing the mic guy was trying to say - not to mention the music playing while he was talking. The experience was an awful experience and I am truly disappointed. Each truck did 2-3 laps, and 3 jumps each and that was it for the monster trucks. EXTREMELY disappointing. Not at ALL what is advertised, complete false advertising. I understand the concept of marketing, and advertising, but creating false hype & not being transparent with consumers is not a good way to do business.

    This event was underwhelming to say the least... they actually managed to make a monster truck show that was boring. What a waste of time. The goal is to drag things out in hopes that people pay for overpriced food and drink. Huge amount of people left at intermission. If the show was any good people would stay for second half. . Especially when the weather is great and not too hot. The MC was begging people not to leave, because even he knew it was boring show. Not a scam, but obviously no effort in making a somewhat decent show. Bare minimum effort. Wish I looked at reviews before wasting my time and money. All the reviews are complaints.

    My family purchased tickets for the Monster Trucks Mayhem Tour. It was $107 for two $45 tickets after taxes and fees. When we arrived today parking was an additional $15. Okay, that's expensive but whatever. The venue doesn't allow outside food or drinks. They were charging $4 for a 12oz bottle of generic water and $6 for a 12oz Sprite. Price gouging people in the middle of the outdoor heat who had no choice but to spend the ridiculous amount to keep from dehydrating. The seating was bleachers that were over packed to the point many people couldn't even sit yet they wouldn't allow people to stand in front of the bleachers or in the only other clear areas. It was an absolute scam. The show was not even close to what was advertised. The show was stated to be 2 hours and they didn't mention the 30 minute break so it was really only a little over an hour with the break and the constant stopping of the show. This organization shouldn't be allowed to rip people off in this manner.

    We paid almost 100 dollars on tickets to see the Monster Truck z show. We first had trouble getting our tickets and to call the company to receive the tickets we purchased. We arrived at the Monster Truck z show two hours early as the website suggests only to find out that there was nothing for our four year old son to do we had to pay for him to ride the monster truck when we were led to believe that he would get to ride the monster truck for free it was 21 dollars and we had to pay additional 7 for the bouncy house, the show only had 4 monster trucks in it and one ( avalanche ) broke down in the first half of the show. For the amount of money we spent we were expecting a little more of a show and expected a little more professionalism then what we saw I would never recommend Monster Truckz to anyone honesty

    AMNT of transaction - $***** (1 adult GA, 1 military ticket), $** cash to park at show, $** cash for 45 second monster truck ride for 2 people.
    Our family attended the Monster Truckz show on 8/13/**22 which required us to travel 1 hr ** mins which would have been fine if the show was as advertised. Our son especially was super excited to see the monster trucks and the show but by the end we were all quite disappointed. The monster trucks themselves maybe ran a total of a half hour out of the 1 1/2 hour show, the rest of the show was the dirt bike team, human cannonball (which was 1 trick) and intermission. Honestly the dirt bike team was the best part of the show had we actually been able to see them from our seats. On the shows website it boasted visiting the "free pit party" 2 hours prior to show time where you could meet drivers, have pictures taken with them, ride a monster truck, kids could play in bounce house or ride a big slide. We justified the heavy price of the adult admission based on the free kids tickets and the activities listed in the "free pit party", none of which was actually free other than meet & greet with drivers. All in all ended up being over a $*** day for our family with concession prices added in to overall cost. I am not one to typically complain about companies and this is the 1st BBB complaint I have made on a business, but i feel this is deserving because of the outrageous prices vs the product advertised and the actual product received by the customer and I hope others are made aware before throwing hard earned money out the window. I will instead take our family to the actual Monster Jam show where tickets are roughly $** a piece and will require us to travel out of state and get a hotel room but will still end up spending the same or less then we did on this scam of a show.

    My father, my wife, my 4 year old son, and myself attended the monster truckz event in Millville on 8/7/22. To say we feel completely scammed would be an understatement. For starters, everything is severely overpriced. $20 for parking (more than some professional ballparks), $10 for a lemonade, $12 for a cotton candy, $21 for a 1 minute monster truck "ride". Worse, they oversold the event greatly, and there was not nearly enough seating. The four of us had to stand in the corner behind a tall fence with 50+ other people, which made it challenging to even see the "show". But the worst part by far was that out of a supposed 2 hour show that was meant to feature monstertruckz throughout, there was 20 minutes of monster trucks, 20+ minutes of intermissions, 10-15 minutes of dirtbikes, and an hour of the host yelling "make some noise" while absolutely nothing happened. The trucks themselves essentially drove over a small dirt mound, with no real tricks or thrills or anything whatsoever. My four year old, whom we bought the tickets for as a birthday present, requested to leave multiple times because it was not fun and unexciting. On top of all of this, all of the promo videos show the trucks doing real tricks, crushing cars, high flying, etc, none of which happened whatsoever, so completely false advertising. The only thing these people seemed to remotely care about was peddling the absolute junk that 20 different concession people were yelling about in front of the stands during the entire show. Literally, everywhere you looked was a concession person trying to sell absolute junk headphones, toy guns, swords, etc, for ridiculous prices none the less. Extremely disappointed, and feel completely cheated and scammed. Was expecting a great monster truck show, but ended up being nothing close to that.

    We attended the tour on 8/7/22. Advertising for the Monster Truckz show is entirely inaccurate. Visual and written advertisements display monster trucks jumping over large dirt ramps, doing tricks and wheelies, going over crushed cars, dirt bikes doing tricks over jumps- this isnt what the actual show is at all. The trucks do nothing but drive back and forth over small bumps a handful of times and the dirt bikes didn't do any tricks or even hit a jump enough to come off of the ground. The amateur teenage drivers from town do more extensive tricks than this show of professionals which we paid to see. The trucks drove around for 20 minutes before having a 45 minute intermission and then driving around for an additional 20 minutes but the show is advertised as being approx 2 hours. It was over 90 degrees outside and very sunny but we couldn't even bring in one sealed bottle of water. We were told we had to purchase drinks inside and when I went to the concession stand the employee told me she had nothing to drink and suggested I buy something from the actual venue instead. Mind you the venue says outside beverages were fine but monstertruckz wouldn't allow it. So if I was unable to purchase water, monstertruckz expected me to sit for extended time in sun and 90 degree weather with no form of hydration or shade. This event should advertise what they're actually presenting and needs to be mindful of the dangers of heat exhaustion with refused access to affordable and acceptable hydration in direct sunlight in high temperatures.

    Safety of the drivers and audience are a factor at every show. If it is unsafe to do any part of the show they will not do them. The trucks perform sometimes 3 shows in a day. They are mechanical and things do happen to the trucks. We have a mechanic and he usually tries to fix the trucks at the event so they can continue the show. Sometimes this is not possible depending on what has happened.

    Water was available for purchase along with many other concessions at our show.
    Venue and Talent are subject to change without notice and are not grounds for a refund. Anything promised by the promoter that is unfulfilled is not guaranteed by the seller and is not grounds for a refund.

    My dad was given free kids tickets at tinker Air Force base to the event in Shawnee, Oklahoma the weekend of August 5-7. The tickets advertise a FREE pit party two hours before the show with monster truck rides. No where on the ticket or website did it have a disclaimer that the rides, bounce houses, or pit party would actually cost. They were advertised as FREE. Upon arrival we learned that it was $7 for the bounce house and $21 per person for a 60 second ride on the truck. This tactic was very clearly to get people to show up with their excited children so they'd feel obligated to pay for the rides since there was no re entry once inside two hours early. Which the tickets told you to be there for. I saw so many children get their heart broken because their parents weren't expecting that. Including my own. It was 100 degrees outside and they were charging $5 for water alone. They charged us 20.80 to park, 91.82 for tickets for 3 adults and that was with military discount ($60 each without), 65.52 for 3 people on the monster truck, $20 for water, and $15 for popcorn. All for the dirt bikes to be the only exciting thing about the show. They started almost 20 minutes late. The trucks ran for maybe 10 minutes of the entire show, and they barely did anything during that time. My monster truck obsessed 3 year old was begging to leave by half time. Not to mention the concession workers obstructing our view of the show by shoving ear covers and light swords in our face the entire show. I understand expenses. But being honest in your business tactics to get people to come to something would be better. The prices would be more accepted if you didn't trick people into them. Literally, monster jam tickets are $30 a piece at a real arena with a real show and no scams. I was excited to support smaller drivers. I was very disappointed in the scam work. $214 for my kids to leave telling me they never want to go back. If you do it for the kids, you're certainly failing.

    Our website states "Visit "The Pit Party" FREE. It doesn't state that the other things in the kids' zone are free. We apologize for the confusion on this.
    We try to keep the prices reasonable. It is quite expensive to travel and perform, we have a lot of expenses, venue rent, fuel, permits etc. The prices are set so that we will be able to continue to perform all over the country giving people who may not otherwise have the opportunity to see a truck show. The purchase of concessions is optional. If we lower the concessions and the rides, we would be forced to raise the price of admission and we feel that would prohibit people from being able to attend the show at all.

    They state their website says visit the pit party but that does not excuse the false advertisement on the ticket. In fact when you go to the website, if you go straight to the date/location of the show you'd like to go to it does NOT say "visit the pit party for free" it says, "MONSTER TRUCKZ TOUR PIT PARTY: ride in a monster truck, get up close to your favorite monster truck, personal autographs, and pictures with the stars of MONSTER TRUCK. The Pit Party starts two hours prior to event times." I will include a picture of my ticket that was given to the men and women at tinker air force base as well that also DOES NOT SAY VISIT FOR FREE. The drivers didn't show up to signs autographs for the kids. The show was literally trash. The workers were obstructing our view with their overpriced cheaply made **** the ENTIRE show. It was ridiculous. We were scammed, but you should do better and change this advertisement. Your copy and paste response is sad. Do better. I fully intended on spending extra on concessions and gifts for my children but the dishonest Advertising costing us that much extra caused us to not be able to do so. The people going to events like this know it costs a lot to keep up with the trucks. We intend to spend our money to support these people. But when you gauge us for every penny with scam artist tactics and don't even give a half *** attempt at a decent show that's down right wrong. I want more than a copy and paste answer. I can clearly see that you've used the same response with every other complaint.
