1 starI placed an order with DermaClear that was advertised as approximately $40 for 3 bottles. However, my card was charged nearly $250 without showing a confirmation page. I immediately emailed them to cancel the order, but they refused and instead offered a discount or the option to return the product for a refund. I returned the product and was told I would be refunded within 3–5 business days after they received it. Over 20 days after they confirmed receipt, I called to inquire about the refund. A representative initially said they would only refund me $179 due to “processing fees.” I explained that I had tried to cancel the order immediately and had followed all instructions for the return. After speaking with his supervisor, he said they agreed to refund me the full amount. Since they claimed my card couldn’t be refunded, they offered to send the full refund via eCheck. I clearly told them I do not have a U.S. bank account (as I’m on a visitor visa), but they insisted the eCheck could be printed and cashed at any bank in the U.S. or abroad. That was untrue — I went to multiple banks and services like Western Union, all of which confirmed the eCheck appeared suspicious or fraudulent and could not be processed. I have repeatedly contacted DermaClear by phone and email. They either hang up, give scripted responses, or promise callbacks that never happen. One advisor (named Joy) promised to follow up but never did. To date, I have not received my refund, despite returning the product and following their instructions in good faith.Dermaclear

I have explained multiple times, even before you guys sent the echeck, that I do not have a US bank account. The echeck has only the option to deposit to a US bank account. How many times should I repeat the same story on the situation that you guys put me in, in the first place. I have proposed that you guys void the check and send a physical check under either my name or someone who is in the US. Now you are responding here but what about ignoring all my emails for more than a week!Review fromLaura H

1 starBuyer beware! At first I thought I was ordering 3 bottles for $39.99 total plus getting 3 bottles free. My mistake, it was $39.99 per bottle plus 3 bottles free, so you're looking at a ~$120 charge (3 bottles x $39.99). The checkout page gave me a total of $39.99. I pressed the purchase button and my purchase was declined. I immediately got an alert from my credit card that the vendor was trying to charge me $239.99. I marked that I recognized the purchase and my card stated that by recognizing the purchase the bank would not cancel my card and would not complete the transaction, I would have to make the transaction again myself. I did not attempt the transaction again yet a little while later I get an email saying my order is placed. I check my credit card account and sure enough there is a pending transaction for $239.99. Immediately I called the phone number listed in the order's email and they tried to only refund me half ($120), which, according to the buy 3 bottles, get 3 free ad, should have been the price in the first place. I declined this offer and the rep said they could issue a full refund if I return the product. I declined stating there is nothing to return, the order had not been placed by me and that the vendor charged my card without my knowledge after the first attempted charge was declined by my credit company. I told the rep this email confirming "my order" was received not 10-20 minutes ago, the product hasn't even left it's shelf yet please issue a full refund. The rep escalated my request and about 5 minutes later confirmed they were able to cancel the account and the transaction. I received an "order voided" email and the pending transaction was removed from my credit card. I also confirmed with the rep that I was not attached to any subscriptions or future transactions. I am still proceeding with cancelling my credit card just in case. Lesson learned: Always check with BBB for scams before purchasing online!Dermaclear

1 starI made an online purchase for this product. What I selected and the amount shown on the screen WAS NOT what was charged to my bank account. It would seem that this is common practice for this company. I read a previous complaint filed and that persons story is EXACTLY what I experienced. I thought I
would be paying $39.99 for the product yet was charged $239.99
The website is very misleading and you should be ashamed of yourselves.
I filed a dispute through my back. They never responded. After the dispute was closed, I requested and still have not received the refund. I was told I needed to do a 3-way call with the bank. Every time I tried to make the call, I'd get disconnected. I gave the back the number for them to call and tell them the dispute has been closed. Still nothing. I received a letter from my back. With the closure number. They did not want b to accept it and started to tell me how many times I've called and I still need to do the 3- way call. They are experts at giving you the run around And a supervisor or manager is NEVER AVAILABLE.

The refund policy is inconsistent on the website (60 days full refund), Customer Service Representative (30 days full refund, and Refund Policy & Terms (180 days full refund). The offer is misleading, if the customer thinks they are making a one-time purchase, once the purchase is complete, the company automatically subscribes the customer to a monthly subscription and charges.Dermaclear

If you have not cancelled your account has rolled into a monthly subscription as agreed to by the terms and conditions (you had to agree to the terms to be able to place the order). We did not receive a cancellation request from you in the allotted time, so we naturally assumed that you were satisfied with the product and charged you accordingly, as agreed to by the Terms and Conditions.
Our 30-day refund period begins from the order date, not from the shipping date or the date you received the product. This policy is in place because order processing, including inventory allocation and payment handling, begins at the time of purchase.
Moreover, we have issued a full refund for the second order on 04/21/2025 and as a courtesy,we issued 50% refund for the original order.

As soon as I ordered my credit card was charged ******, with no way to cancel. Beware of this ad, they make it appear you are getting two bottles at *****. Don't be fooled!Dermaclear

1 starBe very careful with this company. the product was recommended by a friend and I started to order it, a4 $64.99 even for 2 bottles (buy one get one free) I decided to abort the order. The next day I receive a text with a 25% discount. I follow the link, same deal buy one get one free but this time, $47.74. I place the order, the website showed the same deal but they charged my card $97.49, more than the original deal. I did not receive a copy of the order but received a text from my credit card showing they charged me $97.49Dermaclear
