    On August 22, 2023 we ( my husband and I)tried Aamco for our food truck to do oil change and tuneup since because we got the truck in February, it was time. When we picked up the truck the day 24th or the 25th because I remembered on the 25th we had an event and the truck started overheating that never happened before, on next event on the 29th of August, the truck stopped while driving, again never happened before, I called Aamco talked to *****, I was told to drop off the truck which was done the following day, I was charged $314 of course before they for the oil change I was charged $1277 which totally screwed up my truck. They couldnt fixed the overheating, whatever they did that screwed up my truck and freeze my business for a month now, I had to pay other people so far$3000 to start back functioning.

    ***************** BROUGHT HIS 2009 **** E 350 SUPER DUTY VEHICLE TO AAMCO ON 8/21/2023 WITH THE COMPLAINT THAT IT WAS RUNNING ROUGH AND TRYING TO CUT OFF. IT WAS DIAGNOSED WITH RANDOM MISFIRING AND THE REPAIR OFFERED AND AUTHORIZED WAS A TUNE UP, REPLACING AIR FILTER AND ALL SPARK PLUGS AND COILS. THE WORK WAS DONE AND VEHICLE DELIVERED ON 8/22/2023 FOR A COST OF $1277.30.

    ***************** RETURNED ON 8/31ST AND THIS TIME THE VEHICLE WAS GETTING HOT AND LOSING COOLANT. DIAGNOSIS REVEALED A LEAKING THERMOSTAT. A COMPRESSION TEST WAS DONE AND THERE WERE NO OTHER LEAKS. THE REPAIR WAS AUTHORIZED AND THE THERMOSTAT HOUSING AND STOPLIGHT LAMP WAS REPLACED AND COOLANT WAS REFILLED.. THE VALUE OF THIS JOB WAS $314.44 AND VEHICLE DELIVERED ON 8/31ST.

    ***************** CAME BACK WITH THE VEHICLE ON 9/20TH. IT WAS OVERHEATING AND THE DIAGNOSIS WAS A LEAKING WATER PUMP. THIS VEHICLE IS A HYBRID AND THE WATER PUMP IS DIFFICULT TO GET TO SO HE WAS REFERRED TO ANOTHER SHOP THAT HAD THE CAPABILITY TO DO THIS JOB.

    ALL REPAIRS DONE BY AAMCO ARE WARRANTIED AND NONE OF THE ISSUES PRESENTED WERE CAUSED BY ANY WORK DONE AT AAMCO. THERE WILL BE NO REFUND.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    My truck as you know did not get to Aamco on a towing vehicle, did not have overheating issues, if you did know how to do a job, you just don't do it and mess up everything because you want to make money. I paid for some overheating and you can't do it, I deserve to get that money back.

    WE WILL NOT BE GOING BACK AND FORTH WITH NAME CALLING AND UNKIND WORDS. 

    WE WILL STATE ONLY THE ****** THERE IS NO ISSUE WITH THE WORK WE DID. ALL THE PARTS REPLACED ARE STILL ON THE VEHICLE AND WORKING PROPERLY.

    WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS RETURNED TO THE SHOP  20 DAYS AFTER THE SECOND REPAIR ****************** WAS REFERRED TO ANOTHER FACILITY WE KNEW WOULD BE ABLE TO PROPERLY COMPLETE THAT REPAIR. WE DID NOT ATTEMPT TO DO REPAIRS THAT WE KNEW WE COULD NOT DO AS YOU ALLUDED TO IN YOUR  DEROGATORY COMMENTS.

    Aamco responded both times to the customers statements. the second response is September 28th and i was able to  see it in your records just now. Someone there missed it.

    The customer said she rejected the first response.

    I have no intention of going back and forth and taking out my frustration by calling the customers names and disparaging them.

    The vehicle was brought to this facility and both times presented with different issues as explained in the first response.

    Repairs were done and vehicle delivered.

    On the final visit the vehicle was referred to another facility to replace the leaking water pump which was causing the vehicle to overheat.

    Aamco did not attempt to fix the water pump but sent the customer to a shop that we knew would be able to make the proper repair.

    If we were looking just to make money as the customer is suggesting we would NOT have referred them some place else so THIS

    ACCUSATION HAS NO MERIT.  We can choose to blame other people for our problems or we can look at the situation honestly.

    Unfortunately the vehicle was down back to back for repairs which meant the vehicle was out of service during this time.

    Just like Aamco said said, they collected the money and couldn't fixed the issue, we were sent away to others people that they know, they couldn't fixed it either, so we made some calls and a shop in *******, ** , they were able to fixed it, the over heated issue happened because the fans were not working. That's the reason I want my money back from them, if you don't know how to do it just don't!
