My Mother is elderly woman that is disabled and living on section 8 at this property Pembroke Gardens. She has resided here for well over 10 years with no issues at all. My mother ********** in August 2022 was scheduled for a follow up inspection after the initial one but was not informed of this at the time and left the state to visit family. Shortly after (2 months) we were notified of the final inspections and made sure she was present for that but no one showed up. Now we are being held financially responsible for rent for the months of ****************** 2022 when my mother came back and filled her portion of the paper work and submitted it to the office before September and the office staff confirmed they sat on the paperwork for a month before filing. The payments from Sections 8 resumed in October 22. I've agreed to pay the balance for August but not for September in certified funds. My mother has also be paying for a washer and dryer that has not worked since November 22. They brought her an older one from the office to replace it and still does not work. We've requested a new washer and dryer and still nothing has happened. I've sent countless emails, made countless phone calls even flew down there to speak to someone and 10 months later we are still dealing with the same thing. My mother is 70 years old and should not have to go through this at all. We need help!
