    I was told to contact Metacom Network Support Via an internet warning that I had contacted a virus and could not use my computer, as was related in another of your customer reviews. I signed up for a lifetime subscription and paid over $3,000 based on my advanced age. After a year or two I was told I was being hacked by people trying to steal my personal information. The price of fixing this was over $30,000 dollars which I paid. Recently I was told my computer network connection was corrupted and to fix it would cost about $4,100 dollars plus 8% tax.. I agreed to that cost. When I was asked to pay, the price was over $45,000. When I said that I hadn't agreed to that, I was told that I owed the money and they would make my life miserable until I did. This is a major scam that I have been too dumb to see until now, in my humble opinion.

    I would like to file a formal complaint but I am directed by your website to file this “customer review” instead. I had an experience with Metacom almost identical to the one from 1/23 that you have posted—and in the same timeframes. I agreed to a lifetime service contract and wrote them a check for $2000. They played me for months by developing a false sense of trust, then several months later tried to sell me a multi-thousand dollar protection plan they said I needed for “external protection” on the web. With my son’s impatient advice, I stopped talking to them. They harassed me with dozens of phone calls we did not answer and finally gave up, These guys do a good job of masquerading as legit only to try and gouge you. *** **** ***** ** **** *** actually helped us as well.

    Terrible on returning calls of any kind. Keep saying so-and-so will call you back shortly or call me back tomorrow. NEVER HAPPENS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The man I talked with could not even give me their corporate office address!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What kind of corporation is this??????????????????????????? I am a paid client and cannot get any help of any kind. TERRIBLE
