            I signed up for a course and it did not inform me about the policies or anything like that. I contacted the number listed on the website, and it then wanted me to email or text the number so I did within 5-10 minutes of signing up and sending the money over so I could start the course. Then this morning I got a response from some guy named Paul who also said he was a senior supervisor. I tried to explain to this person that there was no policy or anything and he was insistent that I get a professional letter written by a lawyer or someone like that so that they could refund me my money. I also tried to explain to this person that I contacted within 5-10 minutes of signing up and making the payment and they really didn't care. I also stated that I wouldn't have paid the money if there was a brief outline or a review of what I was going to be learning in the course and this person ignored that and was just really mean and rude to me. I also have tried calling a couple of other times and the person is refusing to answer my calls or anything. I also tried filing a complaint with them a different way saying I found something better and cheaper and they said to send them the website and they will match the price and refund me my money that way but when I told them that I found one for free the person came back and said they can't do that or refund me money because of policy procedure that I didn't see on the website whatsoever. I feel like this is a scam and I really really need and want my money back as soon as possible.

            Lazy sort of. I wanted to hand out food to poor. Asked what a food handler cert covers. Copied pasted info from site and texted. Said hire a lawyer. A competitor gave me good direction to health dept. Felt sort of blow off because their lawyers said they could only tell m3 contact a lawyer. Really?! Not even health dept. Wow.

            We received a text from Scott on 12/05/2023 AT 4:10 PM " What do I need to legally hand out food to the poor in Jackson ms" We replied: 12/05/2023 AT 4:11 PM "As we are course providers, we can only answer questions about our course and our company. You will need to seek legal advice on your question as to your specific case and/or situation. I will give you the info for our food handler course though" He text, "So it's a certificate and not a certification and contact the local health dept. Thanks!" - 12/05/2023 AT 4:19 PM We replied "This is a course that those who are handling food need to take. Now as far as a business is concerned you will need to ask for legal advice and or check with your local health dept." - 12/05/2023 AT 4:21 PM We replied to all questions asked and he found out that he did not have to take the course in his specific situation. We provided instructions to seek legal advice and he could also contact the health dept. as everyone's case is different and we did not want to provide inaccurate information. We were neither lazy in our responses nor inaccurate as we did instruct him to contact the health dept as evidenced in the text thread communication. Where many companies today are looking to just collect fees for services and give answers that may not be accurate, we prefer to be safe and cautious and instruct any potential client to get the most accurate information about their specific situation before making a purchase. In this person's case, our cautious approach was beneficial for him as he took our advice, contacted the health dept and found out a purchase for this type of course was not required for his situation.
