    They left us without a/c 2 separate times overnight in the summer heat. They misdiagnosed the problem, left us with instructions to finish the repair and left leaving exposed wires laying in the inside garage unit and our load management off. Both times they left at 5 pm - they wouldn't stay and fix the problem. We had to hire someone else that came out right away and fixed it. We asked for a refund for the second misdiagnosis but they only ignore us and will not respond. I would not recommend using this company if your a/c is not working.

    I had an issue in which the blower would not turn off. They installed the system, so, I called them. It turned out to be a chip issue. Luckily, I inquired if it was under warranty. It was. But, I believe they just charged me the price it would have been as labor. 2 hours for a 15 minute job. Worked ok for a.c. after fix. A few months later when winter came, the heater would not turn off when it reached the set temp. When I called for a remedy, they said they would not fix or diagnose their doubly faulty merchandise for free. I'm giving anyone but them any more money. They have a real attiude. Plus I wouldn't expect honest interaction from them.

    This company damaged my property during installation and has been giving me the run around and not fixing or attending to the damage. I've been told that they have other customers they are doing business with. That's not a excuse to use because I have a problem and it should be taken seriously. They were eager to get my business but now has no respect for me as a paid customer. I don't recommend this company.

    Year two with this unit installed by AmeriTech and yet ANOTHER issue. Despite the numerous issues, AmeriTech wants to continue to profit off each visit despite their ability to provide a reliable A/C unit. I highly recommend you seek another company before ending up in such a position. AmeriTech takes advantage of its customers and positioning and is not trustworthy.
    EDIT: After reading several other reviews, it seems Ameritech may be running a SCAM. If you feel you've been wronged by this company too, please reach out to me.

    Hello Chad,
    It would appear that you do not understand the terms of your warranty. You were given a warranty by Ameritech that was our standard one year on workmanship and a 10 year manufacturer warranty on your equipment. You were given the opportunity to purchase an extended labor warranty at the time of purchase. At that time you declined the offer.
    You contacted us 21 months after the installation with an issue. We responded by providing you an written estimate that included the free warranty part and the labor cost for the repair to the system.
    Now 31 months after the installation you have a new issue and you are still having difficulty understanding why we are charging you to diagnose and make repairs to your system when your warranty with us is expired.
    We would like to remind you that you are welcome to use any manufacturer approved contractor to service and repair your system.
