Our company purchased a Refurbished ***************** **** HLT Imaging Table from Cevi Med (with a 1-year warranty) on 09/08/2023 for $8,175.50. The table was delivered shortly after. When it arrived there were two problems. First, the table did not go to the advertised height, and second, a wheel on the table was broken.At first, the company tried to say that we never should have accepted the delivery if the table was broken, and therefore, they are washed of responsibility in the matter. After some push-back, a repair person was sent out a couple weeks after the fact to repair the table. However, after the repair visit, the table was STILL broken, and needed a new lift control. At this point, we have patients in need of care, this defective table is taking up space, and we cannot afford to keep waiting for this table to work. People are in need of care. Without any proactive measures to continue to repair the table in a timely manner, we asked Cevi Med to just come pick up the table. We had to choose another vendor quickly to secure a working table for our practice, and luckily, that vendor provided a working table very quickly.During the last week of September, *****, a Cevi Med employee, informed one of our doctors that he had a truck coming out this way within the next couple weeks to pick up the table. However, when plans were never made to retrieve the table, we kept calling. The truck coming our way must have evaporated, because ***** back-tracked on picking the table up. When I called again to see if ***** had a plan to get this table, he basically said he didn't know when or if the table would be picked up, and we never should have accepted the delivery. Hello,
An email was sent to your team notifying them that we will be picking up your unit in the month of December. We are in the planning process of scheduling deliveries in ******** and will be able to coordinate to pick ** in your area.
The bed that was delivered to your company was accepted by your staff in damaged condition. Our policies offer very limited coverage on equipment that has been accepted in damaged condition. In an effort to resolve things with your company, efforts were made to both fix the bed and return the bed, but after much back and forth we were never able to come to an agreement with your company. Now your company wants to return the bed, and as stated in communication with your team, your company would have to incur the shipping charges to return the bed. Alternatively to avoid incurring those shipping charges, your company would have to wait until we are in the ***************** fulfilling deliveries. Fortunately for the month of December we are able to accomplish this.
We hope to resolve this matter quickly and pick ** the bed from your facility in a timely matter. We look forward to resolving this case and giving this a solution before the start of the New Year.

I ordered a stretcher chair on August 6, 2023. It has been seven weeks and I have left multiple emails to the customer service and called them multiple times. Finally two weeks ago someone picked up the phone and they told me that my stretcher chair will be delivered Within the next 7 to 10 business days. They told me they would be sending me a tracking number immediately. I have noticed from their one star reviews that this seems to be something that they do consistently to customers. They don’t call anybody back and they lie about their tracking numbers , at this point, it would be good just to get my money back. Customerservice is the worst I’ve ever seen in the medical business.Business Response

On the date of 12/28/2022, I, ******* ******** submitted an order for a Hospital Bed, priced at, 2,965.00.
I was guaranteed that the bed would be delivered within 2-4 weeks. Some weeks thereafter I received an e-mail advising that there had been a delay in shipment. The first week in Feb, I contacted Cevi Med, advising that their customer service was beyond poor, as they do NOT keep their commitments. I spoke with a representative by the name of Valentina. I requested a refund, she then advised, “Well, we typically do not offer refunds on refurbished beds.” Additionally, advising a promise to follow up on the following day, 02/08/2023, suggesting the bed would be shipped out and arriving by Sunday- 2/12/2023.
The bed did not arrive. We did not receive tracking information as promised, and they have no longer reached out or responded to my e-mails and or phone calls.Business Response

1. Order placed on Dec 29th (invoice attached) for Medical Exam Tables with a promise that it will be delivered by Jan 21st (Saturday) or 22nd (Sunday). Order was fully paid upfront. (1.pdf and 1invoice.pdf).
2. I never heard any updates. So I emailed them on Jan 15. See attached email (2.pdf).
3. On 1/17/23 they replied saying that they will leave Florida on Jan 28. I informed them that it is not acceptable and not consistent with what was promised when placing the order. Simon C***** replied and told me on the phone that he will ship it sooner and the tables will arrive by Jan 28-29. See attached email chain. (3.pdf)
4. On Jan 24 I asked for an update and stressed that the agreement was now that the medical tables will be delivered by Jan 29th. Simon C***** eventually replied and said they plan to arrive in California over the weekend, i.e., the weekend of Jan 28-29. See attached emails. (4.pdf)
5. On Jan 26th I asked for an update. Because it still had not been shipped, I told them I will have to cancel the order. (5.pdf)
6. There was no response from them at all. On Jan 27th I informed them on WhatsApp and by email that I am cancelling the order and they should issue me a refund. (6.pdf)
7. On Friday Jan 27th they responded stating that they will give me an update on Mon Jan 30th. I asked them to give me a refund as required by the law i.e., FTC rules. See attached emails (7.pdf)
8. On Tue Jan 31st, I sent them an email asking for an update. See attached email (8.pdf)
9. On Thu Feb 2, Cevimed replied saying they will issue a refund within 10-12 days (9.pdf).But no refund has arrived. They do not reply to any emails, phone calls or voicemails.
10. FTC rules require a refund if the vendor can’t deliver within the agreed time frame. Moreover, FTC rules require that if the delay from placing the order to shipping is more than 30 days then also the customer can get a refund. The vendor is in violation of multiple FTC rules and is still refusing to issue a refund.Business Response

We recently bought the medical office and we bought medical exam tables from the Cevimed company. When I bought the exam tables, the item was placed as refurbished. The company CEO/Founder *********************** himself made the deal and told us that he will give us the discount and charge $100 per table shipment as we are located near by in the FL. Each table cost is $650. They were supposed to send the delivery on 11/29/2022 but they got delayed. I asked them to show the products, they are not showing me the products. During the conversation, we also realized that the seller is selling used products and breaking them down and rebuilding them and painting asd then selling them as refurbished. I spoke to *********************** and told him that this is used and rebuilt product and not refurbished. This process was not explained to me. He showed me his company over the video and has not showed the way they rebuild the tables from pieces. I paid $9546.00 for 12 refurbished tables and not for the used tables. Now they are trying to send me used tables and not showing me how the tables look also. The owner *********************** is telling me that I can not cancel the deal as there is no refund. I advised him that I have not received the items and I can cancel the order. He says I can not cancel the order. At that point I asked him to show me the product and reduce the price if they are used as I did not pay for the used products. I advised him to hold the shipment as he is not showing me the product and also not reducing the price ************ is selling as refurbished products but sending the used and rebuilt products in their factory. After multiples discussions, the man is threatening to take legal action when I said I will have to dispute the charges as I used the credit card.Business Response

We have been doing the research regarding your case and what is stated in this complaint. Our CEO *********************** has been in conversation with you throughout the entire purchase process, the products that were ordered were 12 Midmark ****** 404 Exam Table- Refurbished. Our refurbishing process consists of different parts, the process starts by analyzing the machine, cleaning it, testing all the functional parts and putting the upholstery requested by the customer, all this process is verified by the quality team, which makes sure that all the mechanical movements of the equipment is working perfectly to guarantee the correct functionality of the machine. We do not sell used products, we sell refurbished products.
At the time you requested the videos, *********************** sent them to you showing our warehouse and the products in the order (November 30). Subsequently, he indicated that the tables were ready and loaded on the trucks to be shipped on December 1st. From that moment on, you stopped answering the messages and indicated that you wanted to cancel the order when everything was ready to be delivered and you did not want to receive the order. We hope that you can be given a prompt solution to this situation since our CEO has done everything requested by you.Customer Answer

The merchant never explained that they assembled the pieces used parts together and built them together. They said they were refurbished. The day before the scheduled delivery no one called to confirm. When I called and asked to show me the products, they refused and said they are packed and can not be opened and will be opened only at my office when they bring them to deliver.
I had to put the delivery on hold as they refused to show me the product prior to the delivery and also they send these products were not refurbished but assembled product which were used in the past. *********************** got upset when I said he is misleading me by saying refurbished when it is assembled product (pieces of used products put together)
*********************** made the video of the product later when I placed the delivery on hold and sent it to me via whatsapp. He did not send the video of the upholstery even after requesting.
My main issue is this company is selling used product pieces put together as refurbished. They get all the used product pieces and assemble them in their factory and ***************** and sell as refurbished.
Now they are saying they can not return my money even though I have held the delivery. They are threatening me that they will take legal action if I dispute the bill through my credit card company.
I requested them to reduce the price as they are not refurbished but they are used products. They are not agreeing to reduce the price.Business Response

On 08/30/2022 we purchased 3 Refurbished Global SMR Cabinets from *********************** at CeviMed located in *********** *******. Invoice #***** We paid in full $6,985.00 for these three items and we were told that they would be shipped from ******* on Monday September 19, 2022 and we would receive them in ********** **** on Thursday September 22, 2022 or at latest Friday September 23, 2022. I was also told on the day they leave ******* I would be notified via email and text message the tracking information. When I did not receive the email or text message I contacted the company and started to leave voice mail messages on a daily basis with no one returning my phone calls. I finally did speak to someone at the end of September I think September 30th and was told that they had some issues with their delivery truck and it was set to ship again on October 17, 2022 with a new arrival date of October 20, 2022 or October 21, 2022. I again never received shipping information and left several messages again daily inquires regarding our items.I finally again spoke to *********************** who told me the items never left because ******* was scheduled for a Hurricaine, but that was a lie because I was set to receive the items well before the Hurricane even originated. I was then told again that the items were leaving ******* on Monday October 31, 2022. I did after several phone calls receive a text message with tracking information and I was told I would have the items on Friday November 4, 2022.The live tracking information did show they were in Pennnsylvania , then headed to ******** then was stuck in ******** for well over a week then went on to *********** then to **********, I continued to call the company for updates and was told that they had "Issues" in ******** and were delayed, but I should again have my items on a new scheduled date of November 18, 2022 my tracking link expired so I was not able to follow along I reached out to the company again several times and someone did finally call me back and say they were in ******** ************ and we should be getting our items on Friday November 18, 2022 on Thursday November 17, 2022 I received a phone call to let me know that their delivery truck was pulled over and that their driver did not have a CDL to be driving the truck so the truck was grounded. I was told I would be provided an update on what they were going to do to get me my items. I have received no information to date and every time I call the company no one is answering the phone calls or returning the voice mail messages I leave. I have also sent them an email notifying them that I was filing a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau and I would if necessary seek legal action to get a refund.Business Response

On June 8, 2022, we paid $700.00 to have a stretcher shipped to us and we have not received the stretcher and when we contact the company, they will not speak with us concerning this matter.
