1 starRoyal Holiday is a terrible company and do not buy from them. They use deceptive sales techniques and are not trustworthy. Do not believe Royal Holiday Responses that they care about customers or members because they do not. In my case, I went for an upgrade because I was told I could lock in my annual fee increase to 1% a year. That would be an incredible benefit and I was shown a chart to that effect. Therefore I agreed to upgrade on that premise. When I got my contract I immediately asked them for a copy of the chart I was shown. They told me I would be provided with it. I was at the resort for 10 days and I continued to ask every day where was my copy of this chart I was shown. Finally, I went up to ************* that last day and there was no one there. They all disappeared by 3 pm. When I arrived home I contacted them and said where is the chart showing the 1% lock in. I needed that because I wanted it for my estate plan. Well then they told me that it was demonstration only and that it was not the real lock in amount. Needless to say I was ****** so I sent an email to complain that this was deceptive sales technique. I was a VIP Member!! It didn't matter, but the sales manager called me and asked me how he could fix it. I told him refund my money and set me back to my old contract. They did not do that. Instead they said I did not go through some BS verification process, which was new to me. I had upgraded before and had no issues, but the said that because I had no issue before I should not have a problem with this upgrade. Basically what they told me was they are s******* me over now because I never challenged the other upgrades I did. That is what they do as a company!! They are horrible and I would not buy from them ever!! They don't care about members, just making the sale anyway possible!! That is what you get if you become a member. 1 starI've been a member since **** and I have to admit it was great up to around 2016-2018. I made the BIG BIG mistake of renewing to an upgrade. Let's start with exactly what others here are saying, Yes customer service here are the biggest fairy tale story tellers on the planet. They always lose documents, recordings and anything that will prove they are in the wrong, so if you're a member save all RH documents like they were gold. The Maintenance fee now has gone up so ridiculous that your better off paying for the Hotel and forgetting about using RH credits. I just decided to stop paying the Maintenance fee and just take my loses and have them close my account. When I first started with them they gave me a book with about ******* pages which I still have of hotels and lots of locations available to travel too, when I renewed the new book I recieved didn't make it to 75 pages, which I also still have. Obviously they've losing business. I use to recommend RH but now DON'T GET CONNED BY RH. If you purchase a membership from them trust me as a member since **** you will regret it.Royal Holiday Club

DO NOT BUY IN!!!! Seriously after sitting through there presentation we said no multiple times and after talking to like 4 reps we bought the lowest amount of points which was $4,000. Thank god we only did that cause we just tried to book our family vacation and the whole point system is a fraud! We decided after reading reviews to try to get out of our contract or spend all of our points. So after months of looking we found a hotel to accommodate us, sept when we called to book it was going to cost us $11,000!!!!!!! Yes you heard that correctly! For a family of 6 to fly to CANCUN MEXICO to stay at there gross resort we would have had dish out an additional $2,568 US plus a 3% tax and $6,000 in flights!!!!! What is the point of giving them $4,000!! So now we decided for just my husband and myself to go …. Thanks royal holiday for your absolute scam and pretty much stealing our money ..Royal Holiday Club

1 starThis company is a scam please dont fall for their pushy sells pitch. I signed up in April and began making payments in May yet my contract remains in a past due state. How do your payments go uncredited if they are withdrawn automatically? Not to mention the payments keep increasing by hundreds of dollars without notification. To add the payments are withdrawn by a subsidiary in large amounts which are not explained at the time of sign up. This instantly lead me to believe that I was being scammed. None of the payments I have made are outlined in the contract. The payments are always higher than what we agreed upon. Ive recently requested to be released from this contracts but was told that my contract had to be current and the only way out was to sell the contract to someone I know. What kind of alternative is that? This company have not credited any of my payments to my account and now they want me to convince another buyer to go into business with them? Not a chance, I wouldnt recommend this company to my worse enemy! By the way I used there accommodations once and there were additional out of pocket fees for the mediocre accommodations. 1 starPlease,Please, Please. If you are considering on joining Royal holiday, take this message as a sign to not do it. Do not engage with this company at any cost. They based their sales tactics on lies. It is extremely difficult to book a vacation with them. Their price and hidden costs are ridiculously high.Their customer service staff are trained to tell more lies. They have a 30 year membership and a 3 year called imagine vacations. Whatever you are being offered, Politely say no and keep your money I wish I did enough research before signing up.Royal Holiday Club

2 starsThe resorts we visited we nice and staff friendly. The RH Club welcomes us most of the time and of course are always trying to get us to upgrade. As Canadian residents during Covid we were unable to travel outside of our region. During the 3 years RH continued to charge the annual fee and would not allow us to carry over our points, hence paid for 3 years for nothing. We asked about this and were told they would look into it. Total silence afterwards, no phone calls or contact whatsoever. The last issue is when I do book with RH I use an American Credit Card, within a short time this card has fraudulent transactions thus having to take the time to contact the bank, report the transaction, have credit card cancelled and wait for a new one. As a Canadian I only use this card a couple times a year. So there is definitely something going on with RH once they get your credit card number.Royal Holiday Club

5 starsWe joined Royal Holiday Club 30 years ago. It was the "weeks program." One week each year for 30 years at any of the Royal Holiday resorts. The maintenance fee was just under $300 per year and the last maintenance fee was a little over $800. We never had any trouble booking with Royal Holiday. I always found the agents friendly and helpful. One year after a hurricane went through Cozumel and caused a lot of damage we were assessed an extra $125. Royal Holiday actually gave us an extra week that year. I don't know about the "points program." I must say that we have been very satisfied with the "weeks program." Last year was our final week of vacations. For us, Royal Holiday has been a wonderful experience. We spent most of the weeks at ************** Royal in Cozumel, but we have gone to a lot of different resorts. Now it's very easy to book vacations. Back then you went through a travel agent.
