On 1/10/24 I set up a moving job for my disabled brother through Moving APT from Corona Queens ** to ************ **. I was given a price of $1699. I was advised I was going to receive a call from ******************* of Moving APT to finalize the price. During the call she informed me that I had to pay an additional $85.64 for the move, which I paid and informed her it was a 7th floor pick up and 3rd floor drop off. We went over all the details of the move. The largest item was a full size bed, TV and stand, and an exercise bike, few boxes and 35 paintings. We agreed on a price from $1699 that I was originally quoted to $1900. On Sunday, 1/28/24 the day of the move which was supposed to be Saturday, the movers showed up and told us there would be an additional $75 elevator fee for pick and another $75 for the drop off. Also, they charged an additional $300 for the move being over 400 ft from the moving truck which it wasnt. All of this should have made known to me prior to the move date when I initially spoke with Moving APT. They never disassembled the bed per agreement and never assembled the bed upon delivery. They charged my disabled brother an additional $150 cash fee because they said it was 100ft hallway and they had to charge that or they would leave his stuff at the curb. All of this after already being paid for a move which should have gotten there Sunday night no later than Monday, 1/29/24. His belongings didnt arrive until Wednesday afternoon, 1/31/24. Because my brother had to vacate the apartment the Sunday of the move I paid extra fees. I felt like I was being robbed at gun point. They also had the nerve to charge an additional fee of $150 when they were 3 days late and delivered broken items. The company that did the move was Eazy Moving Corp. they also had me write my credit card # on a paper form which they didnt give me a copy. This was the most unprofessional behavior I have seen in my life. This complaint is for both Eazy Moving Corp /Moving APT.

This moving company delivered our stuff August 25th, 2023. They damaged so many of our items, things like priceless records, heirlooms from my time teaching in *****, family heirlooms. And they broke two of our neighbors plants on the second floor. When I called they said I was lying. They wont give me a contract to back up their claims. This company is a scam and should be shut down.

My house household were picked up on 7/13/2023. I was given an amount of $1,851.00 to pay. The company committed to transport my goods for the $1,851.00 and to deliver the goods in the same condition as when the items were when they picked them up. The goods were not delivered in the same condition. There was a lot of extensive damage to several items. Also, there were items missing from the inventory. Upon delivery, they changed the asking amount to $2,277.01. The representatives are not helpful and being very nasty about this. The representatives have been very rude and hard to reach. They are not trying to make this right. I want to have the company make this right. I would like for the damages to be paid for, replaced, and/or repaired. I want a refund. The moving company is nonresponsive and will not answer phone calls, emails, or text messages as they have been before. I would like them to move my belongings to my location.
