1 starI have found that this company misrepresents itself, they are dishonest and is deceptive. I bought a house in November of 2022 and it has now been over 2 months since I sent the invoices for all the expenses which included renting an Airbnb for a week so my family was not homeless for a week, moving transportation, and storage. I having a statement from Lennar Homes stating that they will pay for these expenses due to their carless mistakes. They were missing a document from the city. When I asked the agent I was working with on 12/23/2022 about it, I was told, "I WILL BE OUT OF THE OFFICE UNTIL 01/09/2023, THANK YOU." Then she told me after that the check was mailed out 01/09/2022. Today is 01/19/2023 and I have not receive anything yet and of course they are not answering my emails. Any time I call, I get transferred to multiple departments and nobody knows and nobody helps. This is unacceptable. I am now in the process of obtaining a lawyer and have contacted the Better Business Bureau. No one deserves to be treated this way. I will call Lennar Homes consumer affairs as well and make sure to add this info to my experience.Lennar Homes, LLC

1 starMy husband and I Purchased a newly-build Lennar home that was poorly built. The home was only two(2) years old and had multiple roof leaks. Every time it rained our roof would start leaking. The water pipes were loud, and noisy anytime you flushed the toilet. BUYER BEWARE!!! Lennar is not a home builder you can trust with your money!Review fromLana S.

1 starVETERANS BEWARE!!! My husband is a 100% Disabled Veteran. We signed a contract to purchase a home with WCI (Lennar) in ************************. When we initially wrote the offer, it included a contingency on the sale of our current home, but the sales agent told us that Lennar did not accept such contingencies and that the offer would have to be submitted without it. We did so reluctantly because we were in a red-hot market and had no doubt that we would easily sell our home and buy Lennar's. The builder required an $85,000 deposit, and we had to borrow against the value of our current home for a cookie-cutter home that would have been built in the exact same spot the exact same way regardless of who purchased it. We read the contracts several times and missed the writing about financing not being a valid reason for leaving the contract unless we were denied a loan within 30 days after signing the deal (no lender will give you anything better than conditional approval on a home sale where the closing date is over 90 days out). Even if we had caught it, it wouldn't have made a difference because we couldn't have anticipated such a swift shift in market conditions, and a conditional loan approval can quickly become a loan denial later in the process. Unfortunately, the market took a turn for the worst, and the homes in our area lost over $100,000 in value from June to December. Buyers dried up, and despite our best efforts and numerous price drops on our property, we could not sell. We were unable to close and despite appealing to the Executive Chairman of Lennar (*************************), the company cold-heartedly kept our deposit a day before Christmas. The holidays were ruined and it will take years for our family to recover. Veterans, please avoid Lennar unless you are very comfortable with losing massive sums of money, the contract is designed to be completely one-sided favoring the builder, the VA will not help you, and the company does not care about you.Lennar Homes, LLC

1 starDuring our walk through we noticed mismatched tile throughout the house. I was told that different batches were used therefore the difference in dye color. On closing day we were told this would be corrected. After several poor attempts the tiles remain mismatching and to make matters worse the sloppy grout work are uneven. When walking barefoot my feet ache. The tiles are unleveled, uneven, and mismatching. In addition to a cracked tub, towel rack falling off the wall, soap bar holder falling off the shower tile, unsealed windows, missing kitchen toekick, closet doors falling off hinges, drain lines full of construction debris and leaking of the sinks. This house brand new of only 4 months old sold for 376k has been one of the biggest mistakes of my life. Totallt not worth the headache, the disappointment or the price. How did this house ever pass inspection legally is perplexing to me. Lennar one of the most leading builders in my area.....you should be ashamed! Your company is about QUANTITY NOT QUALITY.Review fromWende M

1 starI am a Florida Realtor, my client who is also my niece just closed in a townhouse In Lorraine Lakes. When we received the Welcome Packet which is a 22 page document. This was sent to my client, I am copied on everything from Lennar Title and Mortgage as a Realtor. The Welcome packet reviews all of the features and benefits of the home and the community. One if the items featured in the models and the neighbors homes was the epoxy finish on garage floor! This is enumerated in the Welcome Package from Lennar! When I asked sales person when that item would be completed, he told me they ( builder) stopped doing that in February! This is December! I would think the company would have plenty of time to amend their marketing materials! But they have NOT! The sales person lied repeatedly to us! Also lied about the oven/ range. We asked will it be identical to the one in model? He said yes! Possibly even better! I have 2 other witnesses to this! Turns out client received ugly stove with a back on it! A freestanding not a slide in as we were promised! So many disappointing things! Also was a gas leak from Day 1! House wreaked of gas. My niece / client called TECO, they immediately came out! Turns out when we demanded a plumber the next day that he told us( I was there ) that dryer was hooked up completely wrong! What else did they cut corners on! I’m running out of space. Lots of unhappy people In Lorraine lakes/ Lakewood Ranch. Buyer Beware. Lies and very poor workmanship.Review fromChris H.

1 starI recently bought a homes from Lennar 12/13/22 with open items and was insured that these items would be closed. Here we are 12/28 with not one single item addressed and the builder will not ************* or emails. The builder literally has signed an agreement saying they would close on these items and yet here they are ignoring their responsibility. I basically bought a half a million dollar house and got robbed. I would not recommend anyone to buy a Lennar property. They will build you a half done house and will not return nor fix the issues themselves created.Lennar Homes, LLC

1 starLennar was in the process of building our townhome in **********, **. All of a sudden we notice the work came to a ****. So about a month our neighbor who suppose to have closed Oct 2022 said she notice that somebody lunch has been sitting on the island for a month. Thats how she know no one was working on her place. We tried to contact the Consultant, but found out he quit. And we was directed to a guy in **. We tried and our realtor tried to reach the guy in **. Finally, our realtor who knew somebody who knew somebody gave her his direct number. This guy said he would release us through a Mutual Release. He stated that he would call us back in a couple of days to get the matter settled. We never heard anything back. Now we seeking legal advice because Lennar cant make us buy their home. The guy that quit said it would be finished in Jan 2023. The guy in ** said March 2023. Our loan will expire in March. So we dont want to take a chance with the Interest rate. Lennar should not continue to be in business with the 900 complaints they received. It is still mind boggling how these people are still in business. Lack of communication and unprofessionalism inspired us to not go forward with this company. If they would do this to someone who havent bought the house yet. Who knows what they would do when finished building our home. We dont trust their integrity. Im warning everyone I can to stay away from this builder. They dont understand word of mouth is a huge advertisement. But something needs to be done about this company. If I could give them (0) stars, I would.Lennar Homes, LLC

1 starLennar requested us to close our new house on 11/30/2022. We paid over 1 million in cash to purchase the house. The house was not ready. Lucky we are not in rush to move in. We spent the past two weeks chasing after the CS guy and construction manager to fix my house. I also found a water bottle with brown ish liquid inside left on top of my kitchen cabinet. Problems we found: 1. Big hole on garage wall 2. Multiple outlets were not installed 3. Fire place not working properly 4. Two big nails drilled out inside the kitchen cabinet. 5. Baseboard not completed 6. Balcony door was installed poorly, uneven handles, big gap on the screen doors when closed. 7. One bathroom fan not working 8. One ceiling vent and ceiling light were overlapped 9. Dryer vent was not connected properly 10. Tankless water heater was not installed properly. 11. One Cabinet shelf was fixed and installed the wrong way and not a even surface. Most problems are fixed but I had to text the PIC each day to make sure they do the repair. There are lots of small paint stain on carpet since they had to touch up many different areas after closing.Lennar Homes, LLC
