I'm a ***** Realtor, I took my buyer to Lennar Homes' new community in ******, **. to review their new home inventory and to get prequalified for a home loan through their mortgage company. We were met by a sales representative named *********************. ***** provided my client with the info he needed to move forward with the process. It wasn't until my client had questions for the loan officer, before completing the home loan application. I called ********************* to inform him that the loan officer is not returning my client's calls nor is she returning my calls could he assist. ***** said to me "I told you to contact me when the application is complete", his tone was demanding. I told him I didn't recall that, he repeats himself in another demanding tone "I told you to contact me when the application is complete" my reply again, I don't recall that. I told him let's not get into a ******* match about what you said, I only need to speak with your loan officer. In a rage he tells me to "shut up and listen to me". He's in a full blown rage telling me to " shut the f*** up and listen to me boy" when I talk you shut the f*** up and boy" do you hear me boy"?. The phone call ended. I called him back to let him know that I'm going to report him and he texted me his manager's email address as if he didn't care. I've been in real estate over 15 years and I have never encountered this type of discrimination or racism. I've reached out to upper management and the area manager *************************, which ***** has been the only person to contact me and apologize for ***** 's racist epethects, she tells me this matter is being handled by HR which is her. This all took place March 12 2024 the last email exchanged with ***** was April 1 2024. She has yet to inform me of a conversation with ***** or provide me with any info to move forward. This has really affected me mentally to know that this type of hate exists in my professional world. No one should have to experience this type of hateReview from Jace D

Lennar delivered, and let us close remotely on, our house knowing it was incomplete. They admitted to me a changed policy within the last year of only now requiring a home to be 100% before going to close. How was this not the policy already? The below describes our biggest issues with the home, but my 1st service ticket had 22 items listed, with 2 more made within the same month. My house was not constructed properly, since we closed remotely the house was passed to warranty to fix. I mentioned this to my warranty rep who said he was going to see what he could do, but it kept being ran through the warranty process. Closing walk through forgot mentioning to not paint during the warranty period, and to register home appliances. They also bypassed the blue-tape inspection leaving everything as it was.My 3-story house is missing blow insulation in the attic (it only has batt between studs) and there are 2 giant gaps between 2nd and 3rd floor. Lennar policy is to not insulate between ************** but has not properly sealed the space between 2nd and 3rd floors in the attic space. This house is 3440 sq ft and has 2 HVAC units: 2 Ton for 1st floor and 2.5 Ton for the 2/3 floors. The first floor is ~1100 sq ft and the 2/3 floors equal ~2300 sq ft. So Lennar thought adding only a half-ton to my unit would be enough to service more than twice the space as the 1st floor. It is too small and can't keep up during summer months; winter months were fine because heat rises and 2nd floor gets help from the 1st floor unit.Lastly, I have hundreds, if not a thousand s**** pops throughout my house. I've done the research and typically there is 5-15 pops seen through the lifetime of the drywall. When you walk in though you can immediately see the marks ALL OVER. I do not trust the integrity of my walls and Lennar management just shrugs it off like it's not a big deal. They came and "fixed" it 2 times and the pops keeps showing up, more with every report.Review from Sabastian M

I believe Lennar discriminated against me due to my income from a government-related company. They asked me how I made my income, which I found discriminatory. They even asked me to justify my degrees and other inquiries, only to come back later and tell me they changed their mind because I refused to give in to their discriminatory accusations. The entire experience was terrible, and I would never recommend them to anyone. They didn't pay any attention to our complaints about how our house was built. As a VA home loan house buyer, I feel like I wasted my benefits on this company. They have no accountability or integrity.Furthermore, Lennar's workers didn't put screws into my front door lock latch, which was careless and a safety issue. The community lacks visibility at night and on the sidewalk, which risks our safety, especially for children. We are also facing erosion in our lawn due to cheap sod for the ******* grass, and there's a dead tree in our front yard. However, the most significant issue is the draining of my bathroom faucet due to the builder's installation of my granite countertops. The faucets drain on my countertop and flood my house, which is unacceptable. On top of it, the builder leaves trash and waste by my property, which always blows into it. It's a lack of consideration and professionalism.Lastly, I am disappointed in Lennar's warranty department. They are not interested in helping and are just a call center protecting Lennar's money. They don't resolve many issues, and I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.Review from Shay C

After living in my new home for seven years, I have experienced inferior quality on almost every aspect of the home. The paint was the cheapest quality ever! The plumbing was done incorrectly! Now I have had three repairs in ******* in one year. Every time the wind blows, shingles fly off. I had a roofer out this week that told me it will continue to happen because the roof was installed improperlythe nail gun was set too high and nails went straight through my shingles. The shingles were the lowest grade product on the market as well. And if I try to file an insurance claim to get a new roof, the insurance company will probably cancel my policy when the see the improper installation. Lennar is a terrible job on this house and have very poor customer service.Review from John O

Buying a Lennar Home has been the worst home buying experience my wife and I have ever had. From poor workmanship to voluminous warranty issues, to include tile, water leaks, unfinished door frames, missing window screens, poor cabinet work, grading issues, vinyl floors popping and squeaking, HVAC problems, and the list goes on! If youre considering the purchase of a Lennar Home, ******* your decision!!!Review from James C

Please do yourselves a favor and don't buy a purchase a home through Lennar. I cancelled my process with them because they were so bad and still haven't got my money back. I have been calling for months and no one has a answer or will not answer.Review from Andy W

Do not buy a Lennar home! They cut corners in everything they do. Make sure you have a professional landscaping/drainage company review your home before signing anything. What Lennar and the landscaping companies they use will do is deny the warranty until its not under warranty. It will be your problem to pay for a proper drainage system implemented so you do not have a lake in your backyard.Review from oscar m

I bought a house in Lennar Square Avalon in the month of January. I started my process. I selected the house with the description of the seller, *******************, who told me that the house would be with both access roads closed. When I started my process, they promised me the total payment of the Closing costs that same day, they pre-approved my credit and I handed over a sum of money to separate the house in the process, there was a lot of pressure to quickly deliver the documents in a harassing manner until the day of closing where I really began to discover the deceptions. from the seller... the first thing was that the closing costs were not covered in full, for which they could not do anything in my claim because their information was never really clear. That day they gave us the keys after all the bad time they put us through with my wife and my sons. We headed to the house that same day to see it and take photos in our new house. We left and on the second day we arrived for our move. and the disastrous surprise was that the house had been stolen, all the appliances and the air conditioning, leaving a pain that could be seen in the eyes of our children and my wife... since then I have not been able to obtain any type of responsibility or help on the part of the seller nor his boss, who responded that they no longer had anything to do with the fact that the house had been delivered... as of today, I lack information to be able to make a claim to the insurance that only Lennar knows about and that they have not been able to share with me. And to end the disappointment, they told me that the street that the seller told me was closed and on which my house was one of the most expensive in the complex had actually always been planned as a main dual carriageway.
