The Lennar warranty is completely worthless. Any issues you have will be shuffled around to various people, none of which take responsibility and fix the problem. They talk nice but resolutions never happen. The deeper I look into my new house, the more issues I see of poor workmanship or total incompetence. 6 weeks in the new house and still have to call and resubmit work orders because they get closed out when they talk to you and nothing else is done.

I am writing to formally express our deep dissatisfaction and concern regarding the way our home purchase and loan process has been handled by their company. From the beginning, we acted in full good faith. We applied for a loan with your institution promptly and complied with all the required steps within the allotted 45-day period. Despite this, we were hurried into signing a contract so we didn't lose the opportunity even though we weren't receiving any financial disclosuresa practice that we now recognize as a classic bait-and-switch tactic. This places us at a severe disadvantage and calls into question the integrity of their sales process.More alarmingly, the denial we eventually received was deliberately delayed beyond the 45-day periodclearly an attempt to retain our ******* money under false pretenses. This delay, in our view, was intentional and exploitative. We met our obligations. They did not.The combination of deceptive contract practices, poor communication, and what appears to be deliberate procedural manipulation amounts to gross negligence and a lack of ethical conduct. We have made every effort to secure this loan and uphold our responsibilities, and it is unacceptable that we are now being penalized for their internal mishandling. We trusted Lennar with one of the most important decisions of our lives. That trust has been thoroughly broken.

Though my issues are minor compared to many others who leave reviews and my house is beautiful, my 1 star is exclusively because of the horrid customer service. A beautiful new home means much less when you know that they will not resolve any issues that come with a new ******** sliding glass door has shattered two separate times completely randomly within 1 year of each other in this new home. However "glass isn't covered by warranty". Instead of trying to give me helpful solutions, the customer service made up wild stories about how birds are managing to slam into and break my glass and flying away perfectly fine (through a closed screen at that). When there was obviously some kind of manufacturing issue, it made it impossible to trust a company that would just try gaslight you instead of listening to your service requests. I'm down $1660 so far and expecting another $1660 when the other two likely faulty panels eventually break. The most "helpful" thing provided was a contractor's information that apparently wasn't supposed to be provided to me and he was very upset that I was contacting him directly about a repair. As horrible as this customer service experience was, I'm grateful that it will "only" be $3320 instead of the cost of a new roof or something because I'm sure that they would find ways to blame the customer for anything.

I would give 0 star. These people do not do anything under warranty. Every time you ask for warranty claim they deny saying its not covered under warranty

Id call their houses a polished t*** Terrible houses. Not worth the money. Looks amazing on the outside. Great floor plan but when you live in the house you realize how terrible the contractors are, the build quality is, terrible paint, flooring, shower heads, faucets, door locks, appliance, the list goes on and on. You pay 500k for a house that should be 300k. Also we had 4 massive cracks in our foundation and they failed to notice it, I told the construction manager and he said its fine. We had a second opinion and they said it was bad and needed to be fixed. So their construction managers have no idea what their talking about. STAY FAR AWAY FROM LENNAR HOUSES!!! Never again. Ive been telling everyone and I will continue telling everyone to never buy a lennar house!!! We have lived in the house for 4 years also.

This review covers my experience from Nov 2023 to July 2025. My expectations for the home buying/pre-close process were pretty low to begin with so I was not surprised when the Lennar team did not deliver. The Lennar team for its one year warranty program was no different although there were 3 employees who were outstanding. I haven't had to use the 2 year, 5 year, 10 year, manufacturer warranties yet nor come across any code violations but I'm sure I will and do not expect anything but the run around, incorrect information and low quality results. Because buildout is not yet completed, this builder still controls the *** for my community and the experience so far rates negative stars. Bottom of the barrel.

To whom it may concern,I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with our recent home buying experience managed by ****** ******** a sales consultant at Lennar. This feedback aims to prevent similar issues for future ********** August, upon deciding to relocate from ********** we contacted Lennar and were advised by Mr. ******* to sign for a property remotely with assurances of flexibility regarding our need to sell our existing home. However, when we faced delays in selling and needed alternative financing, the support provided was inadequate, and the solutions offered were unfeasible due to my husband's 1099 employment ********* January, it was clear we would not meet the closing date. Despite previous assurances from Mr. ******** requests to move to another lot with a later closing date were denied due to missed deadlines we were not previously informed about, jeopardizing our $60,000 deposit. The lack of support culminated on closing day, January 31st, when Mr. ******* was absent, leaving us without a proper walkthrough, essential information, or even garage openers, which were delayed for weeks. Additionally, a dog waste station was installed adjacent to our property without prior notice, affecting our living environment. This has been our most challenging home purchase experience, and we had expected much higher professionalism and customer care from ********************.

I've read tons of negative complaints about ************************ do not discredit them whatsoever. I was nervous about purchasing a home from Lennar after reading countless reviews. I was under contract with Lennar in May & agreed to a $1000 ******* deposit. However, my mortgage loan was not approved so I was told I would receive my refund. I waited almost 2 months to receive my refund when initially I was told It would take 2 weeks. I had to hound Lennar customer support about my money. My sales agent would take his time to respond. After further consideration, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I recently moved in with my partner and was shocked to discover she had been living in hazardous electrical conditions for over a year in a newly built home by Lennar Homes, still under warranty. This home has experienced frequent electrical failures, including power surges, intermittent outages, and critical appliance damage. Despite repeated service requests, Lennar Homes has failed to resolve these safety concerns. The assigned electrical contractor, ******** Electric, made the situation worse. During one visit, a technician removed the kitchen smoke detector and left it disconnected, compromising the home's fire safety. My partner was harassed by ******** and so uncomfortable with how she was treated that she asked the technician to leave. The repeated failure to restore safe, working electrical infrastructure is deeply disturbing and unacceptable for any homeowner, especially in a supposedly brand-new home. Lennar continues to tell my partner to call ******** in a very unprofessional way.Currently:* Lights flicker every time the ** turns on.* Breakers trip weekly, including the fridge circuit, which causes food spoilage.* Garage lights burn out constantly.* A brand new 8K TV was destroyed by a surge.* The ** system underperforms due to unstable power delivery.* Entire sections of the home lose power without warning, even when no appliances are running. We are now investigating the homes wiring and Lennars handling of this issue with legal ********** homeowner should experience this level of stress, risk, and neglect. I strongly advise others to exercise extreme caution before purchasing a home from Lennar or working with ******** Electric. The health, safety, and peace of mind of homeowners should never be compromised.
