      I downloaded the Speechify app and joined the 3-day free trial on 3/30/23. I did this using the App Store which had my card information which is directly linked to my bank account. I canceled the subscription on 3/31/23, through the Apple subscription service, like you would any other app through Apple. On April 2, 2023. I noticed a pending charge in my bank from Speechify for $139.00, the amount of a yearly subscription. I immediately contacted Speechify and Apple to see what had happened. Speechify has no contact information to call or communicate through other than email, so I began emailing ******************************* After a more than competent response from Apple, I was informed that Speechify had fraudulently taken the funds from my bank. I contacted Speechify and gave them Apple transaction receipts as well as the transcript from the Apple tech I had spoken to. The information I sent was clear and concise, with receipts of dates of downloads as well as cancellation dates. SPEECHIFY FRAUDULENTLY used my Apple information and charged me $139.00 * Long story short its 4/27/23 and I have given every opportunity and a months time for Speechify to rectify this. My sister in law works for a bank and says this is a textbook SCAM. The company (Speechify) will often ask for information (over and over) until the time passes, that the customer can no longer communicate with their bank to put in a process for a fraudulent transaction request. They have not refunded or contacted me and keep asking for information they already have.

      I was charged $139 for a full year of speechify premium before the end of my trial and their customer support has not responded to my emails. Youre better off using anything but this service, theyll try to play you with ridiculous time frames and preemptive billing.
