    I applied for a loan though the company mentioned in the complaint. I signed up to pay the company back through my paycheck. The money is coming out though the check every two weeks however they are saying I am missing payments.

    I had taken out a loan with *** due to emergency needs. Since i had taken out the loan i was paying every 2 weeks until i got a work related injury in which i have been off work since October of 2024. At first i was able to make the payments every 2 weeks from my checking account to keep up with their 34% interest rate loan. Since its a serious injury and i have been off of work for almost a full year i now only get paid once a month. I had called and reached out to *** to see if we could switch it to a once a month payment in which they denied the option due to it being a high interest loan. I have way too many things with my injury, bills, major surgery as well as 4 kids i have to take care of as well as their appointments and work to pay attention to when the payments are due. Which i forget a lot and that is adding to the already high interest in even paying the loan down. Now i have been receiving 5+ calls a day as well as 2 emails directly after the call as well as text messages following. At this point i am being harassed as i have asked to have something worked out as I'm not receiving my full pay and only getting paid once a month. I feel in these situations the company can offer more help than what they do as they only want to add more debt to the already crazy high interest rates. In fact i do not believe they should be able to have a 34% interest rate as it will take years to pay off.

    I am rejecting this response because: This is not solving the issue of me NOT getting paid bi-weekly or the amount I was making before i got severely injured to now afford or remember when these payments are due. I have other bills that all my income I do receive has to pay due to me having dependents I have to make sure are taken care of. I now have to have major surgery to hopefully fix my injury so I can possibly go back to work in which its a very low chance I will even be able to work again after this surgery. So then I could do the allotment for this loan. And it also doesnt solve the harassment I have still been receiving every day. Which is illegal to contact someone that owes more than 7 times in 7 days in which still I am receiving calls multiple times a day along with emails as well as texts everyday. That they already denied working with me due to my severe injury.

    I have refinanced multiple times with *** but this time has not worked and their customer service refuses to help me solve my issue despite seeing comments on BBB that say other people have been helped. When I try to refinance, I am asked to sign into my ****** A to Z work account but it has timeout issues or starts a loop of asking for my number or email to verify my identity but it never does and takes me back to the same screen. I am unable to fix this and ****** payroll does not make changes or have a support team available to call.

    I was already in the refinance stage. I had made all the payments needed to refinance I just needed to get my income right. I went to the *** website because I usually check it for the same reason I am here to complain. They just changed my refinance requirements stating that back in March, the government made them do it. There was no warnings or communication from the company about these changes. My issue is why not communicate these changes, why am I being forced to make more payments to refinance when I had already made their refinance requirements, other the the income, and why was these changes in refinance requirements can just happen and anytime and it doesnt say this when initially applying for the loan. It costs way too much money to guess what a company or organization is doing.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    I had already completed your previous refinance requirements which was (15). Whatever changes that needed to be made should have came with some type of communication and it should not have altered my current payment status. I WAS IN THE REFINANCING STAGE AND YOUR ORGANIZATION SOME HOW CHANGED THIS. Now all of a sudden in need 30 payments when just last week I only needed 8. WHY SO MUCH INCONSISTENCY AND INCONVENIENCE? Ive refinance with your company 3 times. 

    I was unaware of the changes being made as well as refinancing requirements can change at anytime without warning WHICH YOU JUST APOLOGIZED FOR. Your company never notified me of such drastic changes. Only apologized. I cant do anything with your apologies and I dont want them. Im doing business. Do better business.


    I fell behind ONCE before and I was still able to catch up on the past due balance and refinance my current loan with you all with losing progress.
    The last conversation I had with a representative from your organization was that I only needed to make 3 payments to refinance, however they said the system isnt showing my details fully because I had a past due balance. INCONSISTENT. This was about a week in a half ago.

    I just recently fell behind on my payments because your company just made changes because you wanted to. I dont have money to just give to your unorganized organization. I need all of my money otherwise I would not have taken a loan out with your company in the first place.
    Even with the changes your organization made, What I have already been paying should have not been affected. I literally know I made 20 payments.

    Learning to communicate and notify people doing business with you should be your priority and it is clearly not.

    I set up my account to have recruited payments, thru my checking account. The payment never went through and I contacted this business in order to ensure payment, was made and no late fees were accrued. I received a call 6 months after, stating that a revision of interests was made in my account and apparently they notice that I owned a total of 34 dlls due to a late payment on August 2 2024, I received this call on January 2025. I made several attempts to reach a supervisor, nobody call me back, ever. I ended paying the 34 dlls, since they kept reporting to credit bureau that my account was delicuent, all the time they had a different amount to pay. This company they are just shady and taking advantages of individuals, Im really disappointed on how can be hired by our employer to provide their services. I'm requesting for my credit report to be restored, due to the significant impact this has been causing my credit score and I was never late on any payments, I even made payments in advance.

    I am filing this complaint against BMG Money, Inc. for engaging in deceptive lending practices, excessive interest charges, and ongoing violations of consumer protections.I am a retired federal employee who obtained a payroll-deducted installment loan from *** in 2023. The loan terms carried an APR of *****%, with a total repayment of nearly $19,000 for a $10,000 loan. Despite months of biweekly deductions, I was encouraged to refinance and each time, my previous payments were effectively erased, and a new tradeline was opened on my credit report. BMGs model traps borrowers in a cycle of refinancing that increases the principal owed and the total cost of ************ 2025, the account was marked as charged off, yet *** continued to contact me through phone calls, emails, and text messages violating FDCPA and California ********* laws regarding post-charge-off contact. Additionally, the *** portal does not provide any functional opt-out option for communications, despite stating such in their privacy policy violating the *****-*****-****** Act (GLBA 6802).Furthermore, *** continued to report inaccurate information to the credit bureaus, including inflated balances and duplicate tradelines due to refinancing. Disputes filed with the credit bureaus under **** 1681i have gone uncorrected, and *** has provided no meaningful response to those investigations.I am requesting the BBB investigate BMG for:Predatory lending practices targeting federal employees Post-charge-off contact violations Failure to provide opt-out options as required by law Deceptive refinancing and credit reporting behavior I have attached my loan documents, timeline of events, and communication records for reference. I am also pursuing complaints with the ***** FTC, and legal counsel for potential litigation.

    I am rejecting this response because:To the Better Business Bureau:
    Thank you for allowing me to respond. I reject BMG Moneys most recent statement dated July 14. Their response does not address my submitted evidence and instead repeats the same vague, prewritten language as their first reply.
    *** stated to the BBB that my account was sold to a third party on July 9. However, I provided emails and voicemails from **** representative ******** dated July 4, 5, 7, and 8after the date they claim the account was sold. Why would their agent contact me so aggressively by phone and email if they had already sold the account?
    Even more concerning: I just received my first letter from ***************** today, July 15, days after my certified letter was delivered to them on July 10, requesting debt validation and mail-only communication. That means they did not send me anything until I forced their hand.
    *** is still reporting the account to the credit bureaus, with inconsistent balances: one agency reports $10,000, another $11,181. The information is not only inaccurate, but also incomplete and misleadingviolating my rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).
    They have yet to explain the inconsistent reporting, continued contact after the alleged sale, or the fact that their agent kept communicating with me instead of informing me of the debt transfer.
    This process feels like a deliberate attempt to confuse and pressure the consumermeinstead of providing transparency and fair treatment. I have already submitted:
    The voicemails and emails from **** agent,
    My certified debt validation letter to Resurgent (tracking #**********************),
    Credit report screenshots showing balance discrepancies,
    And a request for mail-only contact.
    I now add Resurgents first mailed letter, received today. Everything aligns with what Ive said from the beginning.
    I respectfully request that this complaint not be closed until these points are properly addressed. I am prepared to forward my full package of evidence to attorneys, regulators, or any third party willing to hold these companies accountable.

    Like the ***** I see BBB overlooks the hard work and proof we put into these issues. I thought coming here was a protection for us consumers. To close this case is a betrayal of the trust we put here. Not holding *** accountable is exactly why they responded the way they did. Untruthful, dishonorable.     Since May 2025, *** has illegally reported that they are only receiving $204 instead of my correct payment of $240 on my credit report, which is a violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act. I had called twice in May, twice in June, and today to verbally state that this illegal error from this company has ruin my life. I was in the process of refinancing my mortgage and was denied because of this error. I am now seeking an attorney to sue for times the amount of my loan along with pain and suffering because my credit score dropped down to 487. Each time I called Im being told that they will escalate and fix my credit report and nothing has been done. Since May, I disputed on my credit report and uploaded proof of my correct payments. I sent emails to **** payments and collections email addresses, with proof of my payments, and still no one responded back or fixed my credit report. I called OPM and they mailed me proof of my payments to *** of $240

    I applied for a loan on 6/21/2025. They informed me I had to update my phone number with the credit beaurs because the phone numbers wasnt matching up that was on my fraud alert. I called experian to remove the fraud alert & updated my phone number. I did everything they told me the same day they sent the email. 7/2/2025 I received notice my application was denied. I reapplied AGAIN. Same results. Its like I cant speak with anyone hire up to rectify this situation. They have my current phone number on file and someone called me prior so Im not sure why the application was denied the second time for being unable to reach me when they have my updated phone number. Now I cant apply until 7/23/25 its very frustrating because I was depending on that money!!!!! Their customer service agents are very rude , dont listen nor empathize!!!!!!!!! I JUST WANT THIS RESOLVED

    I called *** in November 2024 and was advised that I had an overpayment in the amount of $200, and I requested for it back. To my surprise, the company reversed out several payments that I have made to account for the $200. An overpayment is a credit that sits in your account that has not yet posted. I dont understand why the overpayment was reversed out of my account. Since then, I have calling this company for an audit of my account. I have been told numerous times that a supervisor will call you. One was yesterday, I have not received a call back. The person that answered the call just laughed at my concerns. I made a payment on May 13 through their third party payment system for May 9 due date as they failed to take the payment out of my account on May 9. To my surprise, the payment was posted as paid on May 15 (paying more in interest). My next due date did not change since May 9, its always two weeks behind. Like now, they took out the payment from my account yesterday for July 4 due date and my next payment due date still shows as July 4. When I log in, a past due amount pops up which is not correct. This to, I have tried to resolve with the company, their CSRs are rude, not willing to assist. I even filed a complaint with the ************************ and no luck there either. I have paid over ****** back to this company on a ****** loan. After almost two years of paying 225 bi-weekly, I still owe $8100! They dont consider your credit score, all they go by when they set your APR rate is the state cap and they charge their customers as close to cap as possible. I asked them about this too and their response was, we dont go by credit scores, we go by the state cap which is unfair and this is predatory lending at its best!

    I am rejecting this response because:
    I am not past due on my account and I have not heard from BMG Money either by email or by phone. My complaint is not surrounding a past due balance, it is regarding their unfair practices. They claimed that I had an overpayment. When they processed the overpayment, they reversed out the payments that I made that were more than my payment obligation when in the contract it states that I have the right to make payments greater than my regular payment or to make extra payments whenever I wish!

    I am requesting that BMG Money review my loan and adjust the repayment terms to reflect a fair and reasonable balance. I was approved for a $5,000 loan, but only received approximately $1,294 after they applied the rest toward a previous loan. Now I am expected to repay over $8,000, which includes more than $3,000 in finance charges.This is not the first time I have refinanced a loan through BMG Money, and each time the amount I received has been small, while the total repayment amount has grown significantly. I believe this repeated refinancing structure is unfair and predatory. I am asking for a billing adjustment specifically, that *** reduce the excessive interest and total amount owed. I would also like a full breakdown of all payments made and charges applied.Additionally, my financial responsibilities have increased, and I am currently facing financial hardship. It is becoming increasingly difficult to keep up with the payments, and I am concerned about being trapped in long-term debt due to the way this loan was structured.I am submitting this complaint in good faith in hopes that *** will review the loan terms, consider my hardship, and work with me toward a more reasonable and manageable solution.
