On 6 May I shipped my Mini Instrument Cluster to the Miami "Dashboard Instrument Cluster" after communicating the issues I was experiencing for repair. I was hesitant in sending the cluster there as they claim 4.8 ****** Stars Review, 100% customer satisfaction guarantee, and that they can repair all clusters, but they charge $150.00 and will not release the part until paid. They received it on Wednesday and sent an invoice that day saying that I should take the part to the dealer to be repaired. Upset, I paid their $150.00 repair cost and $50.00 shipping cost to have my part returned, had to make several attempts through CASH APP to pay them as Cash App has them on a Scammer Watch List. Since paying them Wednesday night, I have yet to get confirmation that they are returning my part and have also see the real online ratings & comments about this company. They are known for not returning parts, not doing work, gangster tactics, threatening their customers, repairing parts before quoting them. Because this part is Mini (***) the part has been registered with my VIN of the car I will have to purchase a new part from *** and then pay to have it installed. Part is $650 and installation ********** If this company was honest, they would have told me to go to the dealer before trying their services, but obviously from all their reviews at ******, yelp, and BBB they are not an honest business. They need to return my part in good condition, or they should pay me for the trouble they have caused ($150.00 diagnosis, $50.00 shipping/handling, $650.00 a new replacement as

Subject: Clarification ************************ MINI Clubman Instrument Cluster Service
      Good Morning,
Id like to provide clarity on the recent service request from Mr. **** ******** regarding a 2018 MINI Clubman instrument cluster.
Mr. ******** initially contacted us to inquire whether we could repair his cluster. As with any complex electronic component, we explained that we would need to receive and inspect the unit first to determine if a repair was possible. Diagnosing and repairing automotive electronics is a specialized process and cannot be accurately done over the phone.
As per our standard procedure, we sent Mr. ******** our *********** Check-In Form (PSCIF) and awaited the arrival of his unit. Once received, one of our senior electronics technicians examined the cluster and determined that the microprocessor was shorteda critical failure. The microprocessor is the central component of the instrument cluster and holds all essential programming and security data. Unfortunately, when this chip is compromised, the cluster is typically beyond economical repair.
We communicated this diagnosis to Mr. ******** and informed him of the standard diagnostic fee, which covers technician time and resource use. Regrettably, he became upset and responded with threats of negative feedback, public complaints, and demands for free service. While we understand that repairs can be frustrating, especially when a part is non-repairable, we must emphasize that we are a professional service provider, not a free diagnostic resource or call center.
Weve been in this business for nearly 30 years and take pride in our work and our integrity. Like any reputable shop, we cannotand should notabsorb the cost of skilled labor and equipment use for every non-repairable part we assess.
We welcome all customers and strive to help in every way possible, but mutual respect and reasonable expectations are essential for a successful experience.
Thank you for your understanding and support.
      Best regards,
      Joe

i left my gauge cluster at Dashboard Instrument Cluster on September 4, 2024 for repair. I checked the box requesting a quote before repair. Nobody contacted me and when I called them a week later, they said they were waiting for parts. I was confused why they ordered parts without my authorization, but they said once they had the parts, they would provide a quote. Another week later I went in person to retrieve the cluster as no one had contacted me with a quote. They could not find the cluster and asked me to return in 3 days. Upon my return, I was informed that the cluster was repaired, and I owe $800. This place is a rip off, they take your cluster and want ridiculous repair cost to give it back.

I contacted this company to repair my tractors instrument cluster and sent the cluster to the company on August 28, 2023 and it was supposedly repaired when it was returned to me. When I connected the cluster to my tractor the cluster was still not working correctly. According to the companys information their work is warranty for 1 month. I contacted the company and they advised me to return the cluster under warranty. I returned the cluster on October 17, 2023 to the company. I have tracking information indicating the cluster was received and a name indicating who received the package. When following up with the company on the status of my cluster I was advised they were waiting on parts then I was told that was a miscommunication and they can not locate my cluster. I have emailed the company with the tracking information they requested and have received no response. In addition when I try calling the company the call is not answered. When I tried calling the company from a different number they answered and once I started relaying my information I was hung up on. I have paid for this to be repaired and now they have my money and wont return my cluster.
