This experience has been completely dissatisfactory. The moving team called me at 9:28am the day of my scheduled move (with the arrival estimated three hours later) telling me they need to reschedule. I explained that was not possible since I was leaving an abusive relationship and I have a kid. I was told theyd keep in touch. I got a text at 2:30pm stating they would come. The crew arrived minutes before 5pm. I watched one of the guys sit on the garage floor during loading. Im charged in 15 min increments. Ive seen more initiative inspired by pizza and beer. I texted my ex at 7:02 that I was dropping off keys. When I left the movers said we should be done in about 20 minutes. We might be done before youre back but it looked like they hadnt even started, save for breaking my bookshelf. My ******************************************************************************************** and all manner of topics under their breath. They were haphazardly bringing boxes in, blocking the entry, and not even bringing them into the space or even up against a wall. I kept having to pick them up. They finally finished at 8:45pm, (which is over an hour later than they had just said) and tell me my total is over $950. By math, 3.75 hours at $175 an hour and would have been $656.25 at best. I had already paid the deposit/trip charge. I was shocked at the significant difference, offered no breakdown, and did not have the funds to pay it all at once. I tried to pay partially and the man I spoke to on the phone said to wait until I got paid this week. Ive since been on the receiving end of belligerent and excessive calls, voicemails, and emails. I was threatened to be taken to small claims court via voicemail two days after service was provided and five days before the agreed upon repayment date. I received back to back calls the day payment was due while I was working. This was also hands down the lowest level of professionalism in a provided service.
