    I’ve been a regular guest at Flying Squirrel Lutz for over a year, but was really disappointed by how the military discount was handled recently. I brought valid military ID and was told I couldn’t use the discount because my spouse (the veteran) wasn’t physically present, even though their own website clearly states that the discount applies to immediate family — including spouse and children — with ID. The manager said it was a “new rule” they’re trying to enforce, but it’s not listed anywhere online or on-site. As a military spouse, this felt unfair and dismissive — especially since I followed the policy as written. I hope Flying Squirrel will update their website, honor the discount fairly, and treat other military families with more consistency. We’ve supported this business — and we expect that support in return.

    Do not recommend this place for birthday parties!! We booked our childs birthday party from 11:00 AM - 1:30 PM. At 1:00 PM the staff started pestering the kids saying their time was up and we needed to leave. At 1:15 the manager came to us and humiliated us in front of our guests. The manager was very rude and unprofessional. We paid over $600 dollars and did not expect to be treated this way, especially in front of our guests. Stay away!! Go spend your hard working money on a place where you feel appreciated.
