Once I received a number to call customer service they were very responsive, refunded the extra money and provided me with the original service I paid for and gave instructions for future service. I called Ask now ***************** and they said I will get 5 mins for a master psychic call and 30 mins call for $30 and the psychic kept extending the call not listening to me when I wanted to keep the call till I hung up and now they are charging me $116.7. They also already charged me $41 as well. I want a refund and I think they are fraud.Business Response

I made a call one time to this psychic line. It was not entertaining at all and left me very depressed. I did not even call back for the extra master psychic that was included in my payment of $40. The person kept me on the phone and I was charged an additional $13.98. Now I keep getting charged $40 and told ** enrolled in a club membership. I did not sign up for anything and did not authorize. I have requested a refund and to be removed without any success and continually dispute these charges.Business Response

We are sorry for any misunderstanding. The initial purchase was for a prepaid package of $40 and a Club Membership.
The customer already raised this concern on April 5th, and we cancelled the membership.
She then chose to use the minutes and speak to another psychic on April 5th.

We are sorry for this misunderstanding. Your purchase was for $40 for 40 prepaid minutes and the call with our reader was 50 minutes long. The $99 charge is because the psychic you spoke to charges $9.99 per minute after the prepaid time expired.
I have removed the balance and closed the account.

I am rejecting this response because:I appreciate you acknowledging that I don't want to receive any mailings from you. What I've wanted this whole time was a refund for the money charged outside of the $40 I intially agreed to spend. Yes, confusion is a good word. Although I appreciate that you refunded that $40 after we talked, that's what I wanted you to keep while refunding the rest. But you refuse. I didn't even speak with the person for 40 minutes. Even if I am confused about how your operation works, the fact that I'm unsatisfied doesn't seem to matter to you enough to return my money. How unfortunate for us both.

Guess what? The $40 was never applied in the first place. Why? Also, why not automatically refund that if it wasn't used, especially when I inquired in emails afterward? $40 for 40 minutes to speak with a psychic. Why wasn't it applied? Oh, it's my fault for not listening. I was listening! It's their fault for not conveying the details clearly and they know it. Even when he tried to explain it over and over to me on the phone today, it still made no sense. But instead of understanding, I received wordplay, gaslighting & a lecture.

Ironic given that the business is all about communication.My advice:Make sure your reps clearly and explicitly explain HOW to redeem on EVERY call not just the purchase call. Make any recorded message equally clear with an option to repeat them.Even better, Have a dedicated line that is SOLELY for redeeming your packages. The system in place now is insanely misleading and invites the situation I and so many others have experienced.Train your psychics not to rip people off. If someone expresses uncertainty have some morals. Refund every ***** i paid from the Dec 15 reading AND the $40 that was not redeemed because i do not ever plan to redeem it after this horrible experience. The initial purchase was for a $40 for 40 minute reading with one of our Top Rated psychics and a free Sample with one of our Master readers, to which you can chose to stay past those 5 free minutes and continue at the rate of $13.99. The $97.93 was a charge for going beyond the free sample minutes. Since you were dissatisfied with that Master reading I have refunded the $97.93 per minute charge as of 11/22/2023. I filed a complaint earlier but was trying to resolve with company. After 10 calls 4 hang **** no call back and deferring to others, Im done! So here is my refilling complaint -Seeking a refund!I have used this service for about a year now and spent tons of money more than I care to admit. I have questioned the billing of minutes on calls which have been reviewed and I accepted their decision. I was buying packages and on two occasions I was told one thing and another happened. Last time I purchased a package for $69.99 and was told I could purchase a 40/40 days later. ******* even got this approved by her manager. So I call to buy the 40 for $40 and they tell me they cannot do that as I purchased a package - I explained I talked to ******* and asked if they could review that call flat out NO! I explained that I have spent thousands of dollars and they still did not care. They gave me 10 minutes and said that was the best they could do. Whoever is running customer support or this business needs to be FIRED! If you tell a customer something you honor that do not go back on your word. There are plenty of good HONEST services out there a shame you dont follow through as I was so loyal to you and your crew! I dont recommend using this service until they get their act together. Go back and listen to the call and honor what you told me! Please refund my money I spent at your business as your are not honest and now I question your team as well. Customer was not deferred. We have answered her accordingly every time she has called. The original claim is simply not true. We have been more than responsive to her over the years, even giving her complimentary minutes when she was demanding. We have closed her account.
