    My son purchase his first car from Mullinax of Kissimmee 2018 ****** Versa. Full purchase price was $12,117.29. He paid cash. Purchase date 5/16/2023. The last day of the 7 day warranty came and engine light came on. We called and they were closed. We were new to all of this, waited until the next day when they opened and brought the car back to be serviced. The end result was trading it in for a 2018 **** focus and purchased it with a longer warranty as a pre-certified car. That purchase was on 5/25/2023. They traded the ****** for $10,500.00 which was a loss for my son and purchased the **** focus $15,648.75. He had it for exactly 2 months and the engine light came on. We took it back to Mullinax as it had a warranty on 7/25/2023. It took them two months to even diagnose it and it went back and forth four months to get the car back Im working condition. And yes, it has back again to their dealership on March 6, 2024 with another head gasket needing replaced. Ive never heard of a car that would continue to have the same issues. Also to note, it was never because of the **** strike as they were always able to get the parts before strike happened. They have had the **** Focus in their shop with the same issues for longer then the 11 months he has owned it. Managers ********************* and ***************** offered a full refund and all of us agreed that that would be the best outcome. We called ahead of time to pick up his personal belongings from the car and pick up the check. When we arrived at the Dealership, things turned a complete 180 with both ********************* and *****************. My son and I started off with going into *********************** little closed in office. The agreement changed into what felt like an interrogation and we both felt scared and intimidated by ********************* . I had a chain of text messages from a service employee for proof of the opposite of what he was saying to us. He changed from refund to partial and the reasons made absolutely no sense. I went to the service employee to prove out truth and get it confirmed even though I had chain of text messages and voice messages. Then ***************** came into the conversation and the interrogating and untruths continued. It got even crazier of the wild stories they came up with. Both different about the car and it turned into what felt like a shake down. It felt like they had no care and we were in the wrong. None of it made any sense and made us both our bodies shaking. My son went to my vehicle he was that confused and afraid of what these men were saying and accusing us of. After they had their lies all mixed up, they took about 20 minutes to talk to each other. ********************* took me back in his office alone. I was even more on defense and felt even more intimidated because we were alone. He tried to explain there was a mix up but even that made absolutely no sense and wasnt true because the end result was the exact same, Mullinax of Kissimmee was only going to give a partial refund. Im writing this on behalf of myself and my son. Im writing this because my son has special needs which is why I have been through entire process with him in trying to navigate this horrible experience hes had with Mullinax **** of ********** Im also a fragile person with health issues. I cant battle deceitful people like this especially with the cash money my son and I both have paid into this company for a car that needs more care and assistance then we have to give it. Im in fear of retaliation from this company. They still are in possession of the **** Focus. My son only wanted what was offered to him on several occasions from both ********************* and *****************. I believe they should correct their wrong doings and make things right. That is what honest business people do. No one should ever go through what we are going through with Mullinax **** of ********** No one should ever feel intimidated or feel less than. Especially when dealing with the amount of money paid into a vehicle.

    Be really careful with Manny ***** and his upsell tactics.The payment went up when he added it, and I was concerned as it was more than I was expecting to pay.Manny with his deceitful tactics to the rescue.His words, were "With this warranty, you will always have peace of mind.Just bring the truck here, and we take care of the rest.Anything that happens to it, we got you."Well...after a month, two things start happening with the truck.Called Service,no response.Emailed my Salesperson, no answer.Emailed David *******, a true gentleman (The same way I say the bad, I say the good)He personally stayed with me on the line till Service answered.Was advised that I would need to take my truck to a Dodge dealer.Not what Manny said.Called Manny,He advised since we bought the Truck there, to bring it in.We get there, and we are told by Service to take it to Dodge.We get upset but tell him we were advised by Manny to bring the truck. The words from Service were "We are not responsible for what they tell you in Finance."We go to Manny, he starts saying that we should have called instead of bringing the truck, deniying he said to bring it in, BUT, he was going to talk with Service so they would keep the truck and take care of it. He comes back saying that what Service said is correct. Another Manager comes in and advises that they will do the appointment for me with Dodge, and apologized. Went to Service, and the guy tells me I need to do the appointment with Dodge.At that time the Service Manager, another gentleman that cared, tells me in more detail how the Insurance works, and how it would be better to go to Dodge. Apologized for the misinformation from Manny, and even offered for me to bring the truck the next week to see if he could do a diagnostic free of charge, and even fix it if possible. I left upset, but with some hope. Manny just blatantly lies to you to upsell and get his comission.

    Customer purchased an extended service plan on his used RAM truck. Based on the issue he is having with his truck, we advised him to take it directly to the RAM dealer for diagnosis as they have the knowledge and the equipment to quickly and properly diagnose the problem. His extended service plan is valid at the RAM dealer. Customer refuses and wants us to do it for him. It is not our responsibility to handle all his servicing needs as we are a Ford dealer and do not have the specific tools to diagnose RAM issues.

    If you sell me a warranty at your dealer, and Manny says anything you need bring it here and we will take care of it, you will have peace of mind, of course I would like for you to take care of it. AT NO POINT DURING THE SALE HE SAID THAT. I have both recordings if you would like me to post them. I took it to a Dodge dealer the next day after this event at your dealer and they are taking care of it. At no point, they ever told me I had to take it somewhere when I purchased the warranty. It's all good, dirty tactics to upsell you. Shady dealer.

    Funny how they say now they told me my extended warranty could not be used there. I have Manny recorded 2 times saying I only had to bring my truck there and to have peace of mind. I can post them if you like. Second, I did take the truck to Dodge. Get your facts straight. Don't lie to a Customer to upsell a warranty. Loved how they play the blame game. No worries. Lesson learned. Shady dealer, dirty tactics.
