Be really careful with Manny ***** and his upsell tactics. The payment went up when he added it, and I was concerned as it was more than I was expecting to pay.Manny with his deceitful tactics to the rescue. His words, were "With this warranty, you will always have peace of mind.Just bring the truck here, and we take care of the rest.Anything that happens to it, we got you."Well...after a month, two things start happening with the truck.Called Service,no response.Emailed my Salesperson, no answer.Emailed David *******, a true gentleman (The same way I say the bad, I say the good)He personally stayed with me on the line till Service answered. Was advised that I would need to take my truck to a Dodge dealer. Not what Manny said.Called Manny,He advised since we bought the Truck there, to bring it in.We get there, and we are told by Service to take it to Dodge. We get upset but tell him we were advised by Manny to bring the truck. The words from Service were "We are not responsible for what they tell you in Finance."We go to Manny, he starts saying that we should have called instead of bringing the truck, deniying he said to bring it in, BUT, he was going to talk with Service so they would keep the truck and take care of it. He comes back saying that what Service said is correct. Another Manager comes in and advises that they will do the appointment for me with Dodge, and apologized. Went to Service, and the guy tells me I need to do the appointment with Dodge. At that time the Service Manager, another gentleman that cared, tells me in more detail how the Insurance works, and how it would be better to go to Dodge. Apologized for the misinformation from Manny, and even offered for me to bring the truck the next week to see if he could do a diagnostic free of charge, and even fix it if possible. I left upset, but with some hope. Manny just blatantly lies to you to upsell and get his comission.Mullinax Ford of Osceola County, LLC Response

Customer purchased an extended service plan on his used RAM truck. Based on the issue he is having with his truck, we advised him to take it directly to the RAM dealer for diagnosis as they have the knowledge and the equipment to quickly and properly diagnose the problem. His extended service plan is valid at the RAM dealer. Customer refuses and wants us to do it for him. It is not our responsibility to handle all his servicing needs as we are a Ford dealer and do not have the specific tools to diagnose RAM issues.Customer Response

If you sell me a warranty at your dealer, and Manny says anything you need bring it here and we will take care of it, you will have peace of mind, of course I would like for you to take care of it. AT NO POINT DURING THE SALE HE SAID THAT. I have both recordings if you would like me to post them. I took it to a Dodge dealer the next day after this event at your dealer and they are taking care of it. At no point, they ever told me I had to take it somewhere when I purchased the warranty. It's all good, dirty tactics to upsell you. Shady dealer.Customer Response

Funny how they say now they told me my extended warranty could not be used there. I have Manny recorded 2 times saying I only had to bring my truck there and to have peace of mind. I can post them if you like. Second, I did take the truck to Dodge. Get your facts straight. Don't lie to a Customer to upsell a warranty. Loved how they play the blame game. No worries. Lesson learned. Shady dealer, dirty tactics.Review from sarju p

The dealership is horrible. they sold me a car under false pretense on warranty. i was informed about their 60 silver plan and did not get a call back for 2 weeks before before july 4th. i finally get a call and they manager said they wont do anything until i change this post. i changed it and they want me to change the star rating to 5 or else they wont work on it. Brendyn was the sales person, geroge was the gm, and brandon along with eric in service. no one except george called me who bullied me into changing my review b4 theyb did the work. I will not change this until the dealership shows they have earned my trust and thus far they have not. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALERSHIP AND MAKE SURE TO FACT CHECK EVERYTHING THEY PROMISE BC THEY ARE BULLIES BEFORE FIXING THEIR LIES. NEVER BUYING A FORD AGAINCustomer Response

On 2022-06-30 we visited Mullinax Ford in Kissimmee, FL for a Ford Motor Company extended warranty repair. Instead of a professional and courteous welcome with an emphasis on how they can be of service we were greeted by a surly and clearly uninterested service advisor who immediately quoted a $175 diagnostic fee plus stern language around additional repair charges. The service advisor showed neither interest nor intent to provide service. Then a colleague became annoyed about our request to speak with the service manager. The service manager then appeared later and reiterated the prior with clear indication through implication that we should find another dealership. The service manager also empathically stressed that Mullinax Ford actively looks for "mistakes" by other dealerships so that they will not honor Ford Motor Company's extended warranty and charge their repair charges without any credit for the $175 diagnostic fee instead. This conduct and policy is completely the opposite of our regular south Florida Ford dealership that has a more reasonable $89 diagnostic fee plus actual customer service first approach. This was a very disappointing experience.Mullinax Ford of Osceola County, LLC Response

Mr. ********, As we discussed during your visit, Ford Motor Company requires Mullinax Ford to diagnose what repair you need prior to determining if your Extended Service Plan covers the components that need repair. The $175.00 diagnostic fee is disclosed to you prior to Mullinax Ford diagnosing your car problem because if your repair is not covered under your extended service plan, then you would be responsible to pay the diagnostic fee if you decided not to get the repair done. Just like a doctor, you have to pay for the diagnosis even if you decide not to take the prescribed medicine. Our technician's time is no different, they need to be compensated for their diagnostic time regardless of whether or not you decide to get the repair done. If your repair is covered under your extended service plan policy, then the diagnostic fee would be included in your repair and you would only be responsible for the deductible that was purchased on your extended service plan. We explained this to you when you were at the dealership. Thank you, Steve *******. Service ManagerCustomer Response

We can agree to disagree on what constitutes a reasonable amount for a diagnostic service fee and that you consider the conduct of your employees professional. Both of which I emphatically disagree with. Ford Motor Company does not require an inflated $175 diagnostic fee. Furthemore, Ford Motor Company does not require you to employ staff who engage in apparent bad faith with customers by stating all your requirements and what could go wrong rather than approaching it from a customer service first approach. Thank you.Review from Dennis S

Mullinax Ford of Kissimmee bought my truck. I had a lien that needed paid off and the title needed to be transferred to them before they would pay me my money. They kept telling me they did not have the title after 2 weeks. My loan was paid off in a week. Still no money. Then I find out they sold the truck 2 days after I sold it to them for $7,500 more then they gave me. Which is okay. The issue is this. How can they sell a vehicle that they don't have the title too and then claim to me that they can't pay me the money they owe me until the title is switched over to them? They are still claiming they can not cut me my check until they receive the title but yet they sold it to another person without the title. Poor customer communication and all kinds of excuses of why they can't pay me for something they already sold. They have their money back plus the profit of $7,500.00 but can't give me my money. Horrible way of treating a customer.Mullinax Ford of Osceola County, LLC Response

Thank you for speaking with me yesterday. As we discussed, your lienholder ***************, has still not released the lien on your title yet even though they processed our pay off of your loan. Until they release their lien on the vehicle, we cannot get a clear title to the vehicle which is why we hold the release of your equity check until we know the bank had released their lien. Anytime we have resold a vehicle, we would have to cancel that deal if we are unable to secure a clear title from your bank. It is important that your bank releases their lien in a timely manner so that we can release your equity check to you. As further discussed, you are welcome to contact *************** and inquire why they are delayed in releasing their lien. If there is anything else I can do to expedite this process, please let me know. Thank you, George *****, Sales Floor Manager
