Terrible place. Please do not go to this or any Advent Health Hospital or any of their facilities. My experience at the ER in Celebration was terrible. I got there on October 14th at 9:30 PM with horrible upper stomach pain. They checked me in right away, the lady at the front desk was nice, the nurse who took my vitals was good, and also the technician that took my blood sample was good. Then when they took me to my room, the nurse that started to place the patches for the ECG, couldn't finish because an X Ray Tech needed me to go to get my chest X ray. So the patches had to come off. I had the X ray done, and came back to my room. Right then a registrar woman (awful, rude and mean) asked for my name, and date of birth. Then she asked for $525.73 copay, I told her I do not have a copay. She raised her voice and said "I need the copay in order to keep you here". I said back to her, (keep in mind I'm still in pain, haven't been connected to the ECG, or IV either) If I have to leave, I will. My sister insisted that I stay, because I was in a lot of pain. That's when my sister gave the registrar woman her credit card to pay for a "Copay". After that the nurse came in and gave me the IV. I was never connected to the ECG. I stayed until 5:15 AM. They did a CT scan, X Ray and gave me medicine for the pain. They couldn't figure out what was wrong. On Monday the 16th I called my insurance and they confirmed, I do not have a copay I have a 25% coinsurance. Why the registrar woman didn't say that? Why did she ask for a co-pay that didn't exist? Because that's how Advent Health in Celebration operates, they like to collect money from people. Also they charged my insurance for an ECG that was never done. The total for that horrible night was $25, 548.98. And a terrible service. The nurse kept me waiting for more than 2 hours to give me my first pain medicine. All of these are now in hands of my insurance and with upper management at the billing department at Advent Health.

I came to this hospital with chest pains and a horrible headache because it was the closest. After running several tests, I was told they found an aneurysm in my head. This was very concerning to me since it is exactly what killed my beautiful mother suddenly. However, the attending physician seemed to take this as a joke and stated you have to quit smoking. While I know this is important, I wanted to know how I would be treated, and he stated the treatment will be you not smoking. Well you don’t have to be a doctor to know that quitting smoking alone will not treat something this serious. The nurse told me they were admitting me even though I was kept in observation for more than two days with no discharge time. Another lady brought me a huge bill since they hadn’t actually admitted me which I complained about. Now it was the third day, they wanted me to sign agreeing to pay out of pocket when I have insurance to cover my hospital stay. I refused and requested the doctor. The same doctor that thought this was a joke came in and tried to explain he didn’t admit me because there was not a diagnosis yet. After a few words he reluctantly admitted me saving me thousands of dollars. When he exited my room, he and his nurse on duty could be heard laughing! This is the same hospital where the surgeon who performed my Hysterectomy broke my right hip and femur during surgery and tried to cover it up. I would not recommend anyone to come here for care. They don’t even care if you eat or not. Last time I was here they were so rude I ended up leaving when I could barely walk after surgery and going to Orlando health

I would never recommend this hospital to anyone. The service here is a joke. The lady in the surgical area on the 3rd floor named Joanne is rude, always has an attitude anytime you ask her anything. I think she forgot that she's at work and her job is to help people not make people feel bad about themselves with her unapproachable behavior. She needs to have someone on a higher level sit with her for a week to witness her behavior it's unprofessional.
Besides her it seems this hospital lacks communication, cleanliness and the ability to help people. I have reached out via ******** message on August 9th and was told someone would be in contact with me it is September 20th and still no response. I have written them again and no response however the message was seen. I am extremely disappointed in this location it is truly a disgrace.
