I have been paying on a collection with ERC for two years. Every October I renew. When I called to renew my final payments I cant reach them. The phone number is disconnected and the web site does not appear to work. Not sure what will happen with my debt. I am afraid some other company will buy the debt and I will be stuck with the entire amount again!

It's pretty darn difficult to settle my alleged debt with ERC when neither their website nor phone number work. They obviously do not want their money.

I have been trying to pay online and make a payment plan for this debt. The website listed on the letter I received states it is under construction until October. I have googled , and typed in the address and nothing comes up. I want a trail of payments so i wanted to do it online and have proof of payment since I made a $150 payment via mail and it was never listed on my account balance. My balance has been the same since ***** and now I am trying to catch up and without a useful website or contact response it is not user friendly to be able to get rid of this debit hanging over my head.

ERC didn't have my permission to assume my debt from **** and the Agent I spoke with said that they are not actual Creditor. My debt to **** was paid in full. Phones and tablets were returned in a package that **** sent me. I paid my last bill of $325 and some change. ERC claimed I had two bills from ****. Anyone else been told they're not a creditor? This is ruining my credit! Dropped from 700pts to 444pts

This facility reverse skip traced my contact and personal information to contact a debtor that has no association with my telephone number, they violated third party information, and other fdcpa guidelines. They have no legal right to run my personal information and shouldn't have it. This is a clear violation of Lexus nexus policy. In order for this company to obtain my contact information they needed to run my ssn. This is a violation of fdcpa

They made no contact before reporting to credit report. Did not receive any mail at current address, no phone calls, at least the ones that left a voice mail message, and no email. Once contacted, they were too lazy to look up their own filing number. In other words, they did not want to get paid.

My wife received a bill from ERC for a debt we don't have, and are requesting a large sum of money. It came in my wife's name only and claims she is past due on a company debt by almost one year. This is the first bill we've received from this "false" ERC. We receive a monthly bill from the company in question and it's in my name, not my wife's! Each monthly bill is paid at an office of the company in question, and I have proof of each payment. I believe this bill to be a scam on ERC. The address on this bill is a post office box in a ************; the street is not listed. The 800 number listed on the bill is wrong also, as the actual company has a different 800 number plus another number with a 904 area code. The wrong 800 number on the bill is actually a scam; I discovered this from an accuracy search on the legality of the phone number. The account number on **********************'s bill for the company in question has 12 digits. Our actual account number with this ********************** is completely different with 9 digits only. The ERC person listed as Senior Director of Operations on their bill is false; the actual ERC has a VP of Legal and this person's name is completely different. Their web address for ERC is different than ERC's actual web address on the BBB website. My wife's bill from ERC contains many falsehoods, is very inaccurate, and a complete scam! Beware of an ERC with the falsehoods I've mentioned. There should be a complete investigation into the personnel and practices of ERC.
