I was charged for a service that was not rendered. *********** offers a service that transfers an auto lease from one lessee to another. I was looking to take over a lease. A transfer was initiated, I did not approve the initiation and was charged $149.95 for this service. However the transfer was not carried out due to the long delay for final transfer and delivery. I did approve of the transaction. The transaction date was 2.1.2024. The contact at *********** is ************************ and his name is *****. ***** claimed that he has tried refunding my payment and I needed to dispute with my bank because LeaseTrader was "unable to refund the money" based on a technical issue. I disputed with my bank and they declined based on the age of the charge. I had tried for months to contact LeaseTrader to resolve the issue and there was no sense of urgency or care to do so. This company is not acting in the interest of their customers. My account is under the email ******************************************* you

    Dear BBB,

We have carefully looked into this matter and unfortunately, it has been over a year since the transaction took place and the credit card processing company in this case is not allowing for a reversal of the transaction due to the time lapse. Leasetrader.com terms and conditions are stated on the website and our fees are non-refundable . As a courtesy to customer we will issue a ********************** credit for any future transaction for the amount in question.

Thank you in advance for your understanding.

I am rejecting this response because: I have been trying to obtain a refund since back in April at some point. I have been told by ***** at ext 1099 multiple times it would be passed on to be taken care of. Please listen to the recordings from phone calls from **************.

In addition, the document to initiate the lease transfer was not signed by me, therefore the fee should have never been taken to begin with.

    thank you

    Sincerely,

After paying them and selecting Ally as my leasing company I discovered that Ally does not allow lease transfers. They refuse to refund my money, and they clearly knew this before listing **** as an option as they have never allowed this
