Made an airline ticket reservation on 8/26/2024 through *************************** for $321.89 for a roundtrip flight with ***************** Economy ticket. Reservation# *****. The site stated "no bags" but there were no additional details. I tried to call to confirm that they meant checked bags but could not reach them. So I checked directly with ***************** and all of their tickets including Economy get a free carryon bag. I received an email that no tickets are finalized and it would not be issued until I was charged. I would get a confirmation email when it was finalized. It also noted that tickets are nonrefundable.Within 3hrs I received a phone call confirming the details and when they mentioned no bags, I mentioned that does not align with the type of ticket they said I was purchasing with *****************. They also then stated, that I could not check in for the flight online. I advised at that point to not book the tickets and cancel. I advised it seemed extremely odd and too risky for me. I was then offered an upgrade at double the price and higher than I would pay if I booked directly with American. I again asked them to cancel. They said they would still charge me. I advised that they did not disclose that I could not check in online and that's a deal breaker.I then called *****************, and they did not have a ticket purchased for me so this should be cancelled at no charge. I have not received an e-ticket so no purchase has been made on my behalf and I want the transaction voided with no fees.Initial Complaint

I went online to book three tickets to ***********. This business had the best rate. It appeared to be a legitmate business (asked for the information it should regarding passengers, etc.). I was emailed that afternoon: From:************************************************************************************ To:kayolsen67 Sat, Aug 24 at 3:22 PM Dear Passenger Greetings of the Day!!! We tried reaching you a couple of times regarding your reservation. Please call us at *************** , any time. We are happy to help. Thanks And Regards ?******* ******** *************** Already, this looks out of the ordinary. I did immediately call because I had provided my credit card information. They immediately told me that I could not choose seating (that was ok), but no luggage? What? They said for an extra $250.00 a person, they would allow that. I said no. I do not want to do that. She told me I could not cancel. I said that is exactly what I am going to do. I cancelled my credit card. They had not yet authorized any amount (thank heavens).This is a scam. On 8/21/24, I found a ticket on this business website 'Best Ticket Fare'. I know that I double triple checked the date out, when I received my email which only said it was 'processing' my transaction, I called them right away. They wanted double the price to change the date of my ticket, even the same day ticket with a later flight they wanted $500. I was then told my flight did not include baggage and I would not be able to take a bag unless I purchased a different ticket with them, which was another $200. By this time with all the 'extra' money they wanted, I felt like I was being scammed. These people did not speak English well. I felt so uneasy I looked on BBB and they had an F rating and nothing but complaints against them. I called my bank to let them know and that I would dispute any charges they tried to take out of my bank account. On 8/6/24, I did an airline ticket search on cheapflights.com, which linked me to another carrier called BestTicketFare.com. The price was slightly lower than all of the other carriers, so I pursued purchasing a ticket through them. I "bid" on tickets and received a confirmation that my bid was received and that I would receive a confirmation email once my bid was accepted. Within 15 minutes of hitting enter on this bid, I received a call saying "Congratulations, your bid was accepted and you are now locked in." They then started to explain that my tickets were nonrefundable (not a problem), but that I couldn't have any luggage (carry on or checked in) and that the two seats I purchased were not guaranteed or guaranteed to be together. These were both not accepted to me since I was going to be traveling with a small child. When I said that I didn't want to go through with the bid, they said that my credit card would be charged for the nonrefundable ticket unless I upgraded to much more expensive tickets that allowed for luggage and seat assignments. When I said that I could do better just going through the airlines, they said that I would still be charged for the canceled tickets. I ended up researching them on the BBB site and see that this company has many similar complaints and a very low rating. Clearly, this is predatorial and ************* practice in order to make a few hundred dollars off of each customer who falls for it. I ended up canceling my credit card and marked them as fraudulent should they still try to charge my credit card again. I am hoping that the charges will not actually be charged to my account and that I called the credit card company in time, but I still wanted to report them to the BBB so that others will not fall for Best Ticket Fares (www.bestticketfares.com) horrible practices. Their customer service should be ashamed of following the company's fraudulent practices.Initial Complaint

Dates: 07-28-2024 Original booking with ****************** from ******* to ********** for $250.21; 07-29-2024 Final booking with ***************** from ******* to ********** for $370.98.Description of Problem: After booking original flight with Southwest at $250.21, within 24 hours I received a phone call from *********************** telling me the original flight was likely (90%) to be cancelled as I was flying "STANDBY". Flying "STANDBY" was never mentioned. I was then offered this new flight at their "BEST" price of $370.98. I was told the original flight was not changeable, nor refundable, so I was stuck booking the second flight with American for $370.98. If I decided to go elsewhere for my ticket I would forfeit the original flight and lose the $250.21 that had already been paid. Meanwhile, Best Ticket Fare is in possession of my name, credit card with expiration date and security code.Can something be done with Best Ticket Fare so they cannot scam others??Thanks.***********************Initial Complaint

On July 16, 2024 I purchased two tickets to ******* on the website for Bestticketfare. The cost was $669.78, there were non-stop tickets on United airflight, direct ******** to *******. The next day I was contacted and told "certain amenities" would not be included with this ticket, ie no personal or carry on items, we would not be allowed to sit together and a long list of other things but they would be glad to help me upgrade for an additional charge. I insisted for over an hour that they were doing a bait and switch and I wanted a refund. They refused to credit my card. They offered to book me another flight that was not direct from ******** or a direct flight out of ***** (an hour away). I continued to insisted that they refund my money to no avail. The new flight they offered out of ***** was on Spirit Airline and was more expensive than Spirit's price at that moment. I never hit the summit, ********************* (***********************) call me saying it was a restriction fight. I could not bring luggage are a carry-on, and could not cancel. After like 10min I got her to cancel, but she charge me a fee $515.92. I told her I should not be charge a cancellation fee, she told me to call my credit card company and have them dispute it. Which they did 5 times and they still want refund me my money. What she did was, not cancel the frontier fight, she book another fight with UA, so it would look like it been Cancel. But she use the same booking # for frontier, in **. She filled the from out with no name and use this email address ******************* I remember that email cause she repeated that email on the phone with me on it, I told her thats not my email I just gave you. She said she know, she was filling something out. Yesterday when i call them back to let them know what she did, he going to say do I have proof. I said people heard her on the phone, cause I had her on speaker. Then he tried to say they never had anyone work there by that name, when he told my credit card people who assisted me. I been dealing with this problem since Feb 25. Also they refused to give me there headquarters phone #, also frontier. Frontier tells me to log in with ****** and my last name, but nothing comes up. I ask frontier if they can send me information with my real email. They say it would go to e-mail on file, which I dont have essence to. The referral # for cancellation with frontier suppose be #*******E01GWNB3P55. Thats the # she had me to right down, a long with the telephone # ********** which It dont assist. I wrote the information down in my strap notebook. Which I would send some stuff you have to disregard, cause write stuff all over the place. This company tried to scam me out of an additional $500 dollars. I had to call my bank, cancel my debit card and put a stop on the "purchase." They are an utter and comp!she scam company. BBB already has an F grade on them. I received their link in a seemingly genuine search for plane tickets that included price line and other reputable sources. BAN THEM. SCAMSCAMSCAM

Business is a complete and utter scam : you advertised "bestticketsfare.com" that is not a factual business. You do not vet your associates. F grade by BBB, total scam you are advertising.
