I visited *************** on 7/6/25 to search for a one-way airline ticket leaving *********, ** to *******, ** on 7/9/25. I found a ticket for approx $179 and I paid online. What I realized was that *************** had transferred me to a 3rd party which was bestticketfare.com. I waited on the confirmation email but instead got a phonecall from one of their agents "****** ******" who proceeded to tell me that he would not complete my confirmation via ****************** unless I paid an additional $100. He refused to provide a refund and told me that if I don't pay the additional charge my ticket would be pushed to later in the month. I could not do that since I had to get back home for work. I was forced to pay more money than I planned just to get home. This is clearly a scam and I've now seen many comments online about this company being a bait and switch. They should not be allowed to do people this way with the false advertising. Then you're held hostage until you pay more money. This company should be shut down! I am not seeking my money back but I don't want anyone else to have to go through this! They need to be stopped!Initial Complaint

This company is a scam. I tried to book a flight through Bestticketfare. It was an attractive discount price around $321 when direct booking would be $520. Nice but not unbelievable. The next day I was asked to call them to confirm details of flight. When I did, I talked to one ***** who put me on hold for 20 minutes. Then a second ***** came on and said that to keep the same day on the flights would cost me $799. Since I was going to a funeral that was necessary. They informed me that the ticket was booked through Delta and it was non-refundable and non-changeable and I was locked in and I if I cancelled, I would lose all my money. 07.02.25 made a purchase of a discounted ticket and I am elderly and was not understanding why they were charging me more than the airline.they tried to put a disabled child alone on the flight making me pay more money than they showed on the receipt. When I called the airline, they stated we were not even booked, and they did not have any of the passengers on the flight. The company basically held me hostage as they would not refund me nor would they honor the amount they stated and took on the itinerary. the man who would not give me his name or a manager stated that we were ignorant and would not issue a refund and tried charging ****** more when a direct flight was cheaper.I explained that we had a disabled child and that we could not be separated they made horrible statements and tied our hands to have to purchase the tickets as they would not honor the itinerary. {SEN ****** was the name he faked to tell me he was the manager by making his voice deeper as he laughed about our autistic child. continued to call me names and would not get a manager. ****** the manager stated that she could not issue the amount that is the same as *****************. They made me sign agreement in order to book the flight as they would not receive the refund. On or about 5/5/2025 I purchased a ticket to fly to fly from ********* Md to Ft Lauderdale Fl; booking ID ********** later after paying for my ticket I received a tele phone call from ***** ***** *********** informing me that the ticket price had increased to $231.65 which was considerable higher than the original plane ticket price.Also the original time of flight was no longer ************. ***** offered me a late evening flight (originally leaving in am & I wouldnt arrive at destination until late at night with new offer) I agreed because I didnt want to chance not getting to Fl in a timely manner in that my brother-in-law was dying & had been placed in hospice.Because of the inconvenience Mr ***** offered me upfront seating, carryon ******************** assistance (wheelchair is offered by Spirit w/no additional cost anyway) Mr ***** reneged on the compensation. When I questioned **************** I abruptly received an email saying my ticket had been cancelled.I then had to pay for another ticket with *************** & in that Best Ticket Fares cancelled my ticket beyond the 24 hour cancellation period, I had to pay a $99 fee.Best Ticket Fare issued me a cash refund of $60 but issued me a credit voucher of $170 which I would have to use with them and which would have to be redeemed within 6 months! I want my $170 refunded to me and additionally I want them to pay the $99 cancellation fee for abruptly cancelling my ticket after the 24 hour time limit imposed by ***************.Initial Complaint

I purchased an airline ticket through best ticket fare. I don't usually purchase through 3rd party sellers but I have have success with other sites so I figured it was fine. It was NOT FINE. I was called and spoken to in a VERY rude manner once I declined to pay additional money to this company in order to be given a seat on the plane! When they called they told me that it is a flexible ticket and I cannot bring a carry-on. I asked for a manager and was met with rude comments. I was told I won't even get a confirmation email until 3 days before the flight! The attitudes from the people representing the company intensified once I claimed I was scammed. On 6/15 I booked a cheap fare online for ******. The best ticket fare agent then called me within 5 minutes to tell me I could not bring luggage on my flight and I need to upgrade my ticket. They charged me an additional ****** and would not refund my original ticket. I feel that they are committing fraud by not disclosing that information on the booking page under flight rules and restriction but somehow reference it on a home page that you are not directed to from the cheap airfare home page. Bought a plane ticket through them on 6/10/2025 for $194.66 and after about 3 hours got no confirmation so I called them. They said that flight was no longer available because they did not book it but could upgrade me on the same flight for another $600 or switch me to a different airport over an hour and a half away from my destination. I booked a ticket with Best Ticket Fare on 06/08/2025 over the phone. the ticket is for my wife and grandchild to travel from ********, ******* to ***********************, leaving Jul 6th - returning Aug 23rd.The lowest airfare is with *************** - they have four different fares - cheapest to the most expensive: Go - Go Savvy - Go Comfy and Go Big. I am writing to urgently bring to your attention a formal complaint against BestTicketFare.com. They are employing egregious bait-and-switch tactics in the sale of airline tickets, a practice that is not only deceptive but also exploitative. As a consumer who values transparency and fairness, my experience with this company has left me feeling misled, strong-armed, and taken advantage of. When I felt uncomfortable after not receiving a confirmation email for my purchase from the company, I contacted the company to confirm my reservation. The agent informed me that the fare I purchased was flexible, meaning it did not guarantee my travel date or departure airport. The agent then told me that not only was my date not guaranteed, but it was also unavailable. She said they would email me a travel date for four to six days after the date for which I purchased the ticket. Further compounding my frustration, the agent aggressively upsold "guaranteed" tickets that allegedly locked in my travel date and chosen flight. I asked to speak with her supervisor. I asked then for them to cancel the ticket and was told NO they would not cancel the ticket.I spent 45 minutes on the phone arguing with the supervisor about the deceptive and aggressive tactics of her company. I felt immense pressure to pay the additional $148 to this untrustworthy company to avoid losing the initial $115 I thought I was spending on discounted airfare. This whole business model is a horrible abuse of the consuming public!I demand a full refund of the $189 for the deceptive practices I experienced during this transaction. I also urge the Better Business Bureau to conduct a thorough investigation into this company's operations. Their practices are not only misleading but potentially illegal. I purchased a flight through this company this morning. I noticed that somehow my birth month had been entered incorrectly, so I called them to fix it. At this point, I was told it was $75 each way to correct that, and that my ticket did not allow any luggage at all, which wasn't explained on their web site before I purchased the flight. Then they told me it would be an additional $302.04 to add a carry on bag to my flight along with the correction of my birth month, plus pick my seats. They changed my flight from Southwest to Frontier and charged me $279.94 for the flight., and it did allow a carry on bag. The times were not what I had wanted as the layovers were longer. I ended up going to Frontier's website and saw that I could cancel within 24 hours for a full refund ($279.94) I called my credit card company and they are sending me a new card so this company can't make additional charges in the future. Now *********** will contest the additional charge of $302.04. My email from BestTicketFare with a flight confirmation was for a flight on Spirit, not Frontier, and not even in my name. It was for someone named *******! Please investigate this company. They are complete scammers. They charged me $581.98 when on Frontier's site that flight was only $279.94 and it allowed me a carry-on bag. I am livid that this company even exists. The agent name claims he is Will ******
